As usual, the best thing is the one you like most and are most comfortable playing with. If I were you, I'd go for Hammer, but if you only have enough crystals to MU 1 item to 50/50, then I suggest that instead you maybe get both 1 turret and 1 hull to 30 steps, rather than just 1 item to 50.

Just a quick note: The reason the repair kit does not heal you fully is because you have an M3+ Mammoth, while the supply was designed to give enough HP to only fully heal a Mammoth M3. Whether they made it intentional that the repair kit does not fully heal Mammoth M3+ or if it's a glitch, I don't know. But developers are aware of this and if it's an unintentional bug then it may be fixed in the future. Although personally I don't think that this issue is serious enough to make any changes.

There are no XT kits at the moment and at base M3 stage Mammoth and Firebird are the best, since they cost more and unlock later. However, with full MUs all weapons (XT or not) are equally powerful, in theory.

Yeah, it could be made the way Minecraft stacks on the ground work. 1 item owned = 1 item shown, 2-10 items owned = 2 items shown, 11-100 owned = 3 shown, 100+ owned = 4 shown. Something like that. And people would be able to see the way your garage looks in the profiles page :)

Valid [fmtb] Automatic equipment changing for format battles has been suggested before, so this is kind of a similar thing. Although being able to change between Hornet and Wasp inside the battle is a very useful feature.

I think this only happens on maps with the new prop library, like Rio, Skyscrapers and Madness. And as far as I know, it happens with all boxes, including golds. So yeah, until this is fixed make sure you don't jump on any boxes from above on maps with the more recent graphics.

I answered this issue in another topic. Basically we just have to live with it until developers add the ability to return to a battle after you quit, because then the "fail-safe" will no longer be necessary. But for now I agree with this - as a courtesy to others please don't just close your browser's window if you want to quit.

Not all drop locations on maps are symmetrical. I won't add it to the map unless someone has actually seen a gold drop there. Easy. Get a bunch of people to play on the map for a long time in a closed battle and agree to never take any golds that drop. After a while you'll fill up the map with golds.
