It’s kinda sad that the bread has come to this. If you check the Ideas and Suggestions area, you’ll see plenty of player-suggested remedies to unbalanced battles. Again, devs have left a lot on the table.

This is another example of a pretty good idea Alterniva is not likely to follow up on. Why not crowdsource your matchmaking algorithm. I guarantee players will catch what-ifs the developers aren’t thinking about.

My day is over - it was good - caught lots of golds and finally found a good fit for me on Halloween map - Hammer. Looking forward to more play in the coming days, without the insanity of the gold box hunters today.

I've been posting here since these are event related. Sure, I'll post to POTD instead. No problem. And yes, I have been having a blast today. I wasn't really thinking about the trouble others are having, despite having some problems myself this morning. Fortunately those issues seem to have improved.

TO has frustrated me on occasion too *cough* Viking *cough* Vulcan *cough*. But I still enjoy playing the game. Purchasing Nightmare was a tough choice because of the price, but it’s worth it for me. You won’t see me with Gold Star or any other ‘status’ paint - not interested. But I’m a sucker for those event bundles with paint, Moscow excluded. Awful ugly paint that one.

Erm- the animation is client side, not server side. It will have absolutely no impact on lag And yes, I bought it. No regrets - it is an amazing paint. .

Very hard to say, but my gut tells me that, yes, the competitive games are on the rise following the update. Very very hard to say what the percentage is, so I spitballs 50-50. I have no patience for slaughters, especially hopeless ones where I know Tanki gives a pittance in crystals to losing teams. Unless I’m deeply invested and doing well on a losing team, I’m outta there. Moreover, the above inequity in fund distribution is why I mostly play DM these days. It’s a pay for performance mode, spoiled only occasionallly by teaming players. .

Preach. Lots of great ideas left to collect dust. Side note on Nightmare - the animation glitches big time during respawn, while the tank is translucent. Not a big deal as it works by the time the tank turns opaque. One more note on Nightmare’s price. Same as Flow. More complaints now implying more interest, since Nightmare is much better than ‘moving Swash’. .

I had no problem getting 1000 XP and 100 kills in two Halloween battles. Missions done. Crystal rewards pocketed.
