Seems strangely remiss of Cedric not to mention it in the announcement eh? So strange in fact you yourself had to ask the question. I think they were hoping to release it another day. They might be forced to do it tomorrow now. But if it's not there, will you be telling everyone that the new paints and the premium account times where not actually "added", because they were there when the shop opened? See, anyone can do this. I can also point to the eula as and when the situation requires.

Hey, I've done more than my fair share of thinking, offering feedback, alternatives, suggestions and solutions without a considered thank you for my effort and time from nobody. The moment I post something like this though then you just can't resist. What does that say I wonder? When is this? Tomorrow? The announcement didn't say. We're you supposed to share that? I've also done more than my fair share of buying too and nobody has approached me and said thanks. I've paid my fair share of wages here and that grants me no special status. So my meme is my way of saying shove it. If you don't like it well that's not my problem.

Are you for real? Donate to tanki? It's clear to me at least that this update was all about bringing money in for tanki-x and nothing to do with spicing the existing game up to keep players interested. The numbers of people playing have already settled back down to pre disintegration levels and the downward trend should be setting alarms off in tanki HQ. Switching things around just to fleece us with unreasonable prices will 100% back-fire on them and the tanki-x project. They're off to a loser before they even launch it! If they really could be bothered with a real update now and again, like fixing lag, stopping mult-like behaviour etc, then players and clans would be not be quitting this game in their droves. They should be giving us daily updates on how they're getting on with corrections and keeping us involved with plans and discussions but tanki like to keep everything a secret don't they, even if it's to their detriment. Anyway, it's times like this we can expect more double-funds and bonuses from tanki. They only need a small excuse to give us something when things are this hopeless. The 100th vlog should yield something for us! I won't be playing regardless.

Don't apologise for sticking up for yourself, others and the game. Any idea how much my garage is worth? Yes, that's my garage and anyone can see that I've supported tanki financially over the years. I would actually pay for new modules if it was done right but as I've already said, I can't even bring myself to play, nevermind pay. The newer price increases are no doubt purposefully over-inflated. As with almost every controversial update, tanki do these types of things only to recant slightly later on, usually accompanied by, "we listened to your feedback and...". We then get a chorus of "hoorahs" from the forum. What a fickle bunch we are!

Again, I don't agree with your view on things. If players are capable of forgetting what module they themselves are using, what hope is there for remembering 10 enemies who constantly chop and change things. As I said, I could get a flavour of what was out there by just driving around and now I can't. It impossible and I for one am not going to be "hoping" I choose the right turret. I'd rather not play at all. The stated aim of this update was never about making the game easier for new players and this is certainly news to me. I seen the v-log and I thought the stated aim was one of flexibility.

I totally disagree with nearly all of this. (respectfully of course) For me, I'll never get used to the problem of not knowing which turret to choose and despite premium and double funds this weekend, i've not even registered half an hour in battle. It goes without saying that if you only have 1 turret then there are no choices to make but if you have 2-11 then the choice is a difficult one to make. "just change to another gun and hope that there will be less protections from it" If we have to hope then what is the point of buying more than one turret? I don't want to hope. If I knew I'd have to hope to pick the right the turret then I would never have bought all 11. Before I could look around and check out the enemy paints and quickly pick a turret to suit. Now this is nigh impossible to do with the current system. If it stays like this then I'll slash my playing time here to maybe 10-20% of the time I usually spend here. If improvements make it easier to choose a turret then I'll probably increase it. I am pretty close to throwing in the towel altogether which is a shame. (some will pleased though I bet :P )

This is by far the biggest reason why I'm not logging on to any real degree this weekend. I suspect many others are feeling the same way. Even with the incentive of premium and double funds, server numbers have barely increased by 5000 on what they were at the end of June / beginning of July. Usually events such as these see a lot more players making an appearance. The early signs are that players are waiting for improvements before they reengage. If we had something like this on screen we would be able to figure it out. The numbers in this graphic are the percentage totals of all the players resistances to each turret. These could be broken-down further to display a percentage for each resistance. (totalling 100%) The total percentage here totals 730 then the numbers would read... 29% for firebird (210/730 *100) 17% for isida 15% for freeze 11% for vulcan, smoky and twins 3% for shaft 3% for rail Now I don't know about you guys but to me this would make me feel a whole lot happier about this update because I could work out at a glance, (just like before when I looked at their paints), that the enemy have a strong defense against Firebird, Isida and freeze but not Thunder, Rico and Hammer. Further food for thought: If this information was moved to the scoreboard, shown when you press tab, even better. There is no place for it in the game. However, this information, should be shown all the time, (in my opinion), without the need to press R, along with the resistance value for my turret.

Any time any player asks for something similar to what a helper gets whether it is a small crystal payment for doing a service or getting a paint with a percentage off all turrets, some mods are quick to pounce and will say and do anything to ensure it does not succeed. I understand, you want to preserve your "special" status because you feel that these things are part of a remuneration package for services rendered. I get that. I feel that is why you're strenuously attacking respectful complaints to Tanki's decision to remove the 15% protection without notice. I was one of those who argued against premium's protection in the first place. I'm still against it now but the only reason i'm advocating a return to the 15% is because of the way it was removed without notice when so many people paid real money for it. Remember, you can't buy it with just crystals alone and people earned that money through real life jobs, chores etc. It was only last week I commented somewhere that I respected you and this was mainly down to what I read in the I&S topics. I thought that you let some players down gently and was considerate in your replies to them when they suggested newbie ideas. I clearly didn't read enough of your output because you've now hit rock bottom in my estimation. Your arguments seem fabricated and are unpersuasive, while your attitude to others leaves a lot to be desired. Your stubborn refusal to even acknowledge players' concerns does you no favours whatsoever and does tanki a disservice because while you reply with that avatar, you're representing them. This is not an 'Us against them' topic. Although your post was removed. I'm yet to receive an apology from you. Saying players are "not smart enough" is akin to calling us stupid.

Going back to this comment I suggested some kind of on screen visual that gives some indication to what resistances the enemy is using. Before, we could simply look around to see who was wearing what and you'd get an instant feel for what turret to use in response. eg, Before, if I saw lots of Africa, lumberjack and Zeus paints, I would change to Railgun. Obviously we can't get a feel for this now and no-one can adapt efficiently enough which makes this less playable. So why not having something like this on screen to show the total resistance values of the enemy side... I'd be picking Rail, Thunder, Rico or Hammer if I seen this! If not resistance values, how about the total number of resistances - how about both! As I said, before we could work it out just by looking at the paints, now we can't. We need an alternative.

And we're forever being told to be respectful and constructive but it's hard to be so in the face of such contempt, disrespect and disdain. His 20% helper paint won't be much good against other mods because pretty soon, they'll be the only ones left here having chased everyone away with such patronising and condescending posts.
