Depends on how skilled you are at shooting opponents' corners. With enough practice this alteration could help you defeat enemies without taking any damage at all. And the Shaft one is good for beginners, who simply sit on one spot with a charged shot and wait for an enemy to appear. So the reload time doesn't matter since they wait for a minute between shots anyway.

Depends whether you know how to use them. Shaft's alternation is literally a damage increase, so I don't see why that would be useless. Smoky's alternation is a bit more complicated as it takes away some of the damage but gives you ability to knock the enemies around easily so that you can make them crash/flip/fall as they move and miss when they shoot you.

I personally don't want to move over to TX anytime soon, or at least until they add ALL features from TO into the new game. At the moment you can't even create battles, so the new game is kinda like early-stage (2009) Tanki Online, but with much better graphics.

Unless you have crystals to waste, don't buy them now. It's really likely that they will be nerfed or otherwise changed in the near future, so I'd wait for at least Christmas because by then you will be able to get good feedback from people who tried it and maybe even be able to buy them with a sale, if developers feel generous. I personally bought the Firebird alteration and from my experience it's extremely OP. Literally makes the turret twice as powerful with very little to no drawbacks. I'm playing it as much as I can now to farm up some EXP before the alteration gets nerfed. And if it doesn't... RIP Tanki :D

Rewarding best clan players with crystals is a rather rare thing that doesn't happen in many clans. More importantly, developers won't give clan leaders ability to give out rewards for free because that can easily be abused. We already have an idea topic about an easier way to give players crystal gifts, so you can comment there. Also keep in mind that all ideas and suggestions should be posted in the appropriate section. And if you are just wondering whether it's OK for you to reward your clan members buy buying them a crystal prize using SMS, then yes - that's fine and not against any rule. Feel free to do it as much as you wish. If you have a question you want to ask, it's much better to ask in the Q&A topic, as it's far more likely that people there will know the answer to your question and inform you promptly. Closed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but the lags were mostly caused by the large size of the map. The admins were trying to get as many people as possible in at the same time and because of Tanki's server limits, the map tended to lag and cause crashes often. And on a full Berlin with 36 players it happens all the time on any server, so creating the battle on EN3 was not the problem. The battle was recreated on Kungur and there were much less lags and zero crashes there, but obviously that came at the cost of having less people be able to enjoy the event.

Lol 30 seconds is ages. I'm sure the battle will be full within 5 seconds of the link being published. But don't worry - you should be able to get a chance to get in because people will be encouraged to stay for about 5 minutes and leave so that other can get a chance to participate (which is not the case with the usual events).

Well, there's the risk that people will start killing each other for fund and score, but either way it's not up to me to decide.

True, but people kinda want to actually play the game for longer than 5 minutes a week. Or did AlternativaPlatform get attacked by some health and safety agency and this is some elaborate method of reducing the amount of time people spend playing?

It's not the fact that buyers can get supplies very cheap - it's the fact that supplies suddenly became a lot more expensive for players as we can no longer use the 80% discount that came with the kit. With the current prices for supplies, every free player who has less than 1000 supplies now will eventually run out and there will be no way for them to get their supply stocks back up. The only escape will be the limited choice of PRO battles, and that is only for high ranks. Low ranks are doomed to suffer.

That's the most primitive way to go about using supplies. "press 1 as soon as you get hit" is what someone would do if they have a lot of supplies and not enough brain to use them well. But have you thought about the following strategies?: If you have DA or DD active, wait until the 30 second cooldown is over before activating the repair kit. If you activate DA, get shot, and activate the repair 28 seconds later, you will have to wait another 15 seconds before you can activate DD, while if you waited 2 more seconds before repairing, you could activate DD first and THEN repair, so that you would get 15 seconds of DA+DD power. If you are a light hull or your health is over 50%, wait until you fight someone else and only then activate the repair kit. If you heal your tank while not being attacked, most of the time you lose a lot of healing potential because the repair kit continues working a bit longer after you are already healed. If instead you wait until you are fighting another tank or going through an area where you are most likely going to get shot, then you can get the full healing power from the repair kit. When fighting against a Railgun (and in some other situations as well), after you get shot once and are left with very low health it's good to activate your repair kit just as you are about to get shot again so that you are healed to full just before you are shot, and then healed to full again since the same repair kit still has half of its power left. Those are just examples of tactical use of only the repair kit. It gets a lot more complicated when you include all other supplies in the mix. This is why I like supplies in general, but hate the fact that buying a lot of them can compensate for any lack of skill in their use.

The skill is in timing your supplies to turn them on at the right time and combining them with drops on the battlefield to get the most power out of them. It's easy to just press the supply keys as fast as possible and activate them whenever the cooldown finishes. It's a lot more difficult to actually know the best time and order to activate your supplies.
