Super Crits, and how bad they are post-legand fights
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in Super Crits, and how bad they are post-legand fights Archive
Crits, basically its a low chance thing that, when it happens, deals increased damage ...or is supposed to for some reason, some weapons suffer in terms of crit damage; dealing around the same amount of damage as normal hits would which brings a problem: the armadillo module If you were to use one of those weapons and pop on Super crits as dictator/hornet while fighting them, you may or may not notice that you are either dealing normal damage equivalent of crits, or even worse, DEALING LESS! (and that's not taking into consideration the augments that lower crit damage for status effects) All in all, this puts super crits in a very niche case, even rendering it useless if not outright downgrading for some turrets "So? Just don't use them!" sadly that's not the case, because there are quests tied to killing enemies with crits on weekly basis, and you basically have to shoot your hits in the leg, thankfully its only 15, otherwise it would have been a nightmare. -
Someone has introduced me to a website that helps with figuring out what are the possible words, the topic can be closed now

Nevermind, found a solution

Stalker is an agile light hull that excels at stealth operations; attacking where other tankers expect it the least Instead of relying on jump mobility, stalker cloaks itself to match its surroundings, rendering it invisible to everyone but its allies for 7 seconds(also hides you from radar detection), the next attack you land will deal massively boosted damage, with that being said, while cloaked, points cannot be captured, and touching a rugby ball/flag or taking damage will cause your invisibility and damage effect to wear off.

a way to make turrets more enjoyable at early/mid game without having to unbox, is to add unlock-able ones via requires doing something with that turret to unlock the augment. This would give starting players more stuff to start with.

The new event feels like a scam
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in The new event feels like a scam Archive
This would have been alright if it was just a wheel. You spin, you get a reward, simple as that. instead, we get the stupid "wordle", which may take up to 8 days (up to as in if you managed to get repeated letters) to do, that's assuming you do not get any skips, 3 chests, or +1 spin and word select, or do a single mistake. The 3 chests reward is poorly labeled, you do not get the choice to pick, its a random hidden cards mini-game where you have to blindly pick a card to get a chest, why not just make it a "random chest" at that point? it feels dull, paid or free, you will be punished if you made bad guesses either way, which is bound to happen I guess Oh, if you're here for the magnificent top prize, it requires you to go through NINE random wordles to access the final one, which contains THIRTEEN letters to go through, yeah.. have fun. -
nvm, I figured it out, this can be closed.

it may not have been necessarily a strong overdrive to begin with, but the new overdrive change trashed the overdrive on some maps If you didn't know, new update made it so that the icicle will bounce off any wall/obstacle that isn't particularly straight, there may be some strategic value to it, but for the most part, it made the overdrive worse wanna bust the Overdrive on a distant enemy hiding behind a wall? welp, if that wall isnt straight upwards, it will basically take the superman position and fly off to the sunset! this was probably something unnecessary to add to what probably is one of the worst overdrives in the game.

that would certainly be useful I hope it does get implemented

Internal freezing (Freeze) The cold now reaches to the deepest parts of the enemy's systems, slowing down not only their movements, but also their turret's reloading speed, this, however, halves how fast you freeze your opponent PROS: Freezing also effects enemy's reload speed CONS: -50% freezing speed Shell melter (firebird) the heat melts through enemy tank's outer shell, causing it to take increased damage from all sources while burning, but this causes it to consume charges faster PROS: Heat also increases the damage the enemy takes, up to 25% CONS: +25% Charge drain -50% burn damage dealt by you Chain shock systems (tesla) Tesla deals less damage, but no longer loses damage when chaining against multiple targets PROS: Tesla deals fixed damage when hitting multiple times CONS: -20% damage System supplier (Tesla) Shocked allies gain an increased boost in reload speed for a few seconds, but your own damage and reload speed outputs are reduced PROS: Shocking allies grants +25% reload speed (multiplicative) CONS: -15% damage -15% reload speed Balanced nanobots (isida) configures nanobots to grant improved healing while not being set back as much in combat PROS: +50% healing per tick +50% healing from crits CONS: -25% damage per tick -25% damage from crits

Blind missile battery (striker) Removes the targeting and homing systems of your rocket launcher, allowing you to launch your barrage at enemies on demand when held down, but the lack of homing and targeting capabilities may hinder combat on certain terrain Pros: holding down fire button for a while triggers barrage without the need of a target Cons: rockets no longer home on enemies

