Thing is, for humans living conditions now are so much better than they were hundreds of years ago, even if you take into account all the wars, poverty and disease. Think about it - in medieval times you had to work every day for hours upon hours just to get food on your table, you could get attacked and killed by enemy tribes/clans at any time, you could die from a common cold, etc. Nowadays, while the world is obviously not a utopia, living conditions are nonetheless paradise compared to life before. And as for a nuclear war - it won't be the end of the world. It would most likely be the end of the human race, but for the planet as a whole it would just be another extinction event. Yes, a lot of species will die, but a lot of new ones will emerge, ones that can adapt to the new living conditions (radiation, smog, low temperatures, etc.) and the planet will live on.

Terrible tragedy. It sucks that things like this keep happening over and over again even though they could be prevented by simple methods such as fire drill draining.

Under review Valid I dislike the idea. Overdrive is one of the things that's meant to make the game more balanced by giving players an ability that they can use for free. By giving that ability paid upgrades you are turning it into yet another P2W feature, which will make it harder for free players to compete against buyers.

Fully agree with you. I would love to play with Striker more since it's an interesting turret, but I can't because it has such annoying parameters, such as the long lock-on time, no indication of which side will fire next, the exposing laser, and inability to shoot a volley of less than 4 rockets.

It's a valid argument, but I don't really see a problem with the forum being unpopular. As much as I would love to have more people here, making the forum more popular just doesn't really do anything for developers or players. It's not as important as, say, raising awareness about the information on the Help site or other important data. Not to mention that there are tons of more valuable updates that we would all prefer to see implemented in the game, instead of an in-game forum feature with potential bugs and limited functionality. Changed idea status btw.

True, Striker is much, much weaker compared to Magnum. I asked Hazel about it a while ago and he said that Striker is a much more difficult turret and it IS possible to use it effectively, so he won't buff it because it will make striker too OP when used by those, who are experienced with it. But I personally disagree with this.

That's just one map that's not even in the main battle list. I know that Noise used to be a popular map and all (I liked it a lot too), but it's not really an argument.

Valid Forums are generally less active communication platforms than the game itself. It doesn't matter how much it's advertised and stuffed into players' faces - the vast majority will never be interested because text-based discussions are just not their thing. A lot of players come to play only and don't even use the chat, while some use the chat but can't be bothered to read and write walls of text on the forum.

I merged your two ideas together as they both have a very similar final goal. Also, both ideas will most likely become completed/invalid once Matchmaking is fully released, since, as I'm sure you know, the battles will be created with a minimal rank bracket and expanded only if there aren't enough players to fill it quickly.

But isn't that balanced? If there's 13 turrets and 20 players, then that's exactly what you would expect if the balance was perfect - one or two of each turret in every battle.

To be honest, I see a lot less Magnums now than I did 7-8 months ago. Seems like the novelty wore off and people realised that Magnum is quite hard to use and other turrets are easier and more fun. And on maps where Magnum rules there's usually tons of protection modules and it's not that effective anyway. So in the end I'm not sure if it needs a nerf at all.
