"Supplies won't be nerfed more." That's because I haven't told them how to do it yet.

    Let's Discuss Micro-Upgrades!

upgrading five steps is useless, just for 3 or 4 pieces of equipment, even upgrading paints 4 or 5 stages will take yrs in the game, losing most of the time, or spend several $100s dollars, even with premium acc. It would take a year or more. You can buy all the supplies you need with funds you can earn in battle and virtually be using an M4 at will, and win the lion share of battles every day. The only players who will get any benifit from MUing are the addicted buyers willing to spend $1000s to get what? An extra win now and then, and only if you have a team of other major buyers. Total waste of money. A team of M3 using supplies will WR3K a full M4 buyer if he/she doesn't have an active group of M4 players, then they are just throwing their money away.
  3. yes it is bigger than tdm Each point neutralize and point capture adds adds 1/2 a kill of each player on opposing team so if it's 8 vs 8 each point cap adds 4 kills to your score In a poly CP it could be easily 50% higher fund due to that. CTF has a similar format with 1 kill for each player of opposing team but flag caps in CTF happen much less often and kills are nowhere as quickly as in CP batles
  4. Wow, I better start Grinding :P
  5. I really don't understand how a hacker would affect my stats on wins, losses, and forfeits in my profile. I don't give a hoot about who has the best stats in the game. A player could theoretically have a perfect D/L all the way to Gissmo so ratings whatever they may show can be fixed through loopholes in game design.

    Let's Discuss Micro-Upgrades!

Let's just put the cost of micro upgrades into some context, a free to play player will earn aprox. 1,200,000 +\- from recruit to generalissimo without purchasing crystals, while one turret to M4 costs 1,300,000+\- excluding any MUs of lower modifications. That's no hulls, no paints, no turrets.

I have nothing against f2p games making money, even craploads of money. The issue I have is one of ethics. Tanki continues to manipulate the game more and more in the pursuit of higher and higher cash purchases, and focusing on their target market for that revenue. In all my years here I have never once seen a statement from the studio that refutes this practice. I would love to see a public statement to the contrary from the studio. I would have never started playing this game if it was then, what it has turned into today.

Devs do actually listen to our ideas

Devs don't listen to players, they use players. The use of players ideas, concerns, and criticism are used only to enhance and increase revenue. Crystal box drops had no monetary value, so removing them from the game was in their best interest, it was a no brainer. Everything that has been done may look like it has roots in user feedback but really, it has been incidental to the big picture of inflating costs of OP content. Even design improvements and maintain acne are only focused on because if the game is not playable, they would not have users to collect revenue from. The key to their limited success comes down to the efforts they maintain to make the game addictive.
  9. Not clear on what your viewpoint is, could you elaborate more. And why the *?
  10. I enjoy CP battles when they are balanced, but more often than not, saboteurs in the mix with their weakest combos or watching by the sidelines with no interest in winning. At one time DMs were the battle of choice when gaining experience was important, it guaranteed you a fund and moved you up in experience quickly. After CPs were updated, they quickly gained the reputation of having the biggest funds in the game, Sad in a way that players were corralled into this format to grind endlessly, but I guess it does save CTFs from having so many mults and saboteurs.
  11. I would have loved seeing gameplay stats like, Games Won, Games lost, Games incomplete, DM win position, most kills on one life, and longest life.

Toxicity is a byproduct. The studio has to take some responsibility for this toxicity. It's not up to the player to justify your monetization model and policies for you in the forum. If the studio decides to push the boundaries to extremes and use the forum as a mechanism to determine how well or poorly your monetization controls are being implemented, especially when it threatens that passion players have towards your game, and the studio is unwilling to have any transparency over the aforementioned policies because doing so would lift the veil of trickery that lies beneath the surface, then you can be sure to generate a very toxic environment, it shouldn't surprise you that this is happening. If the studio was truly trying to change its monetization policy, then there would be transparency, and the forum could have the possibility of having great dialog with the studio and its representatives. All indications show this is not the case as your move to promote Poland and Brazil would indicate. These sectors are ripe in the eyes of the P2W "F2P" circles to capitalize on, and I wish you luck, but I will give you one piece of advice, the F2P landscape is changing and as more and more opt to change their policies, the end is near for this style of monetization.

    Changes to micro-upgrades

I'm sorry but your system of control ( coercive monetization model ) is so obvious, everyone will be leaving and to do this on the eave of the launch of your new and improved Tanki X coercive monetization model will follow suit, get out of the dark ages and stop all the trickery and take the high road, a leader in the F2P world VoC > TtC this new model is insane, you are going from $0 to $1000 and that can only lead to failure. Tanki X or Tanki eXpensive I hope Santa puts coal in your stockings!

Players are only passionate because they care, and even when their communication style is hyperbolic or hurtful, they have the same goal that you do: to make your game better.

    [Issue 43] Premium Accounts

He isn't an admin nor a mod responsible for the issues at hand. He is just one of thousands of discontented players who is frantically trying to find some kind of fun in this game and giving his time to be creative in the forum. Though I share your thoughts regarding his attitude of "if you don't like it just leave", it is a symptom of the bigger issue that stems from the lack of leadership right from the top down through to the admin of this forum in dealing with players in a professional manner.

    [Issue 43] Premium Accounts

I am sorry to bring the controversy into your article.I do however applaud you for responding to my post even if your reasons were misplaced. There is a great lack of real dialog. I blame the administration for not using the resources available to them. There is a real problem with how the administration handles feedback as a resource. No one seems to be taking a professional leadership role. I continually see every person in an administrative positions log in quickly skim through topics and quickly log off again without taking the needed action to actually get effective dialog and feedback.
