"needlegun" augment for hammer is the most baffling augment design in the game, IMO.
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in "needlegun" augment for hammer is the most baffling augment design in the game, IMO. Game Discussion
Hammer is a melee turret. What if it wasn't? What if it fired at the speed and range of a shredder vulcan and also had hitscan shots instead of a projectile at cost of reloading? That's needlegun for ya. -
Lmao, for 2990 rubies, and 2 trash augments, thunder and viking should be MK7-20
-
Yeah, I should probably be more optimistic

Honestly, first place sucks 1 random skin that might be ugly and 1 temporary paint that does look ugly Congrats to 2nd and 3rd place since they didn't get garbadge.

The event is great, I like how flexible it is between "pay your way to get more stars" or "grind extra time to it for free", I like that the reward is mostly from participating and less about the winning, good event. Now, on to the bad parts: 1- The fact that you guys forgot to add the information that you can get up to 2 MORE legendary keys on top of the winner one (you needed to capture specific gray areas AND be attacking that area to get it) without giving a warning news or something was plain scummy. 2- not being able to bank your stars kinda sucks, oh oops, I forgot to use my 50 stars yesterday! I'll just use them for today- nvm they're gone... And finally, some things I would suggest: 1- Add a "turret/hull of the day" feature where using a specific turret or hull would increase stars added to war by 50%. The bonus would be additive to the vip and boost, and also give you an option to use something to waste less time. 2- Please do not make legendary containers and a paint the only reward for #1. I think getting some epic and common conts in the mix so that there's some useful conts, and not just a "free random skin that might be ugly and temporary paint"

Potential removal of boosts being consumables, and an alternate downside.
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in Potential removal of boosts being consumables, and an alternate downside. Game Discussion
Boosts.. Long time ago, they came at sparser amounts, you actually had a limit on how much you can use(they came at much more limited amounts), and people would call out who use them "Druggers" and such. Nowadays? It's essential to have them. essential to the point that if you run out of it, well.... time to tickle the enemies for assist points, or to accept instant deaths from all areas even as a heavy hull, or (to a lesser extent) feel like you're as slow as a turtle without them. It feels surreal that, what feels like an essential mechanic, actually has a potential limitation thanks to a long-defunct consumables mind-set, and currently, just feels like an excuse from the devs to fill up your containers with junk that dilute the rates of possible goodies, goodies that are as little as just 1000 diamonds..... Imagine ANY game with a skills mechanic, but to maintain the usage of those skills, you have to open up gacha boxes that give you a limited amount of uses for a single skill, that sounds like an absurd thing, but in tanki, that's basically normal... -
Twins: gunslinger Pros: shot reload time: -60% Projectile speed: +100% energy drain per shot:83.333 (Instead of 1000) Fixed critical chance: 10% Critical damage: +20% Cons: only restores energy when energy drops to 0 on 0: cannot shoot until full again Energy regenerates at the rate of 250/s Tsunami: Sledgehammer Pros: +30% damage +40% damage from bonus damage -20% delay between 1st and 2nd shot Cons: -60% range -60% range highlight Isida: Nanobot network Pros: +5% damage for every isida with this augment on your team(capped at 5) +10% range for every isida with this augment on your team(Capped at 5) -10% energy drain for every isida with this augment on your team(Capped at 5) Isida: Energizing nanobots Pros: Consumes energy to increase ally's rate of fire by 25% +50% energy regen -60% energy drain Cons: -50% healing Drains energy based on turret's speed.

Do you think Legendary containers should always be a side-reward/optional reward instead of a main reward?
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in Do you think Legendary containers should always be a side-reward/optional reward instead of a main reward? Game Discussion
Why? because legendary containers suck, simple. It really feels like the equivalent of a container that gives you exclusively glorified paints and projectile colors. Maybe you'll get something cool, or even 100 rubies if you get a duplicate, but, you will also probably get skins that you won't use until you get a fitting part, well... Guess you'll have to wait until next legendary container...or the other...or the other...or the other... or the- Take this for example: in the war event, some people would actually prefer going for 2nd and even 3rd place, those 15 containers? they might contain something useful, like a good augment! At worst scenario, your consumables supply gets to last you longer without running out of it, or well, something, along with some crappy...paint. Legendary containers? Oh look I got a skin! you know what's the problem? It looks extra ugly because you have no fitting piece to go with it, so you gotta wait out on more legendary conts until it happens! (Or you get lucky with containers which, again, will probably have something very slightly useful in some way along with it). -
For next war, I wanna suggest that you guys allow us to bank stars and use any amount we want of them, would love to pre-grind some of the 50 stars I would want next day in case I got busy

