What data? You mean server loads etc? I write little scripts in autohotkey for windows, that run on 15 minute schedules that gather information on various things from various places and then store it to a file. I've disabled the server one for now. No point in keeping it running 24/7. I'll run it for a week every month if I can still be bothered in a month that is! I'm rapidly losing the will to continue playing if I'm being honest.

When you think that there are 100's of billions of galaxies in the known universe, then it seems astonishing that people can think life outside of our solar system does not exist. Most people cannot fathom such large numbers and therefore have no concept of how big the universe is. Just in our galaxy, we have billions of planets orbiting in the goldilocks zone of sun-like stars. The problem for most people is just getting your head around the scale and probability of it all. We've been transmitting radio for about 100 years now. That means those signals have traveled 100 light years. The milky way is 100,000 light years in diameter so we've hardly made a dent in our own back yard. The Drake Equation estimates the number of active, intelligent alien civilisations in our Galaxy and when you input values into that equation, the number returned is anywhere from a few dozen to 100,000,000 civilisations - that's just in the Milky Way alone! Everyone accepts that hackers cannot be "completely" stopped and I for one have never ventured there knowing full well that "completely" is not achievable. I do however think you're being deliberately obtuse. Do you not realise there are plenty of ways to minimise them. This seemingly was lost on you. Realising this, see what I posted in February 2015. It was a suggestion for a simple enough tool which would provide information about players' connections which would could then be used to confirm or dismiss lag. It doesn't have to be exactly like I say but the idea is sound. Everyone gets to see their fps and ping if they choose to see it so therefore the server records that information. Average it out over some seconds and if a suspected hacker's ping is on the high side then sure, any proof cannot be trusted 100%, however, if it's averaging at 20ms then it should be goodnight Vienna for that player and no hiding behind that overused lag excuse. But me explaining this to you is worth what exactly? I know there are ways to help combat hackers, saboteurs and non-triers as I give these things thought before posting. In the case of kick2, a couple of us discussed and worked the idea over a few weeks before posting it. It then got shaped by the community to become the most liked topic in the en forum and how much attention from devs did it get? Am I allowed to post a pic of a tumbleweed? Hmm, best not. We moan and complain and you guys say give it time etc, but how many years do you want exactly? This is not in dispute and has never been so. Why are you arguing this line when it's not in question? Everyone knows that hackers can't be completely stopped.

We're free to share it and you're quick to delete it - no guarantee that anyone will act on it. Silence on the tougher issues is the tanki way. Well good luck boosting numbers. Tanki might grow back to 90-100k around Halloween then slowly die again until late December where it will see a short term resurgence. All that time wasted on redesigning the garage layout several times, special gifts, mouse controls even just to name a few, could have been better spent doing something actually that benefits the players here, who have been banging on about this for years now. Then you didn't understand it. Why are answering the ip thing like I'm suggesting it? I wrote that as an example of the types of things you answer because they're far too easy to dismiss. I also implied that you don't answer anything tougher. With regard to the fines non-starter because accounts can get hacked and that might cause problems - well that happens now and crystal savings get depleted. What do you do about that? You're just making it up as you go along aren't you. It was in the rules not long back that tanki reserve the right to punish players in this way. Maybe it still is! What do you have to say about the video link? Hmm? You say record it so I record and players are constantly let off the hook by a violator mod who says something like, "just very big lag". That player was flat on the floor at one point and you know what the excuse from tanki was? They said he flipped back up because someone shot at him. Hhhhhhhh! Mate, bro....... xaxaxax.... Oh my sides, they've just split! What do you have to say about ideas to introduce tools to help mods eliminate that overused lag excuse? We? Our? Are you talking about tanki or forum mods? Since nobody here is talking about forum mods so I'll guess you're talking about Tanki. Tanki can do a whole lot to deal with saboteurs and non-triers. There is no end of simple yet effective measures that can be taken. The trouble is, tanki doesn't want to deal with them. They say they do but they don't as their record on this speaks for itself. They recognise there is a problem because they would never have introduced team kick in the first place, but they've done nothing since removing it. Fines, would be a good start. Try taking crystals from accounts of those who offend. None of this silly 1 day ban business. Kick2 or something similar that works from time in the game and contribution. Display fps or ping to show that when a player magically flips himself back upright and their average ping, (over 5 seconds), is only 17, lag can't be blamed. And that's just off the top of my head. Tons have been suggested by all the communities but zero action. The official line from tanki is silence and don't address difficult questions. Only dismiss the easy ones like banning ip's. All this is very tiresome and repetitive. I can guarantee one thing right now - I won't even try tanki - x when it comes out. I'm not going down that road again. Nobody cares. Years. April, 2013 they announced Team kick in update 138. It didn't last a year and it was dropped because it was it wasn't up to scratch. It's been over 2 years since Semyon Kirov told us about the good news, "is that we are already planning a new mechanism that will be as flawless as possible." So when I say false assurances, hot air, etc... it is not me being argumentative or negative for the sake of it. I say them because it's true and I can back up my claims with facts. Tanki don't like this but there you are. They bring criticism on themselves.

Such arrogance! Well the numbers in the graph, simple as they maybe, are telling me that too many are giving up on tanki and their meaningless assurances. The game has stagnated and year in year out players moan about the things that are driving them away and you do nothing meaningful about it. Face it, you lot in tanki are full of hot air and tanki is not growing, it's shrinking. You must fail your attrition targets every day. And you can blame it on the time of year if you want but the fact of the matter is you fail the players here time and time again. Mults, saboteurs, non-triers etc spoil games constantly and your lack of action will be your downfall. You may have benefited from them in the short-term but they'll be the death of you. I just wrote a little script that daily checks various accounts. His was one of the ones it monitored mainly because he was an active poster in the topic moaning about drugs. It's not available for everyone. I should write more. eg, server loads and players in battle all these little facts come in handy when making an argument!

I don't think you're a drugger at all. You use on average 63 drugs per hour. That is 1.06 per minute. Daily missions aside, if you buy the drugs bundle available to you at your rank, you spend on average 242 crystals on supplies per 15 minute battle. So you are claiming that you earn 484 crystals on average per 15 minute battle? You're must always finish on the winning side and in the top 3 for that to be true. Here are you numbers And here is a graph for the last few weeks Trust me, you're not a drugger. You're someone who doesn't mind using them but I come across players who drug 3 or 4 times more than you. I use 3 supplies every 2 minutes and while some may view me as a drugger, I don't think I am compared to some players I face. btw, the numbers I have quoted are factual. I keep records.
