There are only a handful of chat moderators and they can't possibly monitor every single server at once. If you go on a server and there are messages in the chat that offend you, you can take a screenshot and report in the Chat violations section. But mods never simply ignore violators when they encounter them in chat, so if a mod comes online and sees a mess in the chat, appropriate punishments will always be issued promptly. You are wrong here in assuming that the same people who work in the chat also work on the forum. The forum moderators' group is different and has nothing to do with the chat, while the chat group has nothing to do with the forum. As for the chat moderators who process reports in the violations section - that task is part of their duty and they can't let the reports get backed up. So the fact that mods have to spend a lot of time on the forum doing reports is because of the players making too many reports and not much can be done about that.

Valid [pnts] It's a good idea, but I disagree with the 5 million threshold. If you look at the list on leprotanki.zhuka.ru you'll see that hundreds of players already surpassed the 5 million point. And those are just the ones that registered on that website - there are plenty more in the game. I'd say if the Veteran paint is given out for XP, then the most sensible limit would be 10 million. Remember that the Veteran paint has 20% protection from all turrets, so those with only 5M experience don't really deserve it and it would lose its value if it were to be given out to hundreds of players.

This depends on the rate of fund growth in those maps. People say that Polygon has the most gold boxes, but the only reason that's the case is because the map is quite open and compact, with a lot of people fighting in a small area, especially when the game is CP mode. As a result of that, the fund increases very quickly due to players dying very often (crystals get added to the fund when a player gets killed), and the more crystals get added to the fund - the higher the chance of a gold dropping. But otherwise, the probability of a gold dropping is 1/10000 on all maps, unless it's a special event map like the 2015 Halloween one. Never. Developers only said that M2 XTs might be added.

M3 is very powerful on the gold star ranks (Brig up to General), but then gets very weak compared to other M3 guns. So in a PRO battle without MUs for generalissimos an M3 Thunder will lose to most other M3 guns. M4 is good though, but it does have a lot of popular protection paints that make it weaker.

No need, we saw the topic :) I agree that some of the rules in Off-topic section are quite strange, and some of the topics don't belong there. I remember that we were cleaning the Game Discussion section to remove unnecessary pinned topics, and TWR was one of the topics moved out of there. Why we decided that it belonged in Off-topic, I honestly have no idea :D We might just move it back. The rule about only Tanki-related videos being posted in VotD will probably be removed, since the topic is like PotD and PotD can contain any type of images, so it makes sense that VotD should be the same. The dictionary topic isn't really about the game itels, so it can stay, while the Generalissimo Hall doesn't really belong in either section, so we might as well keep it there.

No, it's won't. The reason M2 has to have a protection paint is to make sure that every player in a format battle requires 2 hits to be killed. There is no need for such a rule in battles with other guns, so M0-M2s can enter with any paint just like in normal battles now. Even if the restriction is set to have only Rail and Wasp/Hornet.

I knew someone would ask that. Being a battle mod and having the ability to prevent players from entering the game is a massive responsibility and very few people are able to meet the requirements and cope with that. The applications for battle mods are open right now, but the requirements are very strict to make sure only the most trusted players are appointed. Having few high quality mods is better than having a bunch of irresponsible people, who might abuse their powers. Their numbers are slowly increasing though. As far as I know, it went from 22 to 27 in the past 6 months.

It's not a mistake. It's an advertising trick used to make the game look better than it actually is. They aren't lying - they are just treating all modifications of turrets and hulls as separate items, which is technically corrrect, since they all have different in-game textures and have different parameters. The /vote command isn't particularly effective because there aren't enough battle moderators to respond to all the voted players. There are only 27 of them in total and probably around 5-10 online at any given moment, so monitoring 40servers and thousands of battles at the same time is physically impossible for them.

You can shorten it to 5 minutes. He means that visual editing isn't allowed, like adding visual effects: blurring parts of the screen, adding shapes and similar stuff. In fact, it doesn't even have to be 5 minutes. Your video will be accepted as long as it clearly shows 100% proof that the person you are reporting is breaking rules. If you record someone constantly pushing you into a corner or trying to flip you for a minute or two, then it should be enough for a ban. But if you report with a 10 second video of someone pushing you off a cliff once - that does not prove that the person did it on purpose and is trying to ruin your game. Proving sabotage is quite easy. The 5 minute minimum is usually for reporting inactive players (mults), who are purposefully not playing to take up a spot. Since it's allowed by rules to have a 5 minute break in a battle (hence why the pause time is 5 minutes), then showing that someone is paused for less than 5 minutes does not prove that the player is not playing on purpose.

As far as I know, no new updates are planned at the moment, but it's possible that developers will add some of the suggested features from this topic in the future :)
