I've tried out M3 Wasp in the test server before. It's extremely fast, highly maneuverable, fairly stable once you get the hang of it, and overall a joy to drive around.

I don't have Viking, but it looks like it would pair well with Thunder. Viking has great health and stability with decent speed, and Thunder makes it a solid mid range tank.

Thunder, Smoky, Railgun, and Shaft all have more range than Ricochet. If your only criteria is range, those four are all superior.

You don't need to micro upgrade it a million times to make it powerful. In fact, micro upgrading M0 Smoky is a waste of crystals. All you need to do is play for a while and get it M1, where it becomes a lot more powerful than M0 and far more effective.

Shaft and Railgun (with some MUs) can kill Hornet and Hunter as well with not much extra work. Again, it takes skill to use Wasp; if you're getting flipped all the time by your own hand, you don't really know how to use it.

Freeze loses effectiveness at higher ranks because the freezing ability doesn't increase at all, while the hulls gain lots of turning speed. During open testing, I tried out M3 Freeze, and it's actually more difficult to use than, say, M3 Thunder. Same with M3 Isida, since it's actually not that strong in comparison to the other turrets. Freeze and Isida users can be dealt with fairly easily as long as you have sufficient equipment (same modifications for your turret and hull, extra drugs), a good paint, and an appropriate weapon (something ranged). They're also absolutely helpless against Shaft and Railgun at longer ranges, so if you have good teammates who can patrol your base, try using those.

It was removed since it apparently wasn't very popular. If you're buying XP, you're basically favoring your rank more than your crystals. If you rank up the normal way, you're going to accumulate a lot of crystals and become a more experienced player. If you buy XP and rank up, you're usually going to be somewhat short on crystals afterwards, and you might not get all the playing experience that determines a lot of your skill. Most people don't have money to burn, so only a small percentage of the community ever used that feature when it was still there. I still don't really see the point that much, since we have the Score Multiplier Pass. It'll make you rank up significantly quicker if you're an active player.

You're basically suggesting a tank that goes lightning fast but can't turn. Hmm, maybe we should have a rocket tank that can barely turn but goes at 20 MPH. :D

Most players don't use Firebird with Hunter since it isn't particularly fast, but it can be very effective in close quarters or small maps. It's a great flag defender.

I like the new Hunter better.

The Noobest paint has already paid off itself. They've already won one battle, so you're going to get 7,000 crystals worth of supplies. Subtract the initial cost, and you're basically getting 6,000 crystals worth of supplies for free. If you went the extra mile, you've gotten 34,000 crystals worth of supplies free. In the best case scenario (extra mile, Noobest wins all the battles), you'd get a whopping 104,000 crystals worth of supplies. If I did the math wrong, correct me.

I was playing on a Seruphov CTF earlier today, and I swear that none of the Hornet-Ricos on the enemy team knew how to turn their turret. Our team's Freeze had a field day with them. A lot of noobier Rico players are also trigger happy, to the point where I've seen players on the enemy team destroy themselves with their own Rico shots.

I wouldn't recommend using Shaft on a light hull to most people (the art of quick sniping and offensive Shafting is hard to master), but I figure that if you had to put it on a light hull, Wasp would be the best choice. After all, if you're using a light hull on Shaft, you're probably doing so for the speed, so you might as well throw health out and go with Wasp. Besides, you can't get to certain parkour spots using Hornet.

Yep. Pretty easy to make people rage with Smoky, since a lot of people (at least used to) look down on it and consider it a minor threat. I've played several matches where players would say "I hate that Smoky" after getting killed a few times. Heck, quite a few players I've fought got fed up and switched to their M0 Smoky. I suppose you could say that Smoky is truly a troll weapon (Freeze comes close). Troll people with knockback, troll people with crits, troll people with overall annoyingness (long range Smoky shots are practically useless but annoying to those on the receiving end), and, best (worst for the user) of all, Smoky can troll you (everybody's experienced repeated shots without crits).

Urg, really tempted to get M1 Wasp right now to pair with my Smoky, but I'm not sure if there are going to be any sales soon.

There's no beating Inferno for Freeze protection. Plus, I think it looks better than Zeus.

Firebird goes best with Wasp. The lightness isn't a problem once you get used to the speed and handling, and it's much better for circle strafing enemies than than Hornet. That said, it also goes well with Hornet or even Hunter depending on the situation.
