    I prefer the hammer for Island CP and the rico for Polygon CP. Iran is different. I think both kits are not good for that. The real question though is: What is your experience in both combos? I find it silly for someone to buy an M3 combo they had never tried before as M0 or M1, or at least M2. They are completely different styles as you must know.

    That is only good for defending if you are talking about firebird because you can hardly reach where you want to defend if you spawn at your base. For Combe, it is hopeless because you spawn in the wrong base. I guess it is the same if you want to prevent the other team from capturing, you can sit on their flag!
  4. This is not possible. Even noobs have version control systems so they can retrieve old code if something happens and can apply any change (patch) to any version (unless the code diverged too much). The problem is that there are so many scenarios, and the devs only considered a few (for the old system), so there were cases were the system should kick in and it did not or it should not kick in and it did. Another problem is that it is not likely that the devs and we will agree on the scenarios the system should kick in. :P I hope we can live with that disagreement. The point is not to prevent any team from winning with a big gap, but to make sure the losers are still having fun and earning rewards for their effort. This is not the case when a player on the winning team earns 1000 crystals and a player on the losing team earns 100 crystals for the same score. This one we will need a long time to drive through. I believe it is easier to start with the easy cases: Nobody on one team (entire team left) and there is a nonzero battle fund: End battle within seconds. One team is half the number of the other team or less or down by 3 or more for a few minutes and it cannot keep up, give one minute because it has already been bad for a while. I am sure they will give longer grace periods, but that is useless.
  5. Doesn't the stupid thing underline spelling mistakes in red? My browser does. Anyway, both the twins and vulcan are for noobs. You are a gismo, man. Use a real turret, not one that you put a paper weight on the space bar and go around until you die. I share your sentiment though. When there is a vulcan, it's my top priority.

    Medium is good for mid-range. Shaft is not good for mid-range. If you have it on a fast hull though, you can take out a tank or two at the enemy base and run with the flag. Naturally, you need to be a good runner and hider.

    I do not recall seeing a shaft on a viking. For the shaft, I suggest a heavy hull for defense and a light hull for offense.

    Sorry, found it. It is m/s, and it seems the acceleration is enough to reach full speed in 1 second. 10 m/s is 36 Km/h == 22.5 MPH.

    Hi, How can I measure distance in a map? Say my tank's speed is 10, if I drive it for 10 seconds, how far is that? I.e. what is the unit of speed? Km/h? MPH? m/s, etc.?

  14. This is an excellent idea. The problem though is: They have to go through the logs themselves. They may like something we don't. There is no avoiding real feedback, but this is an excellent first step. Anyway, as somebody has already noted, there is a wealth of feedback here that should be sufficient to nail this issue.

    That is it a style. Style is like defending, attacking, running flags, capturing points, etc. Usually Shaft is better with heavier tanks because it is weak in short and mid range unless you are a drug addict or you can run and hide quickly. Medium hulls are not fast enough to run and hide and are not heavy enough to take a few hits. It helps to mention your favorite maps.

    I think extra speed is not needed in either map. People use Dictator mainly for gold boxes. M2 Fire is much more powerful than M2 Freeze and unlocks at a higher rank. Freeze has a different play style though because you can theoretically destroy tanks without incurring damage even if they are not busy with something else. I think you have a case for M2 Fire but not any of the other stuff, and that is if you insist. :)

    The short answer is: of course not. Now, to be more precise, why do you want to do that? I can answer that for point 4, which is that the M2 Wasp is a lot faster than M2 Hornet and it's about the same protection but not the stability. You should answer one of these two questions at least: 1. What is your favorite play style? 2. What are your favorite maps/modes?

    In general, it is silly to MU anything more than halfway through (except for paints) unless it is M3. The exception is if you catch a few gold boxes in the size of one million crystals (each).

I agree, but I can't think of a good way to do that, and I do not think the devs can either, not that they agree with it. :) The golden rule that I hope everybody agrees on is: If one or both teams are bored to death and are just waiting for the battle to end to get their crystals, end the battle as soon as possible. The problem is how to figure this out. It needs to be complicated. It has to be different for CP, CTF, TDM, and DM (if that is even included). So, you have to say a maximum gap of 10 flags per 15 minutes, a maximum gap of 30 in CP per 15 minutes, a maximum kill gap of 100 in TDM per 15 minutes, a maximum gap of 20 kills in DM per 15 minutes. Also you need to include the individual score/team total score in cases where there is no gap, e.g. nobody is capturing any flags or control points, but one team is being slaughtered left and right. As you can see, there are too many parameters to be factored in. My suggestion is to start with the simple cases and work their way up. They actually said, they would change it so it would only trigger when an entire team has left, but I did not see that update. When the devs announced their interest to implement this "feature/bug", I knew that theybit more than they could chew, and I was not coy about it.
  20. Actually, the message is correct. :) You just need to know what is it based on. If you look at the top right corner, you will see that your team made 7 kills vs 1 kill for the red team. The system figured that you are overrunning the red team. The system does not care about the score on the bottom right corner. We do. :) It is right too. If you kept slaughtering the red team, the system would have ended the battle early because of that even if they captured a 100 flags and you captured none. You'd have ended the game early but got no crystals. Yay!

  23. I have just played alone against 8. They were all mostly higher than my rank. I played for 17 minutes. The horn honks on. Whenever I kill someone, it resets. This is obviously a case where the alarm should never reset unless I kill half of them without getting killed once. I got 87 crystals for my effort. :)

  25. Priorities: If one team leaves completely and battle fund is not zero, end battle within seconds. Waiting is pointless. They can start a new game. If one team is down 2 players or more, check scores and decide whether to end early or not. If one team has players not playing (incredibly low score for their rank), you can check the scores and decide whether to end early. Normal battles, there is a complex criterion to end early. This is the least priority. Start with a huge gap and see what happens. Can we now start with the trivial case in point 1?
