  1. Difference between buying Premium and power-levelling is that the former actually brings revenue to Tanki in exchange for the player's convenience. The latter is just an exploit that players use to maximise their crystal and EXP income with no benefit to developers, while honest players struggle to do the same in normal battles.
  2. They paid for it and they deserve it. Premium is something that's there to give players ability to save time in exchange for money. They buy premium and spend less time "grinding". It doesn't affect you, so everything is fair.
  3. For that it's better to use the Complaint Book, because this topic is for discussion of update 469. Any other comments here are technically off-topic.
  4. Wait, so you started writing a complaint, realised that there's nothing to complain about and decided to complain about previous updates instead? OK...

Drive down the LEFT side please

Moved from Ideas and Suggestions There's not much developers can do about this and I doubt that players will ever need to get a tank driving licence before being allowed to play. But this is an interesting topic to discuss :P

    Ideas for Game Modes!

Topic merged You're using bright colours again. Please use the default gray for the main text of your post, since a massive text with white font is really hard to read.

I don't think there ever was one. Unless they made it recently.
  8. That it true. Missions are still very possible to abuse. The matchmaking system will fix this issue and everyone will be completing them fair. Cheaters? You mean hackers? If that's what you mean, then yes - they will always be here. Devs said it themselves multiple times - they keep updating the anti-cheat but hack producers keep finding new loopholes to get through. It's a never-ending battle. Like I said in my previous post, many updates will inevitably be "bad" for you because they are meant to improve Tanki for another type of players (e.g. buyers or newbies). Those updates are never bad enough to make the game impossible to play, so everyone should be able to endure them. But if you can't, then no one will stop you from finding a more suitable game to play. No, I get crystals and some extra bonuses. But I don't get it specifically for praising developers on every update. And by the way, I would have gladly continued to do it even if all the crystal and other bonuses were removed because I simply like this job. Otherwise why would I apply in the first place?
  9. I played this game for 6 years and have experienced most of the stages of development first hand. I've been here when battles included ranks from sergeant to marshal and lieutenants had M3s. I've been in drug wars where you try your best to take the lead for hours only to be dominated by some clan in the end. being left with nothing. I experienced it all first-hand, so I'm pretty sure I know enough to be able to tell good updates from bad ones. The reason you don't see me blindly hating this update like a lot of people here is because I consider all parties when judging an update: the developers, the players, the newbies, the pros, the buyers, the free players, etc. I know that every update is made to benefit some of those parties while inevitably being a disadvantage for others. But that's just how game development works - you can't make everybody happy at once. I get why players hate the missions update - devs took away the ability to easily farm crystals and supplies without wasting your own supplies and, in some cases, with minimal time spent (e.g. 1 kill battles to get first place). Sure, the update wasn't perfect because it also made missions inconvenient for honest players who play exclusively "real" PRO battles (like the ones on Serpuhov, or formats), but nevertheless it was a necessary change because players were getting rewards far too easily, and the idea of missions as challenging side quests was obsolete. So yes, that update was bad for a lot of players, but it was a benefit to developers, as well as honest players who didn't know about the mission exploits and struggled to complete their missions in normal battles. This is the last thing I will say here about the missions update. This topic is not about that. When it comes to this particular update, I see absolutely no reason to complain about anything, other than for hardcore druggers to complain about their beloved repair kit no longer making them indestructible and powerful compared to free players. And FYI, I don't always support the updates. I know it's hard to look through 13k posts, but on numerous occasions I (and some other helpers) publicly expressed criticism regarding certain changes. And no, we don't get paid to praise developers. That's what I'm telling you. Whether or not you want to believe it is none of my concern.
  10. I don't understand your logic. I am one of those Legend M4s on this rank. And even though I admit that I didn't get a chance to test this update, I've been playing quite a lot in the past few months (on this account as well as some noob accounts that don't have supplies or OP equipment) and I can confirm that with every update the game gets better and better. Sure, some updates don't benefit free players and remove some exploits that were there before (like daily missions in PRO battles), but overall it's a positive change. And pssst:
  11. True. And any good reward requires a lot of work to be done to get it. That's why missions were removed from PRO - to eliminate any possibility of abuse to get easy rewards.
  12. Why would they want do that? Nothing about CAPTCHA in the patch notes.
  13. There already is a private chat system. Anyway, I don't know any details. I just know what was said in the streams and V-logs: the chat will be united but it will be changed in a way to still make it convenient to use.
  14. The fact that it's separates into 24 chats and spread across 24 servers.

He already got punished for his insults. But him insulting you is not an excuse for you to do the same.
  16. Wait, DR is a thing? :o (jk, good changes)
  17. Mhm. That's called lag-switching and is very closely related to bug exploiting. Expect a ban soon
  18. There's a difference between asking for a brand new feature to be added permanently (Overdrives) and asking to revert an update that was necessary to fix the game's economy (missions). The first one was a choice and devs decided to add it back based on popular demand, but the second one was necessary and won't be reverted regardless of how much players demand it..

    Good Bye Topic

Naaaah, if you announce that you're leaving then you should leave for good. I despise players who create a ton of drama by posting a leaving topic and farm up a ton of likes and sad goodbye posts only to come back a week/month later. As for the topic, there's a few people who actually left for good and whom I miss quite a lot, but apart from all my good colleagues that used to be helpers here (DS, Issho, etc.), I want to mention one player that left who was never any kind of big personality on the forum but nevertheless was one of my first friends on the forum long before I was forum mod: @jazz20 AFAIK, he's in China now and can't access Tanki, or perhaps he just left the game for good. Either way, I miss him.
