Tanki is dying. Only money rules now--not well-crafted feedback. Surely you know this. And I can counter that by saying NEITHER of what both of you do has an effect on tanki. So... ? Especially in THIS thread. Venting could be therapeutic for him, however. I'm sorry you feel that way. Perhaps don't take criticism of tanki so personally next time? Or maybe don't frequent the threads that are known to have criticism-type comments? Could his feedback in the forum also serve this purpose? And Flip has decided it's worth it to let the forum know (and anyone else who frequents it) his dissatisfaction with the direction tanki is voluntarily choosing to take. And maybe he is educating some players as to the history of tanki's game and why he feels the game is currently 'trash'. I mean, I still get the odd player who thinks there are no bots in tanki, lol!! And the name of the thread IS 'Your OPINION on the current state of tanki'... I am ten thousand percent confident that if he crosses any 'line', the librarians will delete his post.

Let me know when 'tact' and 'finesse' ever have an effect on tanki... Did finesse work when they introduced floating tanks? Did finesse work when they (continuously) reduce rewards? Did finesse work when they introduced bots? Did finesse work when they nerfed turrets you just bought? Did finesse work when they butchered the matchfaking system? Let me know when the owners of tanki ever considered 'tact' and 'finesse' when counting their money at the end of each quarter... So... you want him to use different language because the WAY he speaks makes you uncomfortable and sad? Just asking, In what way does your battle-trash-talking exhibit 'tact' and 'finesse'? And yet... you did? Have you ever considered that he/she is from a different country than you--where their choice of words and ways of criticizing are completely normal and inoffensive...? Or maybe that the tone you read their post in is completely different than the tone in which it is written? Or maybe that you are taking their posts personally as you seem to trashtalk tanki as well--just in a different area. Personally, their posts are 100% accurate (from my perspective), inoffensive, and have more 'tact' and 'finesse' than the posts I sometimes make. And to that, I would say: silence implies consent. And to say nothing is worse than to say something that lacks 'tact' and 'finesse'...

At what point during the match do you turn off or lessen the winning teams' bot AI?

I thought it was a developer's mom who just discovered the game and that her son is a part of it, made an account, and doesn't want her child to think that they are doing a bad job screwwing people out of their money...

If your high perception thinks I'm a bot, I laugh. Bots only post positive things towards tanki. I only post what I see as tanki's failings. Except that one map that guy just made. That was a pretty good map. Just--as I said-- 6 years too late.

Is he not allowed to continue to vent his displeasure while simultaneously playing? Are you one of those players who just swallows whatever tanki shoves down your throat and says that it's the best game ever--despite knowing it isn't and the player base is dwindling by the day because of it? Maybe you should ask more from a game than just 'happy to be here, screw everyone for profit. I'll still play because I'm that _____' ( rhymes with blathetic...). It's 2024. 'Just happy to be here' is so 2012. Glad you aren't running the game, bro...

Just played a game where only 6 of the 24 players were real. There were 18 bots. Biggest joke of a game I've ever played here at trashski online. Can. Not. Wait.

But they haven't. They're just more difficult to destroy. And they inflict more damage. That's it. Any hack can increase the amount of damage bots do--or decrease the amount of damage taken--by just changing a number in the programming. That's it. They still don't participate in the mission. Heck, they even drive right past each other without shooting a lot of the time. They respawn at light speed as well. My favorite is that one tank that always drives backwards into enemy territory with full health. That part isn't AI, my dude. That's just number manipulation. ****Just played a game where our Juggerjoke spent the majority of the game shooting a shaft on our own team. So, no, it isn't a decent of level of competence****

My complaint is the over zealous 'moderation' in a long dead and unvisited forum.

Thank you so much, Tanki developers for this great game and for giving us exactly what the owners and shareholders want when you maximize profits and reduce the fun of the game to almost zero!!

You realize they actually DO have bots, right? Like... you DIDN'T know this...? It isn't a secret. Greed defines the game now--nothing more, nothing less. THAT is the very 'core and essence' of TO now. And advertisements lie. Snake-oil salesmen have been 'advertising' their fake products for money for forever (in one form or another). In fact, when you buy a turret and it gets nerfed a month or two later, some would say that tanki lied about the turret's stats when you bought it... It's like buying a 'porche' and realizing it's a lada after you drive it for 2 months... Very altruistic. This doesn't happen anymore. That actually sounds like a quote from the tanki archives somewhere designed to lure noobs in to play the game. (Unless you are being sarcastic) Tanki doesn't have hackers. There is a place to report them on the russian forum somewhere. So how could there possibly be any hackers? Are you implying that the hacking reporting system is less than perfect? Are you implying that tanki doesn't care about hackers within its game--upsetting the delicate balance of players and teams for their own benefit and boredom alleviation??? Are you saying that the devs have done a sub-par job at preventing hackers from entering the game if they are still present in vast numbers after a decade??? Pish posh, I say. But then... you've been here for a while, haven't you? Especially if you knew the complaint thread started in 2020...

Let's just make all the bots 2-3x more powerful than the players. That will fix everything...

My opinion is that if you're just going to delete all the posts anyways, why have the forum at all? Why not just delete every single thread except the compliments thread? And just have no comments allowed on the patches/updates thread? That is my opinion on the current state of tanki online.

The remaining players who still pay to play tanki will pay whatever the price is (be it in crystals or real currency). Tanki knows that if there are people still paying to play tanki, the owners can tell the devs to dream up anything they want and charge a massive amount for it. Because those players will still pay it. Quality loses out to profit.

Weird how this was allowed as a pic of the day back in November 2023: But this wasn't allowed today as a pic of the day. Again, a special kind of tanki logic on that one. But that's my complaint for today.

So evidently, this is not con structive criticism. Not sure what construc tive criticism is--as tanki rarely listens to literally anyone. But there you go. Absolute garbage. Bots get in the way, stop moving at ramps, are terrible 'team mates', do not do the mission, sit there inactive for minutes at a time. And I've never been shot more times by my own bot-team ever in the history of the universe. Enemy bots seem to have become indestructible to compensate for being bots as a damaged-boosted shaft sniper-shot doesn't destroy tanks it usually did, and bots seem to be 10x more accurate than real players, heck, they don't even have to be aiming in the general direction of the tank it's trying to hit and yet still score a crit. They respawn at lightning speed, and seem to be able to drive backwards, unharmed through enemy territory. And lets not forget the mines. Evidently, they can drive over multiple mines without either setting them off or being destroyed. And I guess instead of adding an 8k enemy to 'even the battle', you just turn off or dumb-down the bot AI. Am I correct? Oh. I stand corrected. Tanki still puts the 8k tank on the other team. I guess when there are only one hundred total players playing on any given day, there isn't much you can do. I cannot figure out how this course of action makes tanki more money. It just gives the appearance of more 'accounts'. Can. Not. Wait.

Even though you have many, MANY bots playing to cover up the fact that there aren't enough players (not accounts) to fill any arena anymore, but you STILL can't get matchFaking right. STILL having 9k's in with the 4k tanks.

Exactly. But that's why he was very specific with his use of 'accounts'. He knows the numbers or real people playing keep getting worse and worse. And I mean, he seems to have a lot of time and energy tied up in the mechanics of tanki, so I'm not surprised that was the word he chose.
