I've tried out Dictator-Firebird, since I was bored. It's actually not all that bad, but the speed can be an issue in some situations. Still, you can annihilate lots of people if you go flanking. People recommend Dictator-Isida sometimes, but I don't see much logic in that. Is it good, and if so, why?

Before I got my hands on decent M1 equipment, I used M0 Rico a lot. I was pretty good at it; I didn't miss much, and figured out how to use the ricochets pretty well. After the nerf, I used M1 Smoky more often.

I've used M3 Isida on the test server, and it rocks. Put it on a Hunter, use a DP, and you're good to go. M2 Isida looks like it's really good too, with the high damage, great healing, and whatnot. The two "prongs" at the front of the gun look like shark teeth to me, for some reason.

Nah. At M0 it's weak, at M1 it's quite good, and M2-M3 is where it really shines. Rapid rate of fire, high knockback, powerful crits.

You have a point. I did the math, and a M3 Railgun will be able to one-shot a M1 Wasp with Tundra. M3 Railgun deals about 164 points of damage. Tundra reduces Railgun damage by 30%, so it multiplies Railgun's damage by 0.7. Multiply 164 by 0.7, and you get 114.8, which is higher than M1 Wasp's 95 HP. Then again, M1 Railgun deals slightly more damage than 114.8, but you don't see M1 Wasps getting one-shotted that often. I'm not sure. Still, it's a possibility that might need to be addressed.

I'm already playing with relatively high ranks (Major and up) fairly often, OK? I don't use Shaft all the time either; I still manage to get good scores with M1 Railgun, M1 Thunder, and M1 Smoky. While I suppose that very heavy use of Shaft can make you a bit complacent if you decide to use something else, it's not a problem if you diversify your turret usage. Also, do you have a high account? If not, you can't say from experience that it'll get harder as I rank up.

I disagree. I use a wide range of turrets and hulls, and using Shaft quite often has not dulled my skills one bit. It's also often not as easy as it looks; have you tried sniping somebody from across the entire map when only a small amount of their tank is visible?

I absolutely hate it when somebody bumps into me when I'm in scope mode with Shaft. Earlier today, I was on a Monte Carlo CTF, and there was one WO2 player with Hornet-Rico who kept on pushing and firing at me. I ended up having to push him off the map (M1 Dictator's pushing power right there) to get him to stop. Same goes for Railgun. Never touch a Railgun when they're aiming or charging a shot.

Then again, I do have MUed Lead paint, so if I put that on my Dictator I have a chance of counter sniping you. :P Still, I don't like fighting against players Major and up. Besides the obvious fact that I don't have the equipment to fight them on the same terms (at best, I can barely hold my own), they tend to use supplies whenever possible (I'm not saying those people are bad players; it just makes them harder to fight) and are probably more skilled than I am. On the test server, I did alright against the vast majority of the players there, many of which were extremely high ranks, so I guess my skill is decent for now.

Hornet and Viking (maybe Mammoth too) are too mainstream, and in many cases overrated. That's one reason I like using Wasp and Dictator. They're less common, and you feel more special using them. If you're a pro at Dictator, Titan, or Hunter, I'm probably going to remember you more than say, if you were using Hornet or Viking.

I see them all the time at battles around my rank. Is it less popular at Gismo?

I was lagging a lot. If my internet connection was better that day, you would have a pretty hard time fighting me, trom, and camel all at once.

It doesn't look that good to me. M3 Viking looks like somebody took a M3 Hunter and squished it under an elephant.

You're supposed to CONTINUE the story, not start another one.
