I'd be very impressed if you managed to damage 39 tanks at once with splash damage from a single shot. And yes, when I said 40 tanks I meant 39 :)
  2. Moved from Game Discussion So what's so special about this? You always used to be able to un-flip yourself with hammer when you were on your side.

I'd like to see you try and get 40 people to line up on berlin for you to kill :D Not to mention that this requires a full MU rail M3.

You don't have M3. Full MU M2 is not M3 (it kind of is, but not really). Anyway, it's a boring record and not worth adding either way.
  5. Then I'm afraid such players will either have to get used to it or find a different game. Hazel clearly said that he doesn't plan on stopping or reducing the frequency of these updates because without them a game will very quickly lose its player base. I don't have time to find the exact post where he said it, but you can look through his profile to find it if you're interested.
  6. Because that's the only visible lag update that affects players. The rest of them were not worth being mentioned in the news since it's not important to most players. I'm certain that over 90% of the work related to "fixing" lag is based on code, and only people with programming and coding experience would be able to understand what developers actually did, if they were to announce every step of their lag improvement progress.
  7. I know. But LittleWillie mentioned "connection drops" as well, which is why I quoted that update. The thing is, devs added a TON of stuff to the game over the years, and if they ignored lag and connection issues and didn't work on them, the game would have broken down a long time ago. But now the game may still have the same level of lag and some issues as back in 2011, but it also has all these new resource-intensive features (clans, missions, friends, etc.), none of which could have been implemented if devs did nothing to optimise and fix the game.
  8. Updated first post with these links
  9. Probably because you don't pay attention to it :) Because they literally announced one such lag improvement change in this topic two weeks ago:
  10. It's not broken, but it isn't perfect either. These frequent balance changes are necessary to fix overpowered guns (like Hammer), adjust parameters to make alterations more suitable and generally add variety to the game. It's necessary to keep the game going. Lag and connection drops are an ever-present issue. Devs are working on it all the time and it's not just a single problem that can be solved. We will never see an update topic titled "Lag and connection drops eliminated!" because that's simply not how it works.
  11. Actually, I think I stand corrected about Hammer changes. Looks like the time between shots was actually reduced, so Hammer shoots faster, but the overall reload time was increased, so it takes longer to reload between clips. However, with the high capacity drum alteration the time between shots will be increased and the total reload time will be increased, so I think that with the alteration Hammer will have the same reload speed between shots, but longer overall reload. It's all very confusing, so I think it's best to wait until tomorrow :)
  12. Pff, RIDDLER_8 did. And everyone knows that Riddler's sacred wishes must be obeyed!
  13. Yeah, that was also my concern. For example, Leprotanki only shows your rank progress after you register with them, so all previous ranks are not shown.
  14. True, but a supermarket could also make all other ice cream more tasty, so that you would be tempted to try other brands because they are just as good as your favourite :) This is a very ideal example of gameplay balance. One that even the Balance Genius Lord Hazel would struggle to achieve, but I'm sure it's something many of us want this game to be.
  15. Well, maybe they are a lot rarer compared to before (when often a THIRD of all players in a battle were Isidas), but are they really that rare? Because in a perfectly balanced game where each weapon is equally powerful and interesting, each weapon will have equal demand, so ideally, only 1/12 (or around 8%) of players should use Isidas.
  16. Agreed, "decreased reload speed" makes more sense. We might change that.
  17. Well, now they no longer self-heal, so that idea may no longer be as necessary. We'll see how this plays out.
  18. No, it will fire them slower. "increasing reload speed" means increasing the time needed to reload between shots, i.e. more time passes between each shot. So both aspects of Hammer's reload (time between shots and time to get full clip) have been nerfed. While I'm at it, I'd like to request devs to add a reload key for Hammer. I know they specifically don't want to add it to make hammer harder to use, but I think it's necessary now that the reload got such a big nerf. And if they don't want to add any separate keys to the controls, then perhaps reload can be implemented by double-tapping space between shots? Wrong. Multiple Isida's healing each other in a no-supply CTF battle was the most effective strategy to steal a flag. A lot of players hated it simply because of how powerful it was and how little skill it required.
  19. Can you release details about changes to the alterations? Because right now there is an alteration that's specifically meant to increase Isida's self-healing ability, and after the update it literally becomes obsolete. Not really. Sure, originally self-healing was one of Isida's main features. But to be fair, it was always game-breaking. With this update devs are turning it into a typical MMO healer. Sure, you may say that's unoriginal, but the reason so many games use the same "healer" concept is because it's the most balanced option that all game devs end up coming up with. Isida still heals teammates, and now healing is even more effective with the increased "heal energy" so its primary function is still there.
  20. After seeing the recent changes to Twins, Rico and Hammer, as well as new turrets, Striker and Artillery... Devs be like:
  21. Hammer was my favourite turret over the past few months and I had so much fun getting a K/D of 10-20 in every battle. :D I am a bit sad about this change, but I gotta admit that it was the right decision - the turret was obviously way overpowered. Oh well, all good things eventually come to an end...

Why buyers hate some non buyers

I'm closing this topic since it mostly just provokes hateful comments about other players. Please refrain from discussing the ever-present issue of a gameplay gap between buyers and free players anywhere on the forum. If you have a specific suggestion or complaint about this matter, you can post in the Complaint Book. Closed.