not really, I don't think so atleast

Balance or Destruction? How the 2026 Shaft Nerfs Turned a Sniper into a Broken Tractor
Acecaddy replied to Mr.Blitz in Game Discussion
After trying stell more, I think this is a fair trade off, you can land arcade shots to avoid alerting the enemy that they are at low health, then use stell as a finisher, or just pick off enemies left by teammates. Or just spam scopes and arcades. But this kinda splits me between sbe and stell, one has better quickscopes, the other has better arcade damage, what do you recommend? -
Balance or Destruction? How the 2026 Shaft Nerfs Turned a Sniper into a Broken Tractor
Acecaddy replied to Mr.Blitz in Game Discussion
Im not saying stellarator should be buffed, but I will say that one-shot augments from OTHER turrets against light hulls should be nerfed -
Is it really people's fault that SOMEONE forgot to add in the news on the first day that "first to capture grayed storehouses gets legendary cont out of it" feature? this made alot of people miss out on a legendary cont.

I feel like the universal 20% protection module that disables all other defense modules should be given to everyone post-legand, including starters. it's not as strong as 50% specific modules, but it provides some reduction, which is a good thing, it makes all matches more bearable even to people who weren't there before you decided to increase upgrade prices to ludicrous amounts (at least from what I know).
-
Not from lions, but I do recommend that you check discord since its probably much more active there.
-
I personally think that, unlike both of those, Freeze should be buffed! Being able to turn off enemy's damage and speed boost AND slow their base rotation and movement? That's pretty weak, they should make it so that it also disables their defense boost. barely usable without augments, smh.
-
for example: if you use the yellow color from twins, the Blue energy coloration of the turret and the hull become yellow.
-
Which weapon do you think is the weakest? (Excluding the usage of overpowered augments)
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in Game Discussion
Hey umm I am from the future to tell you that Isida has been nerfed once again despite being unpopular, and is now even weaker. -
Heal augment suggestion for every turret: (All of them have no horizontal aim assist (except for isida), no knockback, and can't crit (except for isida), other cons will be mentioned below). Magnum: nanotech splash: AOE heal from explosion, -75% damage penalty Tsunami: Healing waves+50% bonus damage from 2nd hits, shots and bonus damage heal allies, -50% damage penalty from direct shots. Smokey: repair pellets: shots heal, -30% damage penalty. Scorpion: repair capsules:arcade shots heal, +30% reload time on shots, -20% damage penalty. Gauss: Salvo mode can target and heal allies, -20% arcade and salvo damage, +10% lock-on time, +10% arcade and salvo reload. vulcan: rapid repair bullets: +0 ~ +100% damage bonus the longer the target is being shot without missing, targets are healed, -50% damage penalty (on full bonus from pros it would be like default vulcan damage). Striker: (insert name here):heals from AOE, manual detonation, -30% splash damage, +30% reload time. ricochet: recovery plasma: shots heal, -20% damage, +20% energy consumption per shot, only 1 bounce. Hammer: nano pellets: +1 shot per reload, shooting a teammate consumes shots and heals based on how low their health is, -30% damage penalty, +20% reload duration. Tesla: direct shocks heal, orbs can be collected by teammates to gain a burst of healing, -40% arcade damage, +30% orb reload duration. Firebird and Freeze: repairing breeze: effected teammates gain "repairing status", duration gained works in a similar way to how you inflict status to an enemy, +40% energy drain OR -30% status per tick. Isida: full-on repair nanobots*: -60% energy drain, +50% normal and crit healing bonus, can't attack enemy tanks, max crit chance: 1%.

valid Can the "promocode" section be moved from the shop to the settings menu?
Acecaddy replied to Acecaddy in Can the "promocode" section be moved from the shop to the settings menu? Ideas and Suggestions
That kinda makes more sense IMO, why create a whole tab in the shop just for the promocode? the settings is a more fitting place, maybe include a "log" for all claimed promo codes -
or not, perhaps that might encourage less people to be lazy Don't want that shaftlaw incident happing to any of the three
-
They should remove the Energy and its regen mechanic, and force isida to use its health to attack and heal instead.
-
Imagine if it halved how much status per tick do they give, at cost apply "repairing" status ticks to teammates that would be silly, I don't know how the points system will work with it though. Honestly I don't mind it anymore. It's not like isida is functional without Vampire augment now anyways.
-
Alright, do not make it infinite, either buff the healing OR buff the energy regen. Honestly though, does it really matter nowadays? These days, a lot of the matches have people using augments that melt through enemy health like a hot knife melts through butter, just saying.
