I partially disagree with that logic. Overdrives are not so powerful that is would make a massive difference when you use 3 overdrives in a battle instead of 2. But keeping one overdrive and using it at precisely the right moment can often be better than using 3 overdrives and the soonest opportunity (e.g. next to another teammate right after respawn). This mostly applies to CTF, while for other game modes I agree that holding on to overdrives for longer than a minute is a waste.

valid Option to have all in-game information shown as numbers
Maf replied to CabbageRoll in Ideas and Suggestions
But 1 or 50 is such a small amount of health that it's pretty safe to assume that you won't survive the next accurate shot at your tank. I just don't think details like that will help, no matter how "nerdy" or professional you consider yourself to be. -
1. This bug has dozens of different causes and it's extremely difficult to find and fix them all. It's not a single bug that needs a single fix - it's an error message shown for a whole bunch of errors that all require a different approach to fix them. 2. Semyon Kirov was a community manager who does not participate in fixing/updating the game. His presence would not affect the process of fixing errors.

Valid Lower healing rate when Isida heals another Isida
Maf replied to BlackWasp777 in Ideas and Suggestions
Well yeah. If a Shaft deals 3000+ damage to a Viking Isida, it will die no matter how many other Isidas are healing it at that moment. -
A day? More like 5 seconds :D

But how can you be sure that they are Russian?

I just love the EN community. I watched the RU V-log and the comments there are full of "I'm quitting tanki" and "#BringBackRepairKit" and similar stuff. People are proudly announcing in the comments that they are disliking the video without even watching it. Fortunately everything seems to be much better here and people actually try to understand developers' logic regarding the necessity for these updates. Keep it up guys :)

Valid Lower healing rate when Isida heals another Isida
Maf replied to BlackWasp777 in Ideas and Suggestions
This is mostly about CTF and CP. DM is completely irrelevant here since the idea concerns healing. And yes, the M2 alteration is useless in DM - this is not a bug or problem of any sort. True, but 20 seconds of healing using Isida M4 with support nanobots and DD results in 30400 HP. That's how much health the Isidas can give each other with a single energy tank while they attack. 1520 HP regeneration PER SECOND. That sounds extremely OP. -

What if I told you that you don't need to damage enemies to steal a flag? -

If one team can all use Isidas then the other team can also all use Isidas. Result: Isidas everywhere -_- -

Yeah, even two Viking Isidas with support nanobots will basically have 20 seconds of non-stop invulnerability by healing each other. That combined with repair kits and overdrives results in an indestructible combo for flag stealing. -
Can't disagree with that :D

valid Option to have all in-game information shown as numbers
Maf replied to CabbageRoll in Ideas and Suggestions
Valid I guess it's possible as an option for custom battles, but I don't see how it would ever help to make the information on the interface less user-friendly and harder to read. Tanki is just not the kind of game that could use this option. -
I disagree. There's a very specific strategy for the Overdrive. In DM it's pretty simple - you first use supplies and you activate overdrive when the supplies start to wear off. In TDM and CP it's a bit more complicated - it's best to use Overdrive next to at least two other teammates who are low on health and their supplies are running out. But in CTF the overdrive is an extremely powerful weapon for capturing the flag, especially since it's nearly impossible to attack, steal the flag and get back to base before your supplies run out (i.e. in 30 seconds). The ideal use of overdrive is when you see your teammate running away with the flag, so you drive up to them, use the overdrive to give them a boost and follow them back to base. If you used your overdrive and didn't save it for the right moment, the chance of capturing will be much lower.

Power-levelling (playing for the sole purpose of getting experience quickly) is against the rules and you can get banned for it if caught. Besides that, we do not allow creation of topics about specific players (e.g. yourself). If you want people to play against you, you can check out the Duelists section and make a topic there. Closed.

Hi. Gold boxes (as well as supply boxes) are actually holograms with a tiny microchip inside that displays a 3D image of a box around it. Once it registers a tank interfering with the image, it makes a sound effect with a small built-in speaker, boosts upwards and does a "white fadeout" animation on the 3D hologram. At the same time it contacts the control centre with the tank's ID and 1000 crystals are added to the tank owner's account. The chip itself then falls on the ground and disintigrates. The parachute itself is made with a unique fabric exclusively manufactured for this purpose, consisting of 10D sturdy Nylon 6.6 with only 22 g/m² weight, and extremely light, yet high tensile Dyneema lines and ribbons. The result is an ultra-light parachute that is sturdy, yet literally dissolves in the air once the payload has been delivered due to a chemical reaction triggered by a microchip signal.

Valid Buying items for other players as gifts (for money only)

I don't get what you mean by that. Who sells gifts and to whom? -
Valid Buying items for other players as gifts (for money only)
Maf replied to Crip in Ideas and Suggestions
Well, it's basically the same thing, right? You buy a promo code and send it to another player as a gift so that they can use it. Same as simply buying something for them directly. Or am I missing something? -

You know, after playing for a while I realised that the claims that many players don't know how to use may not be all true. When I was playing I didn't activate Overdrive as soon as it became available - I waited for a good opportunity, since it's such a rare resource. I also didn't activate it when there was just one player next to me clearly wanting me to do it. It just wasn't worth it. So sometimes I'd wait for 2-3 minutes before using it at the right time. Some players also prefer to keep it to use only when a gold box drops, which is a rather selfish, but nonetheless sensible tactic. So with that in mind, it seems that most players complaining about others not using overdrive are just not looking at the whole picture and aren't considering the position of the player who has an overdrive. And the amount of players who actually don't know how to use it is minimal.
