No, the ones you have now, when transferred, will be upgraded to a similar level but cannot be upgraded past their current limits. The modules you purchase still have to be upgraded but can be upgraded to the max.

But the legacy paints can only be upgraded to their current maximum, therefore they become third-rate modules. eg, Savanna. Smoky - 50, Rail - 36 & Rico 27 are the maximum upgrades for a legacy paint, which becomes virtually useless against someone who gets 50, 50 & 50 for a module with the same turret protection. But tanki does have a way of lessening the blow when it comes to bad, news announcements. Maybe they will recant slightly on their original design and allow legacy paints to be upgraded to the max too or at least strike some kind of fair balance. Who knows! But I stand by what I said earlier - this update, in it's current form, is the worst I've seen so far in my 3.8M xp. This really is scandalous. So with the exception of Clay, Zeus, Graffiti, Red Suit & Eternity, (maybe one or two more but I can't think cos I'm seeing just red at the moment), everything else tankers have in the way of paints has become a complete waste of crystals because they're potentially third-rate items. Wow, words fail at this point. Hang on... is this some sort of extended April's fool's joke? C'mon, come clean now! If this is for real then you're soooo taking everyone for a ride, especially when TX is around the corner and this version of the game will become all but obsolete. You've not even made any promises about what we will be allowed to transfer over to TX yet so what guarantees are there that any investments in TO are not going to be a total waste of crystals or money? The ethical thing to do here would be to calculate the crystal value of paints in everyone's garages, remove everyone's current protections and credit each their total respective values - a rebalance of sorts just for paints. Did you even consider that? Hang on, you gave everyone freebees didn't you when you upgraded equipment to the highest parameter. Crafty! Still, you can work it out I'm sure. You do realise that TO have majorly dumped on anyone who has supported this game monetarily for the last number of years don't you? Do you think they will reinvest in this game or are you happy to see them go? How better to get a fresh influx of players to make new purchases while chasing away those who have been most loyal. So paints like Africa, Lumberjack, Picasso etc, which have protections against 4 way paints will be converted into two components. 1) A paint colour scheme 2) A trio resistance module But Hazel said we will not be missing anything and if I understand this correctly - we will be missing the 4th protection. REFUND PLEASE! This whole paint thing sounds like it's been dreamed up by a top company guy, against TO devs' better judgement, as a way to make more money for TX's development, but I fear in reality it will be just another nail in TO's coffin. Still nothing meaningful to combat mults but all this trouble for what? Yes, this is about $$$ - nothing else. Prove me wrong tanki!

There was actually two players sabotaging in that video and they usually follow friends of mine in order to ruin their games for kicks. Because they do this a lot, I was able to recognise it early on in the video when I tried to give a warning. In did not deter them. I can't believe he was let off. I've sent a pm to a Game Admin the other day but it's not even read yet. No justice. Even today I was playing in Noise and I had players join using m0 equipment. This is tanki culture.

I've just reported a player who was on blue to begin with and moaned at me and my friends for joining red calling us druggers etc. He has form for hating us. He then left blue and joined red for the next 10 minutes and scored a total 23 points (most of which came when it was safe to say we were going to lose) while all the while writing things in chat confirming his sabotage. There was another message about having no skill and 8 seconds before my side was to lose, he left the battle with a loooool. Guess what happened. Unfortunately, your proof is not sufficient to take action. Well those who can navigate the forum can see who it was and those who know how to navigate youtube channels can watch the video. I did all the hard work for the violator mod and no punishment for this player who wrecked the game for at least 8 honest players. Total disgrace tanki. Double standards and stinking hypocrisy so don't pretend you care about justice when you clearly don't. And another thing, you send out a very strong message that this is the way to sabotage battles and get away with it. As I said in the first post, unless you're prepared to join the dark side in tanki, you'll never have fun or be able to compete. I'm getting more and more tempted by the day. ps, Another video has come up today about the same violator on youtube so if you watch it, you will see him sabotaging players that were on my side of my video.
