    Paint Separation Update

It wasn't obvious at all. Obvious is putting it in the v-log. Obvious is putting it in the News and Announcements section of the forum. It was so obvious that you needed to give special thanks to someone for finding 2 posts that contains ifs, buts and maybes. You probably remember it because it's your job to scour the forum. Players can't be expected to visit every topic and read every post. Conclusion: Not obvious.

Yes yes. We all agreed that we could be shafted when we joined but that doesn't make it any less wrong when it happens does it? Stooping to the eula means you have nothing of value to say which is telling.

    Paint Separation Update

Tanki Disintegration I don't know why I'm even bothering anymore but here's some more from me. Enemy stats - concept: I like the fact that we can now get access to the stats of other players' tanks. I've always wondered how some players seemed too powerful, doing things that I can't do when I'm using m4 hulls, turrets & maxed out paints. I know others don't like to have this information being made public but I do. Now if we can do away with the random and variable nature that some turrets have so I can calculate if others are cheating then that will be a step forward in my mind. Stats - Presentation: What can I say other than, currently, this sucks big time. It's far too confusing now to try and adapt to what the enemy are doing. Before we could see at a glance what resistances enemies had but now it's difficult just to find out what one player has, never mind ten players! I've not played that much but when I have, I even forgotten what module I was using! If you go back to v-log 93, we got told that we would just see a number above an enemy tank indicating the resistance against your turret. We also got told we would see detailed stats when we press tab. Well neither of these things turned out to be the case. I have thought a bit about presentation and I honestly can't think of a suitable way to make this work but I would prefer to see the icons above a tank permanently without the need to press R, along with a permanent number indicating the resistance value for my current turret. Detailed information should be available for when I either press tab or have something permanently on screen via a HUD eg/ Enemy Resistance: Firebird = 3, Isida = 4, Freeze = 0, Hammer = 6, Shaft = 1, Railgun = 7, etc eg/ Enemy Turrets: Firebird = 0, Isida = 6, Hammer = 1, Shaft = 2, Railgun = 1. This information could be presented using those little icons and a corresponding number. I'd then be able to quickly assess what protections and turret to use. (just like before) I should also be able to see what I am using too. Detailed stats in a much bigger scoreboard table is needed if this is to work. Splitting paints from their protections: I honestly don't care too much about this. I'll be happy driving around in Black paint as designs have not really appealed to me much. Protection Modules: I've already voiced my opinion on this and I'm unhappy that Legacy modules have been devalued by newer modules that can surpass Legacy upgrade potentials. This means a player might have spent 700,000 crystals upgrading a paint to be the best it can be only to find it can be bettered by a new Trio module. I provided a solution on how legacy modules could be converted into the newer micro upgrade format but despite my asking on many occasions about it, it has fell on deaf ears. This solution, if implemented, would actually get me spending money again but as it stands, I'm not spending a penny more. Your arrogance and stubbornness gets in the way of your judgement and your refusal to engage with long standing players such as myself only hurts Tanki Online and your own careers. I might be critical, negative even, but I always provide constructive feedback which is usually accompanied with facts and stats. I want what you want - a successful and enjoyable game. Again, we were told in the v-log that we, "would also be able to combine the resistances we need with the look that we want", which gave the distinct impression that we would be able to assemble our own modules instead of having pre-built ones to choose from. If we were able to make our own then that would be much better. There are Trio's I would like that are not available to me. Premium protections: Removing 15% from each turret is a mistake. If helpers can get a module for all turrets then one can be made available for premium holders too. Players spend money here to buy a product and they rightly feel mugged when that product is taken off them. Mods here seem to think it's worthless but if that's the case, why not just make it happen. What do you think would happen if you take the helper module away from mods? All we would see in here would be moaning mods, left right & centre. It's crisis time for tanki and first day of Disintegration could hardly have gone worse with the vast majority of players voicing their disapproval. I hope you find my feedback useful. Until changes are made for the better, my time playing here, which has already been curbed somewhat of late, will be far less than recent times. Edit: See This

    What's your concept about Aliens?

The universe might be infinite or it might not be. Every astronomer or physicist will tell you they don't know for certain how big the universe is but current estimates say that it is over 100bn light years wide. Space is expanding and some of it is moving away from us faster than the speed of light. Sounds crazy eh. Question is, what is it expanding into?

    Paint Separation Update

That much is clear and is not in dispute. So any paint we had that can't match a new module's micro upgrade potential has been devalued. As a result, many players are extremely unhappy about this already and many more players are yet to realise what this update means for them. I have suggested ways to fix this and I am yet to hear a reply. Do I not deserve one or something?

    Paint Separation Update

I've already proven this to be false. What we are losing, in most cases, are the best protections for a given combination. Before, the best protection against Hammer, Rail and Smoky was Tiger. This is no longer the case. Now a new trio module with those protections can be better. Most of my paints have been devalued overnight.

    Paint Separation Update

Chatting in skype about this with DT this evening and we knew someone would resort to this. I didn't think you'd stoop so low. Resorting to the eula is the only recourse of someone who doesn't have an answer.

    Paint Separation Update

The old paints will now be called Legacy modules. These modules cannot be upgraded past their current limits. New modules will be upgradable to 50% for the resistances they have.

    Paint Separation Update

@Cedric Debono I believe this update, in its current form, is the worst thing to hit us for an awful long time, if not the worst! Let me explain... First of all, as I understand it, Legacy resistances modules can only be upgraded to their current resistance limits. Take Tiger for example; (image) But, let's say somebody buys a new Trio module for Smoky, Rail and Hammer then proceeds to upgrade that to 50-50-50 - you can clearly see which one would be better. Like most of the top paints I have bought, Tiger is maxed out and if I paid full price for it, then the paint + mu's would have cost in the region of 700,000 crystals. I feel this Legacy module to be 3rd Rate now and I'm certainly not going to buy a new module to eke out 22% more for Rail. Now I thought about this, when Episode 93 of the v-log was published and I submitted a well thought out and practical solution with regard to this. Here is that solution I would appreciate it if you could reply to this and acknowledge what I have said here. thanks... az

Thanks for your reply. Well I think everyone who purchased Premium recently would disagree with you there. :o I feel for them and it's going to be the last straw for some no doubt. Hope you can find that post from Hazel.

    Paint Separation Update

I have logic ^_^ and I didn't know premium would lose it's protections. Does the same logic apply to helper paints too or is that different? I could be wrong but I don't believe this, ie, stripping premium, has ever been discussed before anywhere in the forums. Do you mind providing a link please? Many thanks.
