Sorry M8. 136 for Isida and 150 for Mammoth :D http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/maf/

Actually, we're gonna be extremely sad, angry, annoyed and miserable about it. But we'll accept it anyway.

By the way, forgot to mention something: There's actually two Russian novels written about Tanki, both of which describing how these tanks and battles came into existence. It is, indeed, set in a dystopian future, so you're really not far off. I talked about it in this topic. The idea is that the world is falling apart due to energy wars over this new rare source of fuel called "Energo", which exists in copious amounts on the moon and is extremely hard to mine. So the stuff that did get mined and ended up on Earth exists in the form of crystals and was being fought over. For some reason the war ended and a whole bunch of new generation tanks, which were being used in the war, are now collecting dust in old garages and scrapyards. But since the war destroyed much of popular culture and turned civilised cities into chaos, people started looking for new ways to entertain themselves and gain income, since many were in a desperate situation. So then came the idea of using these old tanks to fight in closed arenas as a kind of "gladiator fight". The winner got energy crystals as reward and the losers went away to fix up their tanks. So yes, Roman gladiators, Hunger games, enclosed arenas, high stakes, etc. You were really close. Although worth noting that this is just a book written by an independent author, who has nothing to do with AlternativaPlatform and development of Tanki. In reality, this game doesn't have any official lore and Hazel himself said that he finds the theory of gladiator battles hard to believe (he posted about it in the same topic that I linked above).

Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes

No, I agree with you. And devs said it too, that funds and experience in TDM is lower due to the absence of "additional" sources like points and flags. I think it was in one of the TX developer diaries. Also, I think TX already has some kind of system to make TDM mode more preferable, so it's possible that the same thing will be implemented in TO.

[frnd] This is true. Not that big of a problem, but a few players are affected by it. They should make it so that adding a player to the chat block list will also prevent them from sending you requests and gifts, as well as hide all their chat messages.

Valid Buying items for other players as gifts (for money only)
Maf replied to Crip in Ideas and Suggestions
I just realised that if this were to be implemented, I'd be the first to receive an M3 mammoth isida from someone  pls no... -
Topic merged I'm not too sure about Mammoth being OP. Of course it's better on small maps and in DM/TDM modes, but in CTF and on large CP maps a skilled light hull is easily able to dominate everyone else and be the MVP. So I think it's just a case of light hulls being harder to use that makes them seem weaker.

Well, if you think about it, based on plain value of the supplies you use, a lot more crystals get used as supplies in 15 minutes than the actual crystals you earn afterwards. I suppose you could argue that you get supplies for free from missions, so there is no "crystal equivalent" for them, but that's not the point. My point is that there should be paid battles where you pay crystals in order to have infinite supplies. The actual price is negotiable.
-
It is, but not all the way. And since there are more steps in M1, each individual step will be cheaper, meaning that players will be even more confused because it will seem like MUs for M1 are cheaper, when they are actually twice as expensive in the end.

I did merge it. See above. I only included one line in the quote to avoid overquoting. The only purpose of the quote is to give you a notification.

Well no, cooldowns and smart cooldowns are still a thing. When everyone has infinite supplies, the factor that decides victory becomes the player's personal skill in activating supplies and efficiently combining them with drops, rather than a simple case of "I bought more supplies so I win".

Topic merged I doubt this will happen. From what I understand, all of the biggest clans (including AK) were given an opportunity to create a clan with their relevant tag and name. Your clan refused the offer, so you just missed your chance. I doubt devs would want to keep tags and names unavailable because of some inactive clan, no matter how famous it is. I'll forward your idea to them anyway. It does seem logical to some extent.

Moved from Ideas and Suggestions I can't really assign any particular status to a proposal this big. Some of the features you suggest are already planned, some won't happen at all, while the rest are simply good ideas with potential to be implemented. So I think this is better off as a discussion (although I will still forward the idea to developers). The biggest problem with the idea is that anything that involves crystal rewards can be abused. If the rewards are significant, then people will get into groups and specifically do certain actions to manually increase their "fame" and get rewards. I like the idea of fame being linked to certain aspects like clan applications and paint/XT unlocking, but I doubt it would work well if turned into a source of income. Another thing is that negative effect on the users' fame shouldn't be caused by use of supplies. Supplies are just part of the game, so there's no shame in using a lot of them in battles where they are available. And choosing to not make yourself stronger despite having the opportunity to do so does not make you a better player.

Sure, it's good for newbies during their first few days/weeks of playing, but it's a bit of a sneaky move considering that this update basically tricks beginners into thinking that MUs are good, so they end up getting M1 and wasting all their crystals away trying to upgrade them to M2. I think there needs to be some kind of warning once player reach M1 to prevent this kind of situation, otherwise this change seems rather unethical.

Yes, kills and deaths which happen in Parkour mode still count towards your ratings. In the future if you want to ask a question about the game, please refrain from creating new topics and use the official Q&A topic or the Q&A site. Closed.

Here's a thought that I had yesterday while looking through comments about supplies. I realised what I actually want to see in this game regarding supplies — I want to be able to go into a battle with supplies on, knowing that every single player on my own and the enemy team will be fully dedicated to using supplies, rather than trying to use them sparingly or not being able to use them at all because they ran out. Because a problem with supplies nowadays is that, regardless of how much supplies are limited and how cheap they are made, there will always be players, who wasted all their supplies somewhere else and are playing without them. So you either end up with a team that has players without supplies and you get destroyed by the other team (not a fun experience), or you end up with the enemy team having such players, so you end up steamrolling them into the ground and easily winning the game, which is boring. I already gave up on the idea of making supplies completely free so that anyone can use them as much as they please, only limited by cooldowns (like the thing we had in May 2015). So I think what realistically can be added is a new type of battle where you pay a certain fee (say, 1000 crystals for 15 min) and you get infinite supplies in that battle. That way you'd enter the game knowing that every single player there, yourself included, has supplies and is capable of using them to an equal extent, so the only limitation would be actual skill when it comes to managing cooldowns. Can't see why this shouldn't be a thing.

I also thought it would be good to have something like that. The way I see it is that whenever one of the clan members sends such a message, the "Clan" tab lights up with a red exclamation mark, just like when a new player is added. That way clan members will know to check their clan page and read the message.
