Nope. Smoky runs on the same principle as Thunder; the damage gets lower the further away you are. At long range, the damage it deals is negligible.
-
Hmm, I don't think I've received mine yet. Then again, it might be me.
-
Your rank is too low. You can't enter, unfortunately.
-
From what I can tell, Smoky is more popular at high ranks than at low. Smoky goes well with pretty much any hull, but I recommend the following: 1. Smoky-Wasp. Takes some practice, but is extremely effective once you get the hang of it. It's fast, extremely maneuverable, and is great for hit and run attacks. Also extremely effective for capturing flags and points. 2. Smoky-Titan. Already effective at low ranks, and an absolute monster at high ranks. You can take and dish out a lot of damage. Especially good for DMs, or if you feel like causing havoc in the enemy base. 3. Smoky-Hunter. Decent at low ranks, much more effective at M2-M3. Fast, durable, maneuverable, and capable of destroying anything in its way. In my opinion, this is the most balanced tank there is.

I don't think you need a race. Get fully MUed in speed M3 Wasp, put on Twins of any modification (projectile speed is constant), pop a Nitro, drive forward at full speed, and fire.
-
Most players know how to use it, but not very effectively. There isn't too much skill necessary to use it on a basic level. Point, keep your aim on the target, and done. What matters more is how you maneuver your tank, more so than the other weapons.
-
I'm wondering if a fully MUed M3 Wasp on Nitro is faster than a Twins projectile. Is it? ________________________ A lot of players pop a DP when they want to attack enemies with Isida, but I don't see many players popping a DP when healing teammates that are coming under fire. I wonder why.

I'm really looking forward to this rebalance. I have a huge issue with players who are compulsive druggers. Earlier today, I played against somebody who apparently had bought the M1 Heavy Tank Kit and was using Electra with M1 Hornet/M1 Isida. He was drugging non-stop, and racked up a huge K/D ratio. The interesting thing was that he wasn't much of a threat when his drugs timed out, so one can only assume his massive success was almost completely due to drugs. Tanki should ideally be somewhat like a soccer/football game. What matters is how skilled you are. The current system is as follows: ->Team A is beating Team B in a match. Team A, is, for the record, more skilled than Team B in general. ->A player on Team B gets fed up. He takes out a shotgun and shoots all the players on Team A. ->Team B scores a few goals and wins. Was their win based on skill? Nope. A drug war is like this: ->Team A's players come back from the hospital and decide to play Team B again. This time, they give all their players shotguns as well. The players on Team B decide to pack shotguns too. ->When they play, they're mostly focusing on trying to kill each other with shotguns instead of actually trying to have fun and score goals.

Dictator's height is both a good thing and a bad thing. The bad news is that you're very easy to notice on the battlefield. The good news is that the height advantage is very useful, especially with Shaft (you can see and shoot over obstacles that most hulls can't).
-
Nope. On the test server, I've tried M3 Wasp/M3 Thunder. Even if the turret fired perpendicular to the hull, it doesn't flip over. Heck, even M3 Railgun (which has the highest recoil in the game BTW) won't flip Wasp over if fired perpendicularly. Sure, you'll get jostled a little bit, but it's not that much of a big deal. Next time, you might want to test out what you're saying before you say it as fact.

The crystals are coming on August 26th. You will not get them immediately. Geez, so many people don't read the original post and then get disappointed and blame Tanki.
-
You could use Swash paint and bring your own pool with you. :P
-
Uh, no. It's more stable than you think.
-
Yay, I'm not the only one.

I've actually never completely run out of drugs, and I don't think I will in the foreseeable future. I have more than 490 of each supply, and at least 700 nitros. I never buy drugs either; I guess the glitch supplies from the Star Series came in larger amounts than I thought. M2 Isida is a pretty scary opponent. <--Relation to topic (I haven't been warned yet, but still).
-
At my rank, I can still play with really low rank players (lowest is Master Corporal). I have never had a decent teammate with a rank lower than WO1. When I was a Master Sergeant running around with M1 Smoky/M0 Hornet, I didn't have any worthy M0-using opponents.

M1 Hunter > M1 Viking There is no argument. Better in pretty much every way. The only advantage M1 Viking has is the cheaper cost and lower unlock rank. M1 Hunter does look terrible though.

Did Traceur have any actual attributes? It looks very cool (I've seen it in-game once or twice), but I didn't notice anything when fighting with Traceur users. _____ After I get the M1 Medium Tank Kit, I'll have everything I need for a long time (until I start needing M2s). However, I think it would be nice to have a reliable medium range turret; on some days, I just don't get lucky with Smoky. I'm mostly looking at three options here: -M1 Ricochet. Quite powerful, good range, great knockback. Would be very useful with my soon-to-be-obtained M1 Dictator and possibly with my current M1 Wasp. Drawbacks: I need to recharge, and it's not fun running out of juice for Rico when you need it the most. -M1 Thunder. Very powerful, good range, meh knockback. Would be very useful with both M1 Dictator and M1 Wasp. Drawbacks: low knockback, self damage (Cedar from the kit should help), not good if you need suppressing fire. -M1 Twins. Quite powerful, medium range, great knockback. Would be fairly useful with M1 Dictator (might have problems at close range) but not that great with my M1 Wasp. Drawbacks: issues with aiming at close range with Dictator, only really useful on one hull. Also, the range.

Firebird can be used in two ways: -Head on attacks. Usually not especially successful, but if you must, use Hunter or Viking. -Guerilla attacks. You're going to want to use something fast, like Hornet or Wasp. Attack from behind, unload your Firebird into your target (shouldn't take that long), and run away once you're either out of charge or your target is dead. The first method is easy to deal with if you have a ranged weapon. The second is more nefarious. EDIT: 314th post. :D

Smoky-Wasp is currently my favorite combo. I don't think you should have a problem with Wasp-Twins users if you know what you're doing.
-
I've tried out Wasp-Shaft on a Scope CTF. It's surprisingly good. If you decide to hang back and stay in cover, it works just fine (you can also fake-out the Railguns aiming your way), and if you decide to advance, it works fine too. Just snipe quickly and run away.
-
M2 Dictator is a good tank, but unfortunately M2 Viking is practically superior (the health difference is about 1 point). It's also going to be a while before you can get M3 Dictator. I'm probably going to switch to another medium tank once my soon-to-be-acquired M1 Dictator becomes obsolete (which isn't going to happen anytime soon). M2 Hunter looks like a good choice. If I get to Generalissimo, M3 Dictator will be the first thing I buy.

Wasp-Shafts are a rare sight in ranks above WO1, but if you're a skilled player, you can take out a lot of enemies in a short period of time. It's a very mobile sniping configuration; you can destroy more players, since you don't have to wait in a camping spot. Run out to get a good view, snipe, and retreat. Now that I have M1 Wasp, I should try that out.
-
Wasp is significantly faster and more maneuverable. Just because it has more health doesn't mean it's better.
-
Yep, pretty much.
