Well I've just come from another battle where one particular player continues to sabotage. I could provide the video but I'm too busy trying to win so your violator mods would most likely reject it because I didn't follow him around recording. His score was practically 0 for 10 minutes. He leaves the battle and then comes back in half way through and then laughs at the end and leaves 8 seconds before the scoreboard. This player has been constantly reported and always attends battles of me and my friends with the sole intention of making us lose. What can you do? Nothing. He gets a slap on the wrist and does it again. I'd say it's pretty pathetic. 1 person can spoil the game of another 9 although in this case he had a buddy in with him sabotaging too. It's a disgrace and goes on far too much. Btw, this player was on the enemy side when I joined but he intentionally swapped to our side and I have this on video. ps, before that I noticed my friends in monte carlo and again this players name was there with 0 pts at the bottom of the score board. I posted the link in chat saying sabotage was occuring on blue but all I got was a chorus of "hhhhhhhh" from his friends looking in. More, a lot more, needs to get done because I conservatively estimate about 30 - 40% of my battle suffer some kind of sabotage.

Look, playing with the same ip is perfectly fine. Helpers or mods will decide if it's suspicious or not and act accordingly. They're smart enough to leave genuine play alone so no need to worry about getting bans. This small addition should be welcomed by everyone who enjoys honest play. There is nothing worse than a mult and we need to encourage tanki to do more to stamp them out as best they can.

This is welcome news and restores a bit of hope for the game's future. Happy players mean spending players. Money coming in means you can pay your server bills and hopefully turn a nice profit at the same time. But a huge percentage of my battles are spoiled by players not caring as you say, deliberately not trying or otherwise or, as in one of the cases today, a player came in and was full on sabotage. Now this player is already serving a current ban so how is it possible he's doing that? What is the point of submitting the video when punishment is meaningless? Please do explain.

No it wouldn't. I can see you here now, am I invading yours? I can also see your garage and your gifts. What have you got to hide? I don't want to know who your friends are, just how many are being saboteurs. Don't know why anyone would object to this unless they're one of them.

The ip notification for helping mods detect sabotage is welcome but more is needed. Not all sabotage comes from the same ip and usually it is from friends. Players should be able to tell how many friends a player on his side has with the enemy side just by pressing tab and looking at the scoreboard. If I see I'm on a side where a player in my team has 4 friends on the enemy side then to me he is a potential problem and saboteur. I'd rather find a battle less slanted. Please make this happen.

News just in today Well this is a welcome step and in the right direction too. This will help across all ranks but mainly at the lower end of the spectrum. At Generalissimo level, we see clans who have big followings with players eager to join their ranks and get in their bad "good" books. I see players like this all the time coming in who are nowhere near as good as the clan players but will offer themselves willingly for mult/sabotage duty. There is no shortage of these types of players and they don't necessarily share the same ip. Not to sound ungrateful, this is a welcome step as I say but will it get enforced? Very rarely do I see any type of message from a moderator or helper in a battle, maybe 1% of battles I go in but I doubt it's higher than that. We do need more than this, but it's a start. I'm not concerned about drugging. It's the cheating and the sabotage. I've had 4 battles today. 3 of which suffered sabotage and mults. I'll leave the latest one public on my youtube channel for you to see (just occurred 10 mins ago). Please come back a bit later in the year when you're closer to the pointy end of this game and tell us how you're getting on.

I totally feel your frustration and understand where you're at. Forgive the English idioms but I fear we're flogging a dead horse and this dirty laundry certainly needs to be aired in public if it's to get better. Although we might think it, we should fall short of actually accusing devs or tanki of anything negative and we shouldn't insult them. We play the game by choice, why, because we love it obviously and we make good friends along the way. We see the potential in it and on some days things can go really well and some days quite the opposite is true. But why do we have to put up with all the sabotage in TO. I'd love to name names but I know that would be overstepping the mark here in the forum. They know who they are. A 10 v 10 game can quickly escalate to 15 v 5. That is to say 10 direct enemies and 5 mults (non triers), making battles virtually unwinnable. So who are these non-triers. Is there anything tanki can do to detect when friends of friends join the opposite sides? Obviously there are times when friends play friends so detection would need to be smart. They have cheat detection so why not mult detection? There are other solutions available too which would go a little way to help deter saboteurs from their misdeeds or at least make it difficult. quick examples, violators that have successfully been punished have their gold box catches removed for a time they are not allowed to join the opposite side of existing friends for a month allow players to see how many friends a player has on the opposite side when you press tab. These are simple yet effective measures that would be most welcome. If I knew that a player on my side has 4 friends on the enemy side, I'd question his motives. I may decide to quit that game and find one not so slanted. The point is there is no shortage of simple measures to help us out so we must urge tanki to consider them (or develop their own ideas) and if they won't, the question begging is, do they care about fairness and justice? We must all keep the pressure on or at least keep these subjects going. We shouldn't have to settle for anything less than fairness.

