Topic merged You are basically suggesting to increase Vulcan's knockback to allow you to flip back on tracks with Hornet and maybe Viking, since those are the only hulls you use. There is no reason to do such a specific change for just one gun, since many others don't allow players to flip back from their side, especially with heavier hulls. So why should Vulcan have that privilege?

I know I told everyone that it's a dev account and that they simply added the numbers, but turns out that's not the case. In reality it was an actual player, who set himself a challenge of getting as far as possible in the game without dying. He did it buy camping with a a heavy hull and drugging non-stop and when he was about to get killed - he quit the battle, which doesn't count as a death. He reached something like a Lieutenant rank and the stopped because he got killed once. And then during the period when it was possible to buy experience, he just bought enough to get him to generalissimo and then abandoned the account for good. So yeah, it's legit and I think we might even add the record (at least in archive, if not in the main section) if the guy applies here.

TDM is one big team against another big team. What if you just want to enter a battle with your friend and play together against a lot of other tankers without having any mults or noobs on your team?

This should hopefully discourage players from teaming in solo DM because it will be inconvenient and maybe even banable. Teaming in DM with this feature enables will make teaming more interesting.

Then you might want to post it in here instead, although I guarantee you that the idea for a racing game mode has been posted dozens of times before. Also, please don't waste your time listing the prizes for different places. The amount of crystals players would get is something only the developers will decide, so the fact that you listed the reward for every place in the race is completely irrelevant and will not be taken into consideration when (if) the developers read your idea.

Racing missions can't be just a daily mission though. It requires so much reworking to the way battles work that it needs to be a whole separate game mode. I do like the idea of a racing mode in Tanki, but think about how many changes need to be made to make it possible, interesting and fair: All hulls must have the same acceleration and speed Shooting and killing must be allowed (at least as an option), otherwise the race really doesn't fit into a tank game The track has to be clearly defined with possibility of unfair shortcuts, which means addition of either walls, holes in the floor or minefields that instantly kill players The respawn mechanics have to be completely different. When a player gets killed they need to respawn a lot quicker and somewhere on the track, instead of in a random place on the map. Since the player has to respawn on the track, a whole new system of checkpoints needs to be programmed, where the player respawns at the nearest checkpoint behind them when they get killed. Since winning the race is about crossing the finish line, the game mode will require a new scoreboard detection, where it determines your place in the list based on where you are on the map, rather than how many kills/points you have. So yeah, no matter how you put it, adding racing to Tanki is a massive project that will take many months to develop and definitely won't be just another type of daily mission.

Yeah, stop right there. Any map you enter needs to be downloaded before you can play it, so not only will a map this size take hours (if not days) to load, but you'll run out of RAM before you can even load 1% of it.

Not possible. We already discussed this option and DS said that a lot of the current permissions and functionality depends on the forum groups, so if we remove those, we might as well close the whole forum.

Wasp one-shots with rail were always possible. If you look at Wasp's HP and Rail's max. damage, you'll see that Railgun is able to kill Wasp and even Hornet in one shot. The thing is, it doesn't happen often because most of the time Rail's damage is around it's medium value.

That's just the way the game works. The server lobby needs to be loaded before you can be sent to it, so nothing can be done about that in the current version of the game.