Friction-beam (railgun): A non-standard but nifty tech for seasoned tanks who are up to moving their turrets frequently, rotations cause the beam to accumulate increased amount of electricity on the next discharge, increasing the railgun's impact, this tech, however, causes the beam to require a significantly increased wind-up time before it can launch its beam, allowing you to accumulate further impact, but may hinder you more vulnerable Pros: 10%-120% damage increase on the next shot depending on how much you rotated (120% on 360 degrees) +20% turning speed Cons: +50% wind-up time on the railgun shot -20% reload speed Refraction beam(may require some modifying)(railgun): This modification of the beam allows it to bounce off of hard surfaces, allowing you to hit enemies behind lines with careful positioning, this also results in the railgun beam bouncing off of other tanks, which can render it difficult to hit multiple enemies at once Pros: beam refracts up to 3 times on hard surfaces and tanks Fall-off is halved when beam refracts Cons: -20% damage on non-refracted hits Beam no longer passes through enemies

With this, I suggest: The gesture wheel when holding a certain hotkey, you can select which gesture/emote do you wanna pick via hovering mouse at it, once you release hotkey with the emote your cursor is on, you will send an emote in team chat so why do such a thing? because its impossible to coordinate with others, warn them, etc. when you do not speak their language, and not everybody is willing to learn a language to speak with randoms in a tank game

How do you utilize Paladin's OD?
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in How do you utilize Paladin's OD? Archive
from what looks like it, it doesn't seem to provide much in terms of being an overdrive the heal is generally not that good, the status immunity is decent, but not enough to help with pushing forward, and the only time this OD would even be that helpful is when you are using guardian drone -
Augment for Magnum Lobber: magnum fires 6 rounds before reloading, at the rate of 2 per second (can be held down) -30% damage -25% splash radius -66% reload speed cannot reload until fully depleted Can no longer charge up shot distance
-
oh I see those extra steps will at least ensure that you are being pitted against people on fairer grounds
-
Basically, with shaft, whenever I release those shots at said positions, my tank would self-destruct, then proceed to deal no damage it doesn't ALWAYS happen, but it happens so quite frequently, that its getting quite annoying I am guessing this issue has something to do with dictator's collision, but I should try out using different hulls before I can confirm that
-
no it doesnt match making pits you against others based on your RANK you can have 4000 GS and it would still put you in a team of 9999 GS
-
I wish I could, but my pc would do backflips and lag like hell

I have done so very little as snipe while standing on a slope, and apparently that's considered cheating by the anti-cheat I shot a tank through one of those small barriers with a hole in the center, and apparently that's considered cheating by the anti-cheat I Fired my scorpion after launching my homing missiles, and even though my shot completely missed, its somehow considered cheating by the anti-cheat What ISN'T is apparently railgun and gauss beams magically shooting and killing me in a single shot behind a barrier while im not even close to any holes from any sides I have seen anti-cheats that are working poorly, and NONE of them interfere with normal game-play like that anti-cheat does.

The current MM system is hard, the moment you hit marshal, if you do not have 9000 GS worth of gear, you are basically screwed and will be playing for scrapes, so here's a suggestion: 1- players are placed in queues depending on their GS, aka: a- 0-1000 are pitted against bots only b- 1001-2000 are pitted against mostly bots and a few players c- 2001-4000, 4001-6000, and 6001-8000 are pitted against half players and half bots, with matchmaking scaled to those GS d- 8001+ are pitted against only players, bots only act as fillers if there are no players that join within 60 seconds 2- players can swap gear freely, but if your gear exceeds the GS limit, you will be kicked from the match/forbidden from swapping to that set AN alternate is to make the players below this GS have their tank equips scaled-up to bare-minimum, so they can have a slightly better hand at fighting.

alright, on yeah, keys, the ones that give garbage most of the time, the ones that are littered with almost everything to dilute your chance of actually getting something nice, those keys. Thank you, but I think people would prefer a more... CONSISTANT... way of getting augments specifically F2ps, but you know, doing something for em will probably cost a leg and an arm since it may provide you no income whatsoever
-
The numbers are just hypothetical, around 500k would have sufficed, with the price being 2500 for the legendaries The point is, when people have hit the very best rank and have nothing left to unlock with crystals, it would be neat if they can have access to being able to buy all legendary augments, at a steep amount of crystals
-
this is useful for many reasons, such as: - Makes all augments available. - Gives end-game players a reason to further farm crystals. - You can always milk money from them via red gems. - Allows you to actually have a way to farm out legendary augments instead of having to rely on rubbish RNG crates, which, half of the time, will be skins that will rot in my storage.

Matchmaking imbalance: New Marshal thrown into chaos
Acecaddy replied to Mr.Blitz in Game Discussion
Issue with bots is that they are given a passive 50% resistance to damage, to cater to one of the worst bot designs I have ever seen NOT ONLY THAT, but if you do kill them, you get only 1/3rd of a normal kill's rewards, if you are a freeze/firebird/tesla, those enemies are probably free points, but to every other turret, they are painful meatshields that deter you from hitting actual player targets.
