Pretty sure the rule only applies if you destroy your other account in order to get points and crystals. It shouldn’t be a problem if you’re doing a photoshoot. Edit: I’m just wondering if it’s allowed in this contest to be in a couple with your alt account.

Nine days later I got this from a Daily Mission Container. It's not a win button like EMP Freeze, but it's still very potent and super convenient when fighting tanks with drones like Defender, Booster, Lifeguard, Blaster, or Miner.

Don't judge me for my low(ish) star count. I'd be increasing the average even if I was on Jumper's team.

In terms of ownership: Most common: Green, obviously. Holiday is a really close second but in the ancient days of Tanki, it was a purchasable paint (0 crystals) so there are doubtless some accounts that don’t have it. Maybe it was added retroactively like Ares was, idk. Most rare: Lord. In all seriousness, definitely an eSports paint. Not sure which one though, I’m not really into eSports. Or maybe a helper paint like Tester? In terms of usage: Most common: In the low ranks, Green. In the high ranks, it’s a toss-up between Green and any animated paint that was in a recent Challenge. Most rare: This is tricky since there are tons of paints, making it the most empirical category here, and there’s always someone who uses a certain paint, but I know of only two people who have Mr. Smiley and use it actively. I also never see people using Common-rarity but not solid-color paints like Confetti and Vortex, but those are probably used by some accounts in the low ranks. Certain animated paints like Funky Medicine, Spring, or Visual Disruptor have fallen to the wayside too.

I've wanted to change my username for a while, but ideas were slow since I wanted something that was similar to my original username (GrayWolf8733) but more simple. A couple months or so ago I got the idea to do the word "wolf" but in a different language. After some thought and time in Google Translate, I ended up going with the Japanese word for wolf (狼 (ōkami)). The fact that it's Japanese has no bearing on my decision at all (I'm not a weeb lol), Okami just checks all of the boxes. It has a transformative spelling (and not just super similar to english), it's not an obscure language, and it's a nice-looking word.

I think the main problem with this event lies in the fact that buying stars will still increase your count (and therefore the average). If you want to grind stars then fine, but it's pretty easy to artificially inflate the number of stars just by buying. Most of the heavy grinders and buyers are going for Team Jumper. (Not my screenshot) Don't lose hope though, it wouldn't surprise me if people jump on the Jumper bandwagon (no pun intended) during the last few days or when they finish the Special Mission for 300 Tankoins, killing the average. It also wouldn't surprise me if things change over the weekend. I have 894 Stars and I've been only doing Daily Missions. I'll have more time to play on the weekend, so I'll be able to get more Stars since I generally place towards the top of my team.

Maybe I'll add more later but one of my favorite combinations that I own is Striker Ultra/Hunter Prime. I sadly don't have Hunter Ultra, but it still looks great with a non-HD hull. For this combination, so many paints (but not all of them) fit really well so it just comes down to whatever you want to use. Alien Regeneration will always be one of my favorites, both for this combination and in general.

Even with all of those droneless enemies, we would have lost if I hadn't gone full tryhard and scored over a third of the team's kills. My team just wasn't great at defending, you know you're doing something wrong when someone with 3000 GS is in the top 3. Combo: Adrenaline Striker/Hunter/Booster

This is incorrect. I have definitive, documented proof that I have had Hornet M0 in the past, but it still got put in Containers. Unlike the other items that got put in my Container pool (Gauss, Mammoth), I did not buy the M1 version without ever owning the M0 version. So not only was a weak fix made, but the explanation for the problem is completely untrue.

Opened 161 Containers on 7 accounts. I got a lot of junk rewards (no surprise there) On the accounts I use, I didn’t go higher than Rare (read: on par with Uncommon at best (10k crystals) or below it at worst (100 Repair Kits)). I got a ton of turrets and hulls I don’t even want (let alone NEED) on my Shaft-only RTL account. What use is Wasp or Mammoth when I have an Mk5-10 Crusader at Lieutenant Colonel? It even has Cold Immunity, one of the most invaluable hull augments especially for Shaft, and also for mid-rank battles when you aren’t facing the cancer that is EMP/AP/Stun yet. I did get a couple of Epics, but they were all useless rewards and on accounts that collect dust. I got a paint, a shot effect, and drones. I might as well have gotten nothing, because I don’t have the crystals or the desire to upgrade Sprinter on a Warrant Officer 1 account that has a maxed Brutus and ended up becoming a project to get as high of a GS as possible as a free account. I can’t do that anymore with the loss of Shards so whatever. T(h)anks for nothing. I’m not spending a single cent on this game anymore if things don’t turn around. I have a few thousand Tankoins and I still have a pretty new Daily Tankoin Pass, but I won’t be replenishing my Tankoins past this point. Only with free methods.

Finally, a Paladin nerf! Now NOTHING will stop a Supercharged AP Freeze from barreling through everyone with no way to stop it. I have 44% Armadillo and even that doesn't keep me alive for long enough. Paladin could have been nerfed literally any other way and I would have been happy. I don't even like using Paladin but this should have been kept.

Very true. I used Firebird protection for a grand total of one hour in 2021 (most likely even less than that because of how decimals get removed if an item has >100 hours on it). Firebird doesn't hold a candle to Freeze (no pun intended) but I think that's the case for Burning as a whole. Freezing has more effects than Burning. Burning requires time to actually be effective and doesn't affect how well you fight, while Freezing is brutal right as soon as it gets applied. Most Firebirds I see (there are not a lot of them btw) use Incendiary Mix because a lot of people use Heat Resistance/Immunity and everyone has Boosted Armor and a Repair Kit at the ready. I used to be a heavy Firebird main but I flat-out stopped using Firebird after the range nerf, and have only used it for a grand total of one battle since the range was re-buffed. I got a lot of kills (I used Incendiary Mix) but I don't really have any motivation to use it when literally every melee turret is more viable.

I missed yesterday's snowman, but I feel like today was definitely the better day to actually kill one, because Ultra Containers generally give better rewards.

These aren't all of the Containers I earned during the Special Missions; I had to open some prior to the sale so I could get some extra crystals to spend.

Massacre and Berlin are easily my two least favorite. Lost Temple is probably my 3rd least favorite; I don't like how the bases feel small and isolated from the rest of the map. Scope is also a pain unless I just constantly play in the tunnel.

10,000,000 exp reached: Ranked up on my Shaft-only RTL for the first time in months (I ranked up to Captain on August 12, 2021). This account had been parked for a while because of Shaft's reload nerf, but I started playing with it again now that the reload time is more tolerable with Light Capacitors (and I really want those 2022 Tankoins). I don't have any screenshots of the rank-up actually taking place because I died almost immediately after I killed someone, but as you can see it was very recent by the amount of experience I have.

I haven't changed anything except for Gold Boxes, which have moved from 6 to 9.
