Well, if you're good with M2s, I'd suggest the "Lots of Supplies Kit, as it's easy to make a profit with the 70% savings. I realize I don't have the experience with Smoky or Viking, but this is my logic.

Well said. Also, as suggested, why give the buyers a leap in equipment - it's not necessary! What if you let them buy a map pass or something, so they could play on maps not normally available to their rank. No doubt most of the buyers would drug and help their team, while also feeling better than all the regular players without disrupting the gameplay.

This is one huge positive for the kits (if you want to buy one). Let's say I have Thunder M0 and I buy the Medium Tank M2 kit. I will actually skip the M1 modification - it's completely free! This is especially if you have something M0 and buy an M3 product kit; no cost for the M1s and M2s.

Top part: good excuse. Bottom part (what was said before): lame excuse. Yeah, but what happens if the devs decide to chop up some stats of turrets, like, mega different, still no refund? Doesn't make sense.

I actually think it's a smart upgrade; now players will be quicker to buy, not having to look for the cheapest method.
