    I agree, can we have a couple of shot effects every now and then in Challenges? Other than that, I like this format since it's really easy to reach the end of each Challenge.

    You will be able to find the Prime Skin set for Building Blocks in containers and the Ultra Skin set for Building Blocks in Ultra containers. But don't worry, in the near future, a Legacy Skin set for Building Blocks will be available in the Shop for only 8000 Tankoins each.

    Agree 100%. At first I did not think Hopper was going to be this broken, but I was wrong. I am afraid that no amount of nerfs will be able to truly balance this hull, since it's broken at a fundamental level. Either it gets nerfed to the ground and becomes useless, or it will stay as it is, breaking every game mode it plays in.

    I agree with this, I am playing with Twins (14/20) and mk8 Viking + heavyweight augment and I am wiping the floor with anyone who does not have at least 40%+ prot. Also, team Jug mode is unplayable (for the poor Jug drivers)

  8. The problem is not the health in itself, but in the combined power of drones, supplies and protection modules. As I said, the Devs changed one parameter while completely ignoring the rest. Just like when they introduced Magnum and Hopper. Some maps just do not work with them. What kind of results do they expect to get? What data? You can't change one thing if everything else is so messed up, it's unprofessional and a waste of time... for them and for us. Today I played some assault. 3 battles. and I gave up halfway in by just sitting in a corner. Why? Mk8 Hoppers with defender and 50% prot. What am I supposed to do, tickle them? I can't even stop them with my hull since Hoppers can just fly through your tank and not give a damn. So we have 5 minutes battles that are decided in 30 seconds by the equipment of the players alone, there is no skill or strategy required. The only thing that truly matters is how much money you wasted in this game.

    Exactly, Assault was imbalanced before, being way too hard to attack. Now it's the exact opposite.

    Honestly, the game balance is an absolute mess. You can't make an experiment like this out of the blue without any testing beforehand. Just like I thought, Light hulls (especially hoppers) with defender are extremely OP and can capture flags and points like there's no tomorrow. In the last battle I was defending in Assault and this Hopper Mk8 with defender just came in, jumped and captured every time without even shooting back. A good thing to do, and I am quite a seasoned player I think, would be to increase hull health by 50% instead of doubling it. Then nerfing every OD and making them more tactical instead of a NUKE button. Also, some drones need reworking to make them less impactful on the battle (defender, booster, you know those ones). And, something that would actually be good, IMHO, would be to decrease every protection module to 30% MAX but to increase the protection slots to 5. This would limit the frustration when you face someone with 50% prot, and would still allow you to make an impact on the battle. Turrets like Thunder would actually be playable again...

    I'm pretty sure that, personally, I will like the changes, mostly because I prefer smaller maps and an aggressive "in your face" playstyle. The only thing I am not sure about is the 6v6 mode, but we'll see. Also, about this: "the amount of energy for some turrets (Firebird, Isida, Freeze, Ricochet, and Twins) will be doubled." That means that those turrets will get more energy to compensate the increase of HP, alright. But Twins? What does that mean?

    Some of them are extremely low poly (like Smoky, Wasp, and most of the ex Tier 1 equipment. However, I can totally see an LC Freeze or LC Shaft being brought back.

    With 6v6 battles individual contribution will matter more. And this will mostly be a BAD thing. Why? Because if you get a weak player in your team, you are at a big disadvantage, if you get two, you might as well quit the battle and find another one. This will then lead to one team completely dominating the other that has 3 or 4 players. This problem is already present when in a battle filled with 9000GS players you get one that for some reason has decided thay playing with 5000GS in a legend battle was a good idea, but with the "experiment" this issue will only get worse. The same can be said if an extreme buyer (or a squad of 2!) joins the battle; combined with the increased HP, he will be able to roflstomp the other team, that will have no way to stop him from capturing flags or points.
  18. I wonder when will Smoky get the same treatment that Thunder got. And by treatment I mean the removal of the instant projectle. Years have passed since that change, yet Smoky users are still free to roam around the map with Autocannon and a brick on the keyboard, while us Thunder players got shafted. Between damage dropoff, self damage, projectile speed and 50% Modules everywhere, playing Thunder has become a chore. Also, it's infuriating how the shells impact against any damn teammate they can find, if anyone of your team crosses in front of you, even at medium distance, your shots will hit them instead of the target. Of course, Railgun and Smoky can shoot through anything with no issue. ______________ Those turrets are used less then long range guns, but I still see them regularly. The only one that's quite rare is Isida, especially for healing... no one uses Isida for healing anymore. Also, I feel like people are sleeping on Twins, I rarely see anyone with a protection against it, and with plasma accelerators that thing is a beast.

    Right, it looks like I did read the description of the update wrongly. I thought after the update, hornet would give allies the AP effect, but not get it itself. Actually, indeed it will be like it's now, it will only apply the AP effect to the visible enemy tanks. Seems right.

    I like the new format, since it's easier to complete a challenge, however I doubt it will last long, it seems too good to be true. (like when you could get XT skins on free track) By the way, since I haven't played much, do you guys know if the Scout Alt for Rail has ever been in a challenge?

    I don't know about that. The other day I tested M4 Rail with Scout and even with 50% prots everywhere I wrecked people left and right without much problems. I feel like Scout is more suited for dynamic players and for an aggressive playstyle, while LCR is more for peekaboo shooting and for providing support from the back. Also, I am noticing that most 9999GS Legends that play really well all use Scout... that must mean a thing or two.

    I was thinking of getting LCR soon, but I just tried the Scout augment (on the Test server) and it seems to be way better. LCR suffers a lot from the Rail protection everybody wears, while with Scout you can just spam shots left and right and be extremely more dynamic and flexible. What do you guys think, what would you get between LCR and Scout? (I am talking about a M4 Rail btw)
