    New Alt?

OK, thanks for the clarification. It appears that this is an error on the developers' part and they simply forgot to remove that alteration from the rank-up unlocks pop-up, when releasing the new alterations. This alteration was meant to be added too, but I guess they changed their mind for whatever reason and decided to withdraw it. We'll report this error to devs. Closed.
  2. Despite developers literally saying that the clan system is not finished and will be updated in the "near future", after it was released. Oh well, guess their plans changed...

    Get rid of invisible mines

Valid As far as I know, seeing mines is not included in Hornet's ability, but it's a good idea. Mines are really annoying and the two mine drones ruin game balance in team battles. Something needs to be done.

    New Alt?

Are you saying that it's available on that account and you can purchase it? I'm not entirely sure where exactly in the garage you saw that picture.

    Tanki World Records

Or rather, not particularly interesting. Each turret or hull has a specific type of gameplay, so it's not common to have a player use only one hull and only one turret and build up a lot of hours with it. While with paints - it doesn't matter which paint you have equipped since it doesn't affect gameplay, so it's easy to always use the same paint. For that we have the "Most total hours" record. Now that I think if this, perhaps we should have two more records for "Highest difference hours difference between first and second turret/hull"? This would be specifically for hardcore fans of a certain combo, who have thousands of hours played with one particular turret and almost none with everything else.

Just to clarify - you can apply during double battle funds, but your reward will be divided by two and then considered.
  7. Definitely because of the upgraded anti-cheat. Back in 2012 we had extreme hacks like teleporting around, infinite ammo, invincibility, instant reload and killing all players in the battle with a single shot. Nowadays the only hacks we occasionally see is jump hack and very subtle speedhack. Neither of these things have particularly serious impart on the gameplay, compared to the 2012 situation.

50 kills in DM with Railgun. I feel like there's a record in there somewhere :D

Oh yeah, speaking of which... I'm gonna go ahead and take both JGR records, since I have more than the current record holder.

    Let's Discuss Augments

I'm not sure where your logic comes from, but I do agree that Sledgehammer alt is far superior to stock Thunder in every way, albeit my reasoning is different. Yes, with the alt you get much faster damage drop-off and at medium to long range you're dealing just 50% of the damage. But there are two very important points here: Tanki maps are fairly small, and most of the fights happen at medium and close range. If you treat your Thunder like a Hammer or Twins and simply ignore far away targets, the reduced range won't even be noticeable. The reload speed increase is 40%. FORTY PERCENT! That's close to twice as fast, so even if you're dealing 50% of the damage (at long range), you are shooting almost twice as fast and therefore the damage is almost the same. But at close range you literally just have a stock Thunder with much faster firing rate. And another important point is that the faster you fire, the less significant each shot is, meaning that a missed shot when you're shooting quickly won't be as big of a deal compared to missing a shot when you have a longer reload. Compare missing with Twins or Rico to missing with Railgun or Shaft. So yeah, Sledgehammer may not be particularly OP (although that's arguable), but it is undeniably better than stock Thunder, which is not how alterations are supposed to work. It's like the situation with Twins, where the stock version is much worse than any of the alts.

    Let's Discuss Augments

Bought Death Herald for Railgun yesterday and man, it is SO much fun. Combined with booster you can one-shot even heavy hulls if they don't have DA or Railgun protection, so if you get lucky, you can rapid-fire 4 or 5 shots and get as many kills. I thought Rail was terrible for DM and it was rare to see one take first place, yet I just got first about 10 battles in a row.
  12. Nowadays if you think you're seeing a "hack", just assume that it's either an alteration, a drone, or (soon) an overdrive, because that's the most likely explanation

    Ideas for Game Modes!

We had this idea before. As you might imagine, there's very little chance of it happening since it would involve: Adding a whole new interface for turret selection Making the visual models of these turrets Programming the technical aspects of the turret Loads and loads of testing and bug fixing Balance analysis and adjustments And all that for just a single F2P tank that's only played by a one person at a time in just one game mode, which is already very unpopular. Complete waste of time from a business point of view.

