I've tried it on the test server, and I don't like it. The rounds travel slowly and you have to concentrate on driving with it. I barely got any kills with that combo. Then again, I'm not good with Twins, so it might be good in the hands of other people. Speaking of the test server, I figured out that a M0 Twins projectile is just barely faster than a M4 Wasp on Nitro about a month ago. Interesting.

M2 Fire is just as good, if not better. Probably better.

Having a friend do nothing while you destroy them over and over again. It's against the rules. If you get caught doing this, I believe XP gets taken away from you as a punishment. Not sure. That's not allowed, as other people have said here.

Grab Thunder first and then save for Smoky. That's what I'd do.

Smoky FTW! Shaft is a close second for me, but Smoky's more versatile in terms of gameplay, so it narrowly takes the cake.

Well, Wasp suffers from that problem as well, so if that's your only criteria, then Wasp would be a terrible hull as well.

That happens if you haven't loaded the garage yet in your session of playing. I always visit the garage the moment I log in, so loading times are much quicker for me. Try that out.

That hasn't been my experience. Before the recent hull sale, players in the Major ranks were basically all using Viking. Now, I see more Dictators, but I think Viking still outnumbers Dictator.

Yeah, there was a Commander in Bugatti's screenshot with M2 Dictator/M3 Freeze/Cedar. He/she might have used it only for the gold, though.

This tends to happen if you're using lower ranked equipment. While it's not particularly nice to ask people to leave, a player with under-leveled equipment could be a liability to his/her team. For instance, if a Colonel decided to use M0 Hunter/Smoky/Green in a team battle, most people would get somewhat angry at that person. In general, you should try to play in battles around your rank; you'll do a lot better there, and there (generally) will be no people asking you to leave. If you do decide to play in a higher ranked battle, you should try to make yourself as useful as possible. If they constantly ask you to leave, consider their request if you're not doing well in the match.

While the A-10 does have a gatling gun, it's technically not a machine gun. It's a cannon, since it fires exploding rounds. In real life, a machine gun isn't going to do much damage to a tank. This is Tanki, however, so realism isn't a big deal. :P

My M1 Shaft deals about 147 damage; that's more than enough to take down M2 Hornets and deal hefty damage to more robust M2s. I wouldn't recommend micro-upgrading it too much.

The 300 DPS of Hammer is only possible if you get to point blank range, where all of the pellets will hit their target. If you're anywhere further away from your target than that, you'll deal a lot less damage. Ricochet has much more range than Hammer, so I have no problem using my M2 Ricochet to destroy M2 Hammer users from a distance. Not to mention the bouncing effect.

My opinions here are my own, and don't represent what the staff thinks. If you want to get angry, please get angry at me and me only. I'd like to clarify my position; while it is very possible to do well with M1s against M3s (since that's how XP/BP is structured), M1 players are by default in a somewhat disadvantaged situation due to their equipment. Minute differences in the reload time or even the charging time can make a big difference in an XP battle. In a M1 vs. M3 situation where both players are equally skilled, the M3 player is more likely to win because of these equipment differences. In a M1 vs. M3 situation where the M1 player is somewhat more skilled than the M3 player, the odds are about equal. You'd generally have to be significantly more skilled than your opponent to tilt the odds to more than 50% in your favor, and by a lot more than if both of you were using M3s. The problem exists with M2s as well, but it's not as pronounced due to the smaller differences in equipment stats. I'm neutral on allowing M1s in battle or not, but I was saying earlier that the devs might have had their reasons for not allowing M1s.

Ehh, I'll pass. I spent most of my crystals on the sale; I plan on saving the rest. It'll be interesting to see how these play out in combat, at least. ;)

Dictator FTW! With the auto-aim update, it also takes full advantage of impact force.

I don't really like Viking, but it's far from a bad hull, especially at M2, where it has about as much health as a M2 Dictator. The low profile and height is really useful if you want to stay concealed while sniping, and it has otherwise good stats all around.

A lot. I didn't really count, but the health upgrades cost about 90k crystals in total, including speedups. Totally worth it.

Yes, that is my M2 Dictator. Since then, I've MUed the speed to 7.22.

I don't really understand why people use Swash. It looks nice, but it doesn't have any substantial protection against any turret. My Freeze is still M0, so I obviously don't use it. Most people say that M2 Freeze isn't that good, so perhaps I'll wait until Major General to get M3 Freeze.

A lot. Was it worth it? Yes, yes it was. It's really easy to push people off ramps with Dictator-Rico. On a recent Silence CTF, I managed to push two people off the map in quick succession from the Blue team ramp. Ricochet's recoil makes them unstable and all the easier to push.

Exactly. For a 1st Lieutenant medium hull, that might be a tad bit too much. :lol: The MUs are really helping out (obviously). I can take a LOT of fire before going down. On a recent Dusseldorf CTF, I managed to get a 4.10 D/L in a match with mostly Majors and Captains.
