    ...Is this not insulting...?

Maybe verbalizing it here. But I cannot tell you how completely incorrect and wrong you are if you think we are the only 2 that feel this way. As I have instructed you before. Spend some time in the chat and you'll see the complaints. [edited] [edited] [edited] Can we be done with that now?

Not sure your tank is the norm, LOL. Like, not even close. Your nukes, supplies, crystals, tankoins... almost everything you have is higher than normal. And it looks like you've spent a ton already on your tank. Here's one of my randoms that is close in rank to yours. This account doesn't even have access to all the turrets, hulls, or protections yet, lol! But clearly the playing field would not be level if we met in battle. And to be honest, with your GS, upgrades, crystals, and supplies you have... you shouldn't even be CLOSE to the highest GS in ANY match you play. MatchFaking should be putting you in with the 6-8k tanks--like it does for me.
  4. Hard to believe Maf started this in 2014 and it's over 300 pages long...

And your singling out 1 example doesn't disprove that it isn't broken. Odd that Mr. 933 is the one you choose to focus on as to why MF isn't broken. And completely ignore the 8.7k--which is the best example of why it is. And the subsequent addition of 2x 6ks in the very next match halfway through the game. Not sure if Mr. 933's 'knowledge of the game' is what is being called into question here. Why does he have to be 'purposefully' keeping his rank low? Could he not be saving up his crystals for something specific? Could he not be learning how to use a new turret or hull? I mean, is it unrealistic to expect someone to try out a new turret at some point, but yet punish him by putting him in matches like the one above? Either way, Mr. 933 left the game, but Mr 8.7k did not. Guess who wound up having the most kills and least deaths--by far...? The easy fix for what you are describing is to not allow tank changes after the game starts... Here's another. I don't think Mr. 463 is multing. So, your theory of multing is moot. Same with Mr. 783. But 2x 6ks added after the game has already started proves it's broken more than it isn't broken. And no, I didn't stay in this game either.

Imagine being Mr. 933 and being put into this match, lol. And it's because of this MatchFaking that I leave... probably 5x as many games as I stay in. This is probably more accurate: 713-5833 And halfway through the game, they supplemented the other team with 2x 6ks in this one.

Not sometimes, most times. The party line used to be that there weren't enough players of the same GS to put into a game, but we know that not entirely true (today). [edited: there aren't a ton of players left, but that's not the entire reason for the varying GS] Less balanced, yes. To guarantee a win... not so much. It's designed this way to put you under biological stress while you sit there on your phone or computer. It's designed to be played at a frantic pace (why there are so many extra tanks in any given arena, +drugs, +augs, +dropped supplies)--especially if you are on the team with the lower gear scores. You aren't supposed to think, you are supposed to react. Activate supplies (drugs) as quickly as possible. Your stress goes up, your 'flight or flight' response is activated, you get an adrenaline surge. It's the adrenaline surge that is the addictive part of the game which the developers WANT you to have. It's addictive. And it makes you want to keep playing to activate that biological response. Whichever team wins or loses is incidental. Gamblers have a similar response when playing slot machines. It isn't winning that keeps them coming back. It's the adrenaline rush of the fear of losing when they pull the slot machines' arm. That's the addiction. It's biology. It may cause boredom for some players because when your adrenaline response isn't activated, you are less likely to become addicted to the game. You are able to think more. Plan more. Interact more. Eat a grilled cheese sandwich while playing. This is what they don't want. I would assume that there is an algorithm for an optimal distribution of gear scores that will entice you to stay and play. Probably also why the gear scores are color-coded--you just glace at the screen when the game begins, don't look too much into the numbers, and if there are several GS that are the same color as your GS, you stay... And I mean, maybe some of those other accounts are 'placeholders' until a non-bot-player arrives? Who knows...?

Just playing a game and I randomly 'self destructed' while driving. I didn't press self destruct, nor did I flip upside down, nor are my settings on 'auto self destruct'. No countdown prior to destruction, I was behind a wall and there was no fire from an enemy tank. Upon re-spawn, I could not obtain any supplies crate on the ground. Pretty suspicious tank behaviors. So glad I don't pay for this game.
  9. The game has evolved to the point where it is almost useless to select a short range turret. Even so called 'mid-range' turrets (which used to be riccochet, hammer, etc) have evolved to have long range effects.
  10. You can be bad at tanki and still win because your team is good or you have the best augs and upgrades which masks your ineptitude. Conversely, You can be good at tanki and still lose matches because you don't have the best equipment or upgrades. lol. "just" "a while" "heaps"
  11. They should give more than that for suffering through a battle to the end these days.
  12. Just went there. Not a user friendly area. Most of it Is in russian. Ranks in the games are... lol... from noobs to legends. And to be honest, I don't think tanki has the numbers to support much more than it already does. Not surprised no one goes there. This is all you need to know about tanki 2024 right here:
  13. Do you have to pay any kind of currency for pro battles?
  14. You're probably correct. One is a game that is designed to take an hour (or more) to play. The other is designed for 12 minutes. Tanki is designed for the adrenaline-drug-like rush of frantic game play, an endless supply of new players, and matches that are designed to put you under duress, the other isn't designed for any of those qualities. And this is what I disagree with. I don't think it would be boring. I think strategy would return. Maybe I'm advocating for tanki to return to more of a 'thinking' game rather than a 'feeling' game? Their brand loyalty became zero.
  15. Not sure 2 times is enough for a thorough test--nor even to develop a strategy.
  16. This. As did a massive number of players. This is how the current 'strategy du-jour' evolved. Camping. Hang out in the chat area and you'll see how many people have crashed games. As have I. Has nothing to do with my hardware. Who says I haven't? You have a very 'you-centric' view. And as I have said: I do not agree. The 'complaint book' is 40 pages long and isn't even 2 years old and I can GUARANTEE you that there have been complaints deleted (so it's actually more)
  17. (I wasn't going to reply. But I will.) And I disagree with all of them. The game today is boring. Exceedingly boring. If the game reverted back, you'd adapt. Just like you have adapted to 2024 tanki. And it isn't nostalgia. Today, you need very little talent. Very little teamwork. Bots and more bots. No one has strategy. Lag, glitch, ping, crash. MatchFaking is terrible. Rewards get less and less. Buff, nerf, buff, nerf, repeat-- ad nauseum. Etc, etc, blah, blah, blah. And while many people here agree with you, if there was a way I could ask ALL the players who have left, almost all of them would agree with me. People still play monopoly. It essentially hasn't changed since 1935. Tanki had to change to make more money...

I am finding it a very difficult struggle to maintain even one iota of interest in this game today. MatchFaking at its finest.
  21. Tanki has bots now. They don't need players to fill out matches. 'Forward' is subjective. In other news, about 3-4 minutes into any game, I check the gear scores of both teams. If I see that the other team's GS have bloated beyond reasonable unfairness to 'tanki-level-unfairness', I usually message my team of the uneven gear scores and recommend they leave the game and join a new, more balanced one. And then I leave the battle. That is the current state of tanki online (in my opinion).
