So, while mixing and matching libraries, I came upon the issue of the xml files when loading the testing tool expecting a certain set of libraries to be present. Looking into my sub-libraries, inn the objects folders, I saw the TARA Builer, and I can only imagine it is used to compile and update the xml. So my question is, how do I go bout using this file to create libraries that can be read by the testing tool? Also, Are there any "gotchas" when updating the xml once the libraries are built? Thanks in advance for any help.

That could never happen to you, you've already won.

"i'm here to Talk only about the K/D and why it should be removed, so please calm down and don't insult for no reason." after you post this? "Thanks for your comment, i really forgot about how selfish shafter's can be, and how obsessed with theire K/D ratio, and how bad they go just to keep it up." That was insulting. I, as a Shafter, have good cause to comment on why the stat matters, because, MY ENTIRE ARGUEMENT was based upon shafts and the stat. Whatever you were talking about when you replied to me, was in that context. "you started to insult like a child for no reason, you are just made because you are afraid of losing all your effort if th K/D no longer exist." I am "made" (mad), because people like you want to change the focus of gameplay to some sort of koombyah "alright team lets huddle, now do this, I 'm telling you that . . . " type set up. No, you're not smarter than me, no, you're thinking on game play IS NOT better than mine, and people's feelings getting hurt is of ZERO IMPORT to anyone beyond unnecessary attacks on their person. If I kill an izzie in a wasp all day, tough, they can ball their eyes out, OR do something different, or play another game. "shafter's always hold us down, they never cap, never hold a point, while we lose our K/D they get to rise theire's on OUR expence" In fact, I hear the butt hurtedness from here, all the way from whatever foreign country you're typing English from. At the "expence" of maybe offending a few people, lots of us will gladly cooperate in a game, but we don't care about you, we'll be fighting you in two game on another map anyways. You are the one that is emotional and worried. I don't care if other players lose their self esteem over a number in a game, if that is keeping them down in life, Tanki, and players like me, are not the problem, there is professional help for that. I take my game play seriously, but it is a game. That said, I am invested in my game, and while I turn it off and think of it rarely outside of game play, it do care about it, and my stats, it's what I have to show for my efforts. If I described it in your terms, it would sound like this . . . "I'm a shaft and I can't stand that I get so many kills but someone captures two flags and they beat me at the end of the round, it's not fair. I got 45 kills and 3 deaths, and they got 17 kills and 13 deaths. I should be leading. We need to get rid of the point system for captures that way everyone can focus on K/D. Then people will see how good I am." Again, Shaft or no Shaft, you care about what you care about, period. The difference is I don't whine and moan and start threads about how this should go or the other. Ricos are now so overpowered that I sometimes think about quitting Tanki, they can reach across almost any map now, or 3/4s, it's stupid, but no thread from me complaining. They took my penetration power from my Shaft. I paid in for upgrades that had THAT COST calculated into it from when they converted from granular to lump sum microupgrades, did I make a post and scream bloody murder? No. I'd really like to go on and insult you, because your tone and attitude really warrants it, but since you can't seem to exist in an environment that sees you even remotely uncomfortable or without worry of reprisal for your words and actions, I'll leave this as is. -

OH, and to this K/D ratio serve no role but to make some people go selfish and hide in corners and give us only half help (Shafter's) while give other's bad feelings about themselves and skills (wasp's and Isida's). Bad feelings? Really? This is a game of armored combat. You do realize that it is artificial form of war, and you are symbolically killing people OVER AND OVER? Death is the objective, of your opponent, killing them, stopping them, making them lose, hurting their efforts, frustrating their attempts, leaving them unhappy and wanting because your will was imposed rather than theirs? It's called winning, in combat. Boo who you spent a lot of money on something fast that a stiff fart can blow away, maybe next time YOU'LL WIZEN UP and realize that armor is just that, and the less you have, the more you'll die, sorry. Marry that to a close combat platform, and I just hope you have good escorts and clever paths to your targets. I mean really, that's the DUMBEST thing I have ever heard of, "K/D should be removed so people don't feel bad about their suckage". Maybe everyone in your softball team got a trophy even though they came in dead last in the league, but we don't care about feelings, we care about game play and winning, that thing you seem to harp on so much. Shut up, play, win, and leave people alone. -

