    That’s the whole point of Shaft though. Also it doesn’t one-shot EVERYTHING. Heavy hulls have a maximum HP of 4000, and Mk8 Shaft does 3300 damage on perfectly equal footing. You also have to remember that not only does Shaft have to reload, but it also has the charge up enough damage to actually make a kill. Then you have to consider that Shaft is immobile while sniping and you have a very limited field of vision. Overall Shaft is a balanced turret.

    Questions of the Week

    Where's the option for ∞? The tanks are just way too far away for Blaster's miniscule range. Even with a regular, non-Juggernaut tank I lose only a tiny sliver from my HP bar.

  6. 20 minutes is way too much. Even with 15-minute battles the majority of them were ending early. Either bump up the team score requirements (for example 10/12 flags?) or leave the time at around 10 or so. 10-minute battles were absolutely golden. The only thing I'd add to that is to have a "BATTLE BEGINS IN _______" countdown once everyone is loaded in. The timer only starts after the countdown has ended.

    I don't see how this is such a problem for the game's balance. It's more of an advantage over the team as a collective as opposed to individual tanks because it allows you to be protected against more enemies. As for individual encounters, it doesn't change them that much because it's still the binary [protection module against your turret]/[no protection module against your turret]. There's no middle ground here that the fourth protection module slot opens up. As for updates that explicitly cater to buyers, this is one of the better ones IMO.
  8. Don’t we already have that? What should be done is that opening the Paints section of the garage should initially take you to the Favorites page instead of the rarity of the currently equipped paint (Rare, Epic, Legendary, Special)

    I'm still waiting for that. My old phone (Android) doesn't run battles that well anymore :/ I still have my laptop of course but it would be nice to have a backup (my current iPhone).

    How on earth is the removal of Flash “hard-hitting” and “awful”? First of all, for the last few months Flash has been isolated to one platform, and most people didn’t even use it (myself included). Secondly, it’s not “awful” either. It’s just Flash, what’s the big deal of it being removed? Also I see you have the Masters of Parkour paint, shouldn’t you be happy that Flash is gone? The devs literally said physics were going to get fixed after the removal of Flash.

    In the next patch, switching countries will be disabled. That means no more switching to Brazil, Russia, or Mexico to pay a lower amount. :/

    Let's discuss Arms Race

    I didn't mind it. While it was kinda fun because it was more skill-based than say regular DM or Solo Juggernaut, it was also really annoying because it requires you to be good at every turret, but also be great so that you can get past each turret's natural setbacks (because not every turret can shine in DM). Turrets I did particularly well with: Firebird/Freeze/Isida/Tesla: Obviously. Shaft/Striker: I have a lot of practice with those turrets. Vulcan: Not great in DM mode, but I found that ignoring the burning can help get that one last bit of damage out. I remember I got three kills in one spawn and without reloading, and I was able to do that because I let myself overheat. Turrets I struggled with: Smoky: It's such a slow killer. Also, it's a lot more frustrating to use now that they gave it projectiles. Railgun: This is terrible in DM and it's weak too. Thunder: Ehh, it was pretty slow to kill but it's not as bad as Smoky. Hammer: Arms Race was held when there was a bug that would have you do only 200 damage at point-blank range, so of course it's going to perform poorly. I wonder how well it'll fare now that that bug is fixed. Gauss: I don't know, it's just not quite as deadly as Shaft here. I'd like to see this mode again, but the supply drops should be removed. The key to winning is to pay attention to the supply drops, and it kinda kills the balance for that brief period. It reminds me of the old days of Tanki when drugging was a big annoyance and the buyers always had full supplies while everyone else had like barely any supplies to use.

(More) proof that Tesla is OP: I just played a PRO Battle in Polygon DM. mira.s.r.o was initially using Firebird, but quickly switched to Tesla Mk2/Viking. sasuke699 used Tesla Mk4/Viking for the entire duration of the battle. (I used Freeze/Hunter). It's basic logic that people with comparatively weak tanks should not be dominating the battle.

    Let's Discuss Paints

    HD Skins (used to) make paint patterns appear smaller, but I recently noticed that Shaft/Shaft XT is the only item that makes paint patterns appear LARGER. Here are some examples. I found out about this when I equipped Phantom, but you can see it with other paints with small patterns too: Here are some other turrets/hulls for comparison:
  19. I got my first paint past 1,000,000 total experience points. Meanwhile, my second highest is all the way down at 359k...
  20. There's no doubt in my mind that Freeze's critical damage is OP. With AP Freeze and Supercharge, I was able to VERY easily melt through a Twins/Mammoth/Booster and a Firebird/Viking/Defender without BD and a Maxed Drone. (I was using Lvl-11 Trickster because I had to score a goal for a mission) As for Firebird, I haven't tried it since the critical damage was nerfed, but back when the critical damage was tripled, I was able to kill a Juggernaut with Incendiary Mix, Supercharge, and Lvl-11 Booster. The Juggernaut was even getting healed by a Support Nanobots Isida and he had also used his Overdrive. (I used Heavyweight Construction which lessened the effect of the Juggernaut's OD).

  22. It's a tough choice between EMP and AP, and tbh I don't know if I can choose, lol Burning was never an issue because Repair Kits exist. Freezing is just an annoyance. Stun isn't a huge deal anymore now that you keep the flag and also because it's one of the more uncommon ones (not super rare, but still.) If it were as common as EMP/AP I would definitely include it in the tie. Jammer is hilariously useless. EMP takes away supplies making it also tough to fight back, but protection modules can still decrease the effect of EMP Gauss/Smoky, increasing my chance of survival. AP takes away Boosted Armor AND protection modules, but you keep supplies like Boosted Damage and Speed Boost so you can fight back more easily or make an escape.