    Important changes to the game

I hardly see any difference. They just turned the middle houses 90 degrees and shortened the map by a few prop lengths.

    Important changes to the game

I'm talking about way back in 2014, I think, when we only had the daily gift, and the complaints were about daily missions replacing the gifts.
  16. Maf

    Important changes to the game

Well, it's kind of understandable, because the people who complained most likely had 10-20 accounts, where they collected the daily gift on all of them and used a different account every day to spend the supplies they accumulated from the gifts. But it wasn't fair to the legitimate players with one or two accounts, who played actively and couldn't compete against the multi-account druggers because the single daily gift didn't give anywhere near enough supplies. So it was a fair change that rewarded active players.

Remember when they added daily missions and people wanted the daily gift back? Even though the gift gave 2x lower rewards?

    Exactly how TO will die

I guarantee you that a lot of the great ideas here were seen multiple time by multiple developers. They may not be directly saying "great idea, we'll start working on it now!", but they do take our feedback and ideas into account and incorporate them into their decision making. In case of Kick2, they made it so that standard battles no longer need such a feature, because battles are short and automatically matched, and the reward is based more on individual performance, than team result. So even if you do get a saboteur, you don't actually lose much.

    Important changes to the game

Speaking of challenges, it seems like devs plan to make them a regular thing, where there's almost always a challenge going on at any time. So with that in mind, the extra rewards from challenges will probably offset the potential lost rewards from the 3 normal containers. And what's better - you know exactly what you'll get from a challenge, as opposed to the completely random nature of containers. Obviously you won't luck out and find 300k or a million crystals, but let's face it - those rewards are so rare that it's not even worth considering them.

    Important changes to the game

Notice how in my post I never disagreed with you. I just said that regardless of whether or not developers benefit from there being less Isidas, players benefit from it too because of higher battle funds. And no, I don't get rewards for being on their side. As for changing the items you bought - that's just how the game works. Things need to be updated and rebalanced all the time, so no matter what you buy, you can expect that item to be changed any day. It's in the game's EULA, which we all agreed to.

    Important changes to the game

Yeah, you're somewhat right. I do tend to usually use the most OP turrets and alterations that exist in the game. But who doesn't?
  22. Maf

    Important changes to the game

Actually, Isidas are bad for players too. If tanks don't die as quickly due to being healed, the battle fund grows slower and therefore everyone gets less crystals at the end of the battle. Less Isidas = higher rewards.

    Important changes to the game

Missions got changed a lot in the past 2 years. At first we had no mission chains at all. Then mission chains got added. Then chain rewards got increased 3x for the duration of summer, which ended up getting extended to almost 8 months. Then rewards went back to 2x the normal amount, and 3 containers were added, then 3 containers turned into 4. Then it got changed to the 10-week chain system and finally to the weekly missions system. So it greatly depends on what you compare it to. Having this is obviously better than having no weekly rewards at all, and it's also better than the initial chain rewards (though you do need to work more to get them). It probably isn't better than the 3x rewards or what we have right now, but I always thought that those rewards were really generous so let's just say - it was fun while it lasted.

You should watch your distance more carefully. I'd recommend using a faster hull so that enemies can't drive up to you and push against you. Also make sure you use a Thunder module.

    Important changes to the game

Ever since magnum got the nerf back in October, I stopped using Magnum protection. I used to have it almost all the time, but since October I think I only used it in a couple games. Magnum is pretty weak now and not many players seem to use it. There are many players who adapted to the slow rockets so much that it's barely an issue for them. I think this was a necessary change and I'm not even sure if it's enough. Doesn't seem like much. Don't forget that this is only a nerf for the one alteration. So you can either have a slow long range Thunder, or a fast short range one. I think it should be fairly balanced. MM maps are all supposed to be similar in size, so that every turret will be playable on every map. yes, Highways is a long range map and I have no idea why it was added to MM in the first place, but at least this change should make it a bit better for MM maps.