First off, you ignorant blow hard, just because I don't cap or hold points (and I do hold points arguably), doesn't mean your sorry butt managed to cap it WITHOUT MY HELP. I am not the guy that sits around and just waits to pop a shot, If my team is actively engaged in a flag cap, my tank and turret is looking for the offenders that might stop it, not the first thing that pops into view, I want crystals, and I want my team to win. You're type never recalls what got killed right behind you after snagging that flag and making your mad dash to glory. For every flag cap in a game with shafts, 1/3rd I estimate happen because a shaft is on point and catches interceptors along the way. Really good shafts know where to bottleneck interceptors too, giving your punk butt those few precious extra seconds to round a corner and to cover and to flag capture for inordinate amounts of points (the ones YOU SEEM so happy to keep track of). Defense, pff, that alone should have kept you from opening your mouth to me. A shaft, when operated right, will suck the wind from an offense so fast, it will demoralize them sometimes into more cautious play and less attempts on the flag. Dominating a path to the base and holding it down and forcing attackers down less routes means they met you there and get hammered in numbers, etc. Shaft is there to SUPPORT, not play close quarters rugby in some knock down drag'em out. Control points, ha, we hold them down, not capture them. Once you've done the job of capturing, shafts sit back and pound opponents that try to take those points back, all from the safety and comfort of distance, and you guys often times show up just in time to kill steal those anyways. Now, for the record, if there IS AN OPPORTUNITY for me to run for a flag or capture a point, I do, but I'm not equipped to do that primarily. I'm a sniper, I lie in wait, and ruin other people's fun, period. This turret is about causing pain, hurting the enemy, and stopping things in it's tracks, not captures or controls. Now, as for the K/D, because you HAD TO go look at my profile of course, because STATS DO seem to matter to you as far as an indicator of how good someone is, you failed to take ALL the stats into account. Look at my drug usage. Of course I have a low K/d, I rarely use drugs, supply free game play. While that's a topic for another place, looking at YOUR profile, you are not a prolific drugger, but you do use, plus your rank tells me you are M4 probably. The number of hours played too makes me think THIS account has sit still for a while, like a long time after profile stats even started to be tracked, 23 hours with rail, your highest used turret, and Legendary? Yeah, your bill of goods doesn't pan out, nice try though, whatever this alt account is, it's not what you play with a lot. K/D will always be the mark of a Shaft, and sorry if the "football" players don't like the "special team" kickers, but we make or break games, period, and you just don't like it. Now, leave OUR STYLE of game play alone, go charging head first into enemy fire, and bring some flags back, and I promise I'll keep saving YOUR butt regularly, and not because I like you or anyone else, but because I want to win too, I need the crystals. -