I know it's difficult but try to keep it civil and do not insult! Sabotage is now part of tanki online culture and nothing meaningful is being done to reduce it. I'm not wanting ideas or suggestions in this topic but I would like to know why players think this is or isn't the case. Too hard to prove so have to live with it, it's part of the game now. Criteria to strict when presenting evidence so it discourages players to report it Meaningless punishments do not deter violators from doing it again Players want to help other friends by joining opposite side and then not trying Players can't compete with buyers or druggers so resort to other measures Players develop enemies in the game and like to sabotage their efforts to frustrate them for kicks Players are sabotaged and see nothing done about it so they retaliate and sabotage back Tanki prefers not doing anything meaningful about the problem because they benefit financially from it Tanki don't have the will to do anything meaningful about the problem Tanki don't want to discuss a negative subject and prefers to sweep it under the rug

Mods, I am certain I have not broke any rules here, please leave because it needs discussing. Tanki is full of injustices and unless you're prepared to join the dark side of this game, you'll never ever be able to truly compete or even have fun when you reach level 30, Generalissimo. If you joined this game around the same time as me, you were lucky to have arrived at a time when equipment kits were bargains and 50% sales were commonplace. I had designed my own spreadsheet which imported the information from wiki which in turn allowed me to micro upgrade my hulls, turrets and paints as cost effectively as possible, enabling me to have an m4 garage with a wide variety of fully upgraded paints for the lowest expendature possible. So why am I writing this when I'm supposed to be as strong as they come? Surely if anyone can compete I can! But I might as well have M0's and Green paint on when it comes to seemingly indestructable clans who always seem to have all 3 supplies on but just can't be beat no matter what you throw at them. The task of winning is made even more impossible when mults join your side with the sole intention of making you weaker still. Some of you know the feeling of being mugged in this game and it's an injustice that occurs far too often. We all know the players who engage in this behaviour. Their names come up far too often. You see them enter a battle and you think, how many mults are they going to install this time! /vote and mods to the rescue. And for my next joke... Seriously, Tanki supposed to be sorting out these injustices but seem far more interested in designing teddy bears and blue spheres, you know, really essential stuff this game can't do without! Everyone knows about the kick2 idea in the forum, an idea which even if partially incorporated, whether automatically or player moderated, would go some way to deal with the scourge that plagues our battles. It has almost 400 likes which is a record for the EN community and that is a very loud shout to tanki devs, PLEASE do something! As we know, they're not wanting to tackle this huge problem and our only recourse for justice is to painstakingly gather evidence for later submission to the violators section but by that time you've already been robbed, mocked and left in the gutter. Even if successful, the violators don't care as they have no shortage of alternative accounts to do it again. So call me a conspiracy theorist. Do tanki secretly endorse this 'not so subtle' cheating that is rife in this game? How could it possible benefit them? Well for one thing, by not doing anything meaningful about the problem, naive players might think that all they need to do compete is to spend a little bit more pocket money. No I hear you say, there is no corruption here. Well I'm not saying there is but a part of me has been thinking along these lines for a while now. Some of you don't even have a clue what I'm talking about but if you managed to catch my 4 hour live stream today on youtube, you'll have witnessed first hand what I mean. There is always hope but it's fading fast. No justice means players will resort to desperate measures or just quit the game entirely. There is no shortage of players joining the dark side, defending sabotage and condoning mult-like behaviour. It's online gaming thuggery at it's finest and honest players are defenseless against it.

I think this year's Iron Days is a big fail so far, failing miserably to pull in the numbers and to offer players meaningful discounts or goodies. Promotions should span weekends and not start on a Tuesday. I realise the days of 50% sales are reserved for extra-special occasions now but 25% per item per day is pitiful. You could have offered all 3 items at 25% off for all 3 days and it still would have been a bit of a downer. Hardly a celebration is it. Just saying.
