Look into paysafecard. Once I found a retailer and taught them how to run the transaction, I have avoided add-on fees entirely.

IMO the event overall is great. Loving the sales, excited about the bundle, and love the animated paint! However... Bringing back the smaller map... no so much. Sure, I’ll enjoy it, but I’ll be thinking about last years expanded map the entire time. I get that there will be missions tied to this map, and that is fine. My proposal would have been to bring back both maps. Call one Halloween Medium, the other Halloween Large. Have the DM missions on the Medium map. Have CTF, TDM, or CP missions and modes on the Large map. Please consider this for Christmas. I would love to see BOTH the 2015 and 2016 versions of the Assault mode map brought back. .

Gotta say the new map favors Magnum - mostly open space for a turret with few protection modules. With this map being smaller than last years, Titan is playable, which means Titan-Magnum is very common. 2017 map does feel more like 2015 than 2016, which was much larger and did feature those other modes. I'm not complaining, but I can see where players might feel let down a bit by a map which looks like less than what we got last year. Rest of the cerebration is awesome though, and I'm itching to get those bundles tomorrow!

Opposite for me. Family keeps me busy and out of the game on weekends whereas when given enough notice I can plan a weekday in the game. Bring on the golds! :D And bring on the cannon-fodder gold box mults. :ph34r:

Nightmare may be the best paint ever! I passed on Flow and later regretted it. The price point gives me pause though. Will I wear Nightmare outside of Halloween enough to justify the expense? I can’t remember the last time I saw Flow on a tank... On the other hand, Nightmare is a mesmerizing paint. I might wear it off season just for the psychological impact on other players. I think I just talked myself into buying both bundles... :D

So my crystal grind continues while I wait for Halloween VLog. Got one of those TDM earn crystal missions for 3k crystal mission payout. Ooh, la la. Tomorrow my mission chain pays out. So Imma be in fat shape for sales.

Wait for Friday VLog - that’s what ‘Friday’ means - we’ll get real news today

So today was a grind for crystals. Played mostly DMs and a few ‘safe’ team battles where I was pretty well sure to be on the winning side. But mostly Isida-Viking DMs. Placed first second or third every battle, lots of Iran and Koholz. Tried Firebird for awhile, but Isida pulled in the crystals. That turret is just a beast on drugs. Pulled in about 32k crystals and caught 2 golds. The second gold I thought someone else grabbed. Wasn’t until I saw my gold count that I realized I’d taken it. Should be in good shape for sales. My grand plan is to have Isida, Firebird, and maybe Striker at M4 by the end of the year. Should be easy enough some they’re 16-17/20 already. So bring on the sales! :D And bring on that bundle :ph34r: .

They were probably normal. My real gripe is that I didn’t catch any today. I usually catch two or three over the course of a day. I was also using Firebird today, which I have almost no experience with, so that might be why. Side note - I saw a guy take first in a Barda DM with Magnum :blink: I tried taking him out a couple of times but he was unstoppable. Sure enough that Magnum was M4, I checked. Magnum topped out plus DD on a tank with DA in the right hands is just a beast. .

Played a lot today. Minor nitpick - the decorations on the bush sprites make spotting enemy tanks more difficult, but hey, they’re not forever. Gold boxes seemed very rare today. I wasn’t much of a fan of the Holiday paint, but by the end of the day it had grown on me. If we get a decent paint sale, I might pick it up, depending also on what the bundle paint looks like, which I am definitely getting. I’ll play a fair amount tomorrow too. Not sure how much time I will be able to invest this weekend, but I will definitely be around for the sales. Looking forward to more details!

Deck 9 Takeover Edit - this was an ugly battle. I joined the losing blue team when the flag count was 0-1. Blue is the underdog on Deck 9 anyway, and the Red team proceeded to improve their lead to 2-6. They had a Magnum just sitting high picking us Blues off as we approached, they also had a Hammer and Isida on cleanup. I finally had enough of getting pounded and switched to Magnum-Striker protection and changed my turret from Firebird (terrible choice for Deck9) to Ricochet. The Magnum saw my module change and switched his turret to Firebird. Huge mistake - for him and his team. This was a 19 flag game and the enemy team was up 3-12. They didn’t cap another flag. Sure I was stuck with a useless module, but his Firebird could not maintain their defensive pattern. I capped a lot of flags plus the game winning cap in the pic. My teammates just rolled right over them for the rest. Check the scores - my team under-performed for most of the battle, but a few clever equipment changes got us a winning CTF count of 19-12 and thus the winner’s take of the battle fund. :D. Great game to close the day on. .

Suggestion - for future events, please add the Holiday bundle to the shop at the same time as the early release of decorations. Really, why not give us buyers a few extra days available to purchase?

^ Remember when they removed the ability to create non-pro battles? The quote was something like “we’ve been monitoring the usage of the new Battle button, and from the number of times you clicked on it, we can tell you love it!”

If I remember correctly, they also nerfed M4 stats so that fully upgraded equipment was less overpowered compared to stock M3. So you get what you pay for.

And I have been checking the Tanki picture of the day to see what others have been posting in terms of leaderboards. It’s a mixed bag. CP battles seem okay though. Winners and losers are getting compensated same as before. Other boards looked skewed towards winners. I’m wondering now if rank brackets aren’t to blame, and the lousy boards I saw were the result of playing with too many low rank players. I should know this but does the game engine accumulate and award fund based off of the highest rank in battle or the lowest?

I agree. I used to love CTF, but Overdrive makes them unplayable. I may try PRO no-supply...