I play Shaft, exclusively. My game play and style is focused strictly on the methods and manners best suited for that unit. It defend and support, rarely assault, and depending on the map, I may or may not have opportunities to engage as much as some others. I don't really capture flags often, only for missions, I capture points for missions, and other than that, nothing other than hike, camp, kill, rinse, repeat. K/D for shafts is the ALL TIME NUMBER ONE, BAR NONE, NO EXCEPTION indicator of you game play. All of your eggs live in the K/D basket. We don't cap flags or points, so all we do is kill people chasing our flag carriers and kill runners with ours, and kill other things in between. It's all very nice that some people are bothered by their low K/D, but know that other types of game play can nearly only be judged by that. There is no reason to take it out, and if if others perceive you poorly for your low K/D, educate them on your style of game play and how it is best measured, or, learn how to use Shaft rather than be butt hurt about being trolled for being useless. -
You do realize that was the purpose of Shaft fro mthe start, one shot, one kill. Stop complaining, used to be I heard it could one shot a Mammy in one shot, and that was like Mammy m3 vs m2 Shaft.
-
I only play with Hornet, and being able to move is important with Shaft, but then, play style dictates, I like camping and then chasing down my damaged prey. That said, for most, I would agree, the recoil and lightness of it makes it a hard sell. If people want to try shaft, they'd be well advised to stick with those turrets. Now, that said, all the changes lately have blown my game play out of the water, especially the reduced turret speed and longer reload, coupled with the low damage distance arcade shots, but all said and told, light hull is good for base defense when covering a flag and hitting hard and then giving chase. The real problem now is that the low damage arcade shots (the ones that are low damage) make the chase option sometimes futile. I wish they would leave this much maligned turret alone. We complain relatively little about it, and still it always gets messed with in ways that make game play suddenly irrelevant and useless. I long for some stability that makes me think that what I'm spending crystals on will not suddenly become a useless in terms of play style in a few months. Anyways, yes, good advice for most, stay with medium and heavys as the reload time and turret rotation is killing light hull play badly.

Speechless, um, just, yeah. Wow.

Wow. For anyone who can recall this, "I could have had a V8". Geez, made a million of these things, and yeah, just so happens that you are right, that map has no DM Spawn. When I get home today, I'll do that (ever get mad at yourself for forgetting the simplest thing?). Life lesson here, the detail, the devil is always in the little details. Thanks for that.

My Tanki aniversary is coming up! [Question is how long have you played]

Well if it was there before, something happened recently that really turned up this bug, I never noticed it before. That said, you couldn't see the amount of damage you did before either, so maybe, just maybe, I never knew?
-
So I was opening maps and building and then wanting to test again. Launched TTT, and boom, error after error. I'm thinking Flash upgrades have gone past the TTT version. What is the last version of flash to function with TTT then? Or is it something else and I need to look at that instead?
-
Been a long time. So, in game, last few weeks, starting around December (at least when I really started noticing it, might have been even before), I hit the spacebar, charge up, see target, pop a cap, cross hairs on top of them, and . . . . nothing. Zero damage, ghost shot, like it never happened. After a while of paying attention, I noticed my arcade shots doing it sometimes too. I heard some growling in game about this and other shafters. What's the deal, last night went nearly 2 minutes and all shots were no damage. Anyone know anything about this?
-
Same, can't say I ever thought of it this way, makes good sense.
-
Actually, I'd have to say you might be wrong, all last weekend I played and lots of them, the flag raiders, seem to have it, Izzies especially, but rails and smokeys too. Thunder types, not so much, and really not on twin or ricos, but I had a dickens of a time the other day, game after game, all the raiders were chocked to the gills with shaft protection.
-
I agree, I tried mouse control for all of 5 minutes once, and that was it really, maybe even less. It was quirky and the fast reactive shots just don't seem to happen as well as with the keyboard. I had not thought of locking the laser up before though. This explains a few things now to me of how some shafts had been popping me so easily with turrets turned and seeing me and engaging quite so quick. This mouse laser lock is I suppose a decent trick now that I wrap my head around it. (btw, props for Sat and Sun, proved it again, you can play on anything, zero drug and you were killing it, thanks for sticking around to, helped fill the map)

This is ignorant and fool hardy, and spreads lies, a TOR client is perfectly legal, completely fair game, and frankly, a good idea for everyone, though using flash on a TOR browser really defeats the purpose.

