Well, it's kind of understandable, because the people who complained most likely had 10-20 accounts, where they collected the daily gift on all of them and used a different account every day to spend the supplies they accumulated from the gifts. But it wasn't fair to the legitimate players with one or two accounts, who played actively and couldn't compete against the multi-account druggers because the single daily gift didn't give anywhere near enough supplies. So it was a fair change that rewarded active players.
-
Remember when they added daily missions and people wanted the daily gift back? Even though the gift gave 2x lower rewards?

I guarantee you that a lot of the great ideas here were seen multiple time by multiple developers. They may not be directly saying "great idea, we'll start working on it now!", but they do take our feedback and ideas into account and incorporate them into their decision making. In case of Kick2, they made it so that standard battles no longer need such a feature, because battles are short and automatically matched, and the reward is based more on individual performance, than team result. So even if you do get a saboteur, you don't actually lose much.

Speaking of challenges, it seems like devs plan to make them a regular thing, where there's almost always a challenge going on at any time. So with that in mind, the extra rewards from challenges will probably offset the potential lost rewards from the 3 normal containers. And what's better - you know exactly what you'll get from a challenge, as opposed to the completely random nature of containers. Obviously you won't luck out and find 300k or a million crystals, but let's face it - those rewards are so rare that it's not even worth considering them.

Notice how in my post I never disagreed with you. I just said that regardless of whether or not developers benefit from there being less Isidas, players benefit from it too because of higher battle funds. And no, I don't get rewards for being on their side. As for changing the items you bought - that's just how the game works. Things need to be updated and rebalanced all the time, so no matter what you buy, you can expect that item to be changed any day. It's in the game's EULA, which we all agreed to.
-
Yeah, you're somewhat right. I do tend to usually use the most OP turrets and alterations that exist in the game. But who doesn't?
-
Actually, Isidas are bad for players too. If tanks don't die as quickly due to being healed, the battle fund grows slower and therefore everyone gets less crystals at the end of the battle. Less Isidas = higher rewards.

Missions got changed a lot in the past 2 years. At first we had no mission chains at all. Then mission chains got added. Then chain rewards got increased 3x for the duration of summer, which ended up getting extended to almost 8 months. Then rewards went back to 2x the normal amount, and 3 containers were added, then 3 containers turned into 4. Then it got changed to the 10-week chain system and finally to the weekly missions system. So it greatly depends on what you compare it to. Having this is obviously better than having no weekly rewards at all, and it's also better than the initial chain rewards (though you do need to work more to get them). It probably isn't better than the 3x rewards or what we have right now, but I always thought that those rewards were really generous so let's just say - it was fun while it lasted.

You should watch your distance more carefully. I'd recommend using a faster hull so that enemies can't drive up to you and push against you. Also make sure you use a Thunder module.

Ever since magnum got the nerf back in October, I stopped using Magnum protection. I used to have it almost all the time, but since October I think I only used it in a couple games. Magnum is pretty weak now and not many players seem to use it. There are many players who adapted to the slow rockets so much that it's barely an issue for them. I think this was a necessary change and I'm not even sure if it's enough. Doesn't seem like much. Don't forget that this is only a nerf for the one alteration. So you can either have a slow long range Thunder, or a fast short range one. I think it should be fairly balanced. MM maps are all supposed to be similar in size, so that every turret will be playable on every map. yes, Highways is a long range map and I have no idea why it was added to MM in the first place, but at least this change should make it a bit better for MM maps.

Well, a lot of important changes here. Duplet, Sledgehammer and Uranium alts' nerf is good, even though it does mean I can no longer enjoy easily getting 50 kills in every DM battle  Those alts are extremely OP, and I'm honestly not sure if this nerf will make them that much more balanced. Will test tomorrow. Magnum and Shaft reload buffs are good - I avoided playing with them due to the long reload times before, but I might get back into it now. Isida changes are interesting. The nerf seems pretty huge, so I guess Hazel really wants to get rid of those indestructible Isida trains in team battles. This should do the trick (unless they all start using the support alt). I love playing the attack role with Isida, especially with the new instant reload alt, so that should be fun after the update. Now, as for the missions - obviously the change is bad for those wanting to get special paints and other cosmetics, but it's good for higher ranks and peope who don't care about fancy paints, since the rewards from containers will now be more stable. Getting 60 of every supply (20 RK and 10 batteries) is better than getting 125 speed boosts or mines half the time and only occasionally being blessed with a non-common reward. Highways change sounds good, though I feel like the whole map simply doesn't belong in MM.

Because... you have the most posts? Although if you and BlueDragon_tamki would like to volunteer to get your post counts cleared and let me have the record - I don't mind
-
^ This. Don't ask me why he did it.
-
Not particularly interesting, since it's a developer account and it's inactive. That's why we only have the "oldest active player" record. Besides, for individual records the person needs to apply for themselves.

Yeah - the end of the challenge

Unfortunately you still have a long way to go. Not only do you need to become Warrant Officer 1, but you also need to get at least 6750 kills in order to beat the current record. We do not accept "infinite K/D". If you have no deaths, we assume the number of deaths to be 1.
-
In this particular case: "Aigaion's Alliterations"
-
At this point everyone should be used to the fact that balance changes happen and an item that's currently OP may be nerfed at any moment.

At least you don't have to MU Miner as much to get enough benefit from it (though it still takes 1 battery per minute). If you play normally you might place 10-15 mines in one battle, so that's only 200k to upgrade it to 9 steps which is significantly cheaper than getting a full MU drone. Actually, to get the most out of a fully upgraded Miner, you would either have to play in a long PRO battle with drones, or repeatedly self-destruct in an MM battle in order to place a mine, die, respawn and repeat.

Strange that you're talking about FPS, since it should be the same in all versions of the game, regardless of location. Only ping should be affected by server location. As for the SEA tanki activity, well... press F to pay respects. Edit: OKAY OKAY guys, "press F to pay respects" was rhetorical. I didn't ask you to literally spam the whole topic with "F". I appreciate your engagement with the meme, but forum rules are still rules

Valid I absolutely agree. It's not just Assault suffering from this, but also CTF and RGB, where a couple defenders with Saboteur can block the exists and make the base practically unreachable. The only way to fight it is to try and take out the defence with Magnum/Shaft, use your own drone for counter-measures (e.g. Defender) and/or take Spider module. Just played an RGB game on Wolfenstein and while the two teams were fighting in the middle, one guy in the enemy team mined both entrances to the base. He placed 4 mines (2 at each ramp) and the result is 18 mines at every entrance, which are impossible to avoid and nearly impossible to brute-force on their own, let alone if everyone is also shooting at you. It's not the game mode or the mines which are unbalanced - it's the drone. I personally think that all the extra mines from Saboteur need to disappear after 1 minute.
-
Not accepted, since it happened due to the server restart occurring at the beginning of a battle. This happens in multiple battles every day, and I'm sure a lot of them end with 0 stars.
-
Does any activity happen in game chats or elsewhere in the community? Could be that all the battles are at other ranks.
-
Umm, that's a bit too much, don't you think?