"get the flags" Well, it's not a Shaft's job, but we do it, when the rest of the team is morbidly useless, otherwise, it's us that makes sure YOU don't die on the way home. We line up the shot that kills that one consistent case defender that's using "princess power" and better equipment to make sure you never delver that flag. It's usually a shaft between you and the defender and delivering a flag on any medium and large map. "stop the enemy from taking our flag" That's what we do, shut down drugged up attackers. There is no better weapon than a Shaft to suck the wind out of an enemies offensive. On most maps, you find that Shafts generally do the majority of flag defense, especially at higher ranks, those shafts usually double duty, but their primary goal is keeping the flag safe. "chase the enemy shooting at him when he has our flag" And again, after we cap an enemy with a full charge, most good Shafts will be able to predict the return path home of the offender, and if they lived through the full charge, we line up another one along the way, hoping YOU will be there to get the flag when we pop them, which ironically I have found more often than not to be the case. Interceptors that are chasing flag carriers get strange the closer our flag gets to the enemy base, like you guys debate whether or not to go in. As a Shaft, I can't tell how many times I have taken the flag from a runner, and then sat there and watched, killing enemy after enemy who tries to pick it up while I wait for a team mate to go get the forsaken thing. As @Thekillerpenguin said, we cut paths for you flag runners, freeing up the way for your returns. Hell, he and I have been on opposing teams and literally have had to have mini wars between ourselves, on a few occasions, to finally have one team with a path that's free of Shafts (he usually beat me at this cat and mouse game too). At your rank, there are precious few "settlers" left, so your complaints are pretty much you don't like campers. Camping, when done right, will keep the team humming along for a long time and the enemy team frustrated to no end. I camp endlessly on several maps, and can pull in 3rd place and have one of the highest K/Ds, because I kill flag runners and shut down interceptors all game long from one location. There are other games where the enemy tactics do not permit, so I do something else. This whole no "camping" business needs to be left alone. That's what Shafts are for. In fact, I'm guessing YOU get shut down quite a bit by shafts, and that's the real gripe here. So, next time, how about you play and not worry about the Shafts and raise your points and K/D without looking outwards to others to resolve your problems.

Well, for those who might be looking for an edge, this isn't rocket science, but, might be worth mentioning as the little things always seem to make such a huge difference. Just got a new machine, a MSI gaming laptop, and let me tell you, last night, for the first time, I took first place in perhaps 10 matches of like 12 to 15 that I played (recall I don't play with paints, and I don't drug). Shaft is so touchy with lag since we don't get auto aim benefits. Let me tell you, bad to the bone graphics card and some serious processor power goes a LONG WAY in shoring up connection deficiencies when playing and I saw lag like twice this time in the whole time I played, amazing. The Flash image rendering was flawless and smooth and again, no choppiness or issues with it locking up, JUST FAST, everything, and when your trying to make those "just barely" shots, it makes a huge difference. So, my simple minded two cents, if you you need some edge in shaft and you're looking to buy a machine, put the money into it, might save all the druggers out there some money in the long run, and hell, you might even stop drugging (we can all dream right?).
-
Get used to it. You gotta bock out the noise and play. Trust me, no one likes you, but they will respect and fear you if you stick to just being good at what you do. Those loud jerks, try this on them. A team with izzies will always tell you if you're appreciated. Defend the flag, and if you hold it down 2 or 3 times, the izzies will flock around you, and that's when the team is obviously taking care of you, and not the blow hard yapping their gullet at you. If one starts following you. Then you're really good, you are really impacting the battle. Regardless though, look at your K\D, your score per game, you'll know how good you really are.
-
No kidding, at the cost it is to upgrade that sounds about right.
-
I sport M3 as of late and I have to say, the sweep on your laser is quick most of time, very quick. Especially in Serpuhov, Blue team, up the ramp, in the trees, seems like you can go from Red Ramp to Blue Building gap in two seconds sometimes. Of course, I have also been finding that my better connection days I seem to be getting A LOT better response in terms of quickness and exactness, so it could be that too, you just have a way better connection and lag less.
-
Been bumping into you a lot in game, but always opposite. You always have excellent turret rotation speed, do you keep the DS basically on nearly the whole time?
-
I worte a long reply to this, but you what, it's was the polite thing to do, and no one cares if you like it or not.
