Was the event mode tested at all? It's basically a kill farm for whoever is lucky enough to be the Juggernaut. You apparently need two hits with B0-NK to kill the Juggernaut, but it doesn't matter because the Juggernaut can one-shot you. You have basically no armor and compared to the Juggernaut, you move at a snail's pace. Come on, this is just ridiculous.

7 minute battles are pretty good, and 15 minute battles are too. However, I still vastly prefer 10-12 minute battles.

JGR is the Solo Juggernaut mode. Team Juggernaut will stay the same.

Nope, it’s for an event mode (not Arms Race)

If the Halloween paint of currently in the free tier of the Challenge, I wonder what the Holiday paint will look like. But anyway, I’m really excited for this. Halloween is one of the better events in my opinion.

I just completed the Special Missions. That means it's time to open more Containers: Not quite as many as last time, because I didn't buy the Battle Pass and don't plan to for this Challenge. I already have Healing Emitters and all of the other augments (except for Paladin HI of course), and I am not the hugest fan of the Nightmare paint. It's not bad, but there are tons of better ones in my opinion. Once again, my Containers are giving me pretty good rewards. Now there's no doubt that I'll keep doing this, and I'd recommend that you give it a try for yourself. Of course, I can't say for certain that you'll get rewards like I have, but in my opinion it's still more fun and interesting to open Containers in large batches, regardless of rewards.

If you check my profile, you'll see that I use Shaft a lot. I use it with Hornet, Dictator, and Crusader. My augments of choice are Adrenaline, Healing Emitters, and Light Capacitors (Although I don't really use the latter that much now that Heavy Capacitors and stock-equivalent augments have had their charging buffed). I play Control Points and I generally have my usual aggressive playstyle, going after points in Control Points and getting lots of kills. This is still the case when I'm using Shaft. I'm not the kind of Shaft that sits in the base with Heavy Capacitors. With this recent Shaft nerf, I just can't see any real way to have the freedom and mobility that I'm familiar and comfortable with. 10 seconds reload ON TOP of the time needed to charge just encourages camping because the vast majority of Shaft's damage is through the sniper shot, and having them that far apart just leaves me defenseless in an area of the map that's bound to have enemies nearby. I think that this nerf, while well-intentioned (because let's be real, Heavy Capacitors was definitely OP), was too much, and for the wrong parameter. Shaft's charging was too much, especially for augments like Heavy Capacitors. That particular augment needed a nerf the most, and Shaft overall was more or less fine.

I've come to the conclusion that I do not like this new look. The colors are too bright. It also feels like a mess of colors, hiding actual features.

I got fed up with pulling Commons from my daily Containers, so about a week ago I decided to save them and open them all during the weekend and see what would happen. When I was working on the Special Missions, I realized that I would have 59 Containers if I finished the Special Missions and bought the Battle Pass (I had already finished the Challenge at that point). I had about 65 Shards at that point so I decided to leave 14 Containers unopened and collect my 100 Shards in the morning, making 15 Containers. Enough of my rambling, here are the rewards I got: So overall it was worthwhile, and I'll definitely continue doing this. Of course, I won't have as many Containers to open because I won't always be buying an entire gold tier.

The hull is definitely Titan, the tracks stick out further than the rest of the hull's body, much like with Titan. As for the turret, that's more of a mystery. It could be Smoky or Railgun, but it could also be a generic tank turret that doesn't exist in the game.

Finished the Special Missions again. I'm really happy that I got a lot of crystals, especially after I spent some on the sale (1 MU for Wasp, Hopper, Crusader, Ares, Armadillo (going to 40%), and my non-50% modules (going to 47%)

Now that I've started borrowing a mouse to play Tanki, I've started using hover hulls. My favorite is definitely Crusader, as you can tell from my profile I started out with Adrenline Vulcan/Heat Immunity, but I've started using Adrenaline Striker/AP Immunity and I am in love with this combination. It's versatile but powerful, and the strafing provides great mobility, making it really good for maintaining aim so you can lock on (relatively) more easily. If you time your Overdrive and lock-on right, you can have some amazing synergy. I love using my OD on people in their dome and then giving them a salvo a couple seconds later. Four rockets is generally enough damage output where you can get multi-kills in the right situation. I've also had moments where my DD was on cooldown but it's ok because I got super lucky and had 2 crits in a 4-rocket salvo, which is still a really nice amount of damage. I don't have any screenshots of this sadly. So yeah, Adrenaline Striker/Crusader is my combination of choice, at least for right now.

Minor change that wasn't mentioned in the patch notes: AP Immunity has a new icon. It looks like this:

I don’t think the Nuclear Energy supply will change that much. There are only like 4 in the challenge, so you’d only be able to use one every 3 days or so (unless you saved them for a LONG time). Unless someone is obviously chaining ODs (either one right after another or in pretty quick succession) it’ll just seem like regular OD usage. We’ll see how it actually plays out in-game though, and I’m expecting to be proven wrong at some point. EDIT: Watch as someone saves up Nuclear Energy supplies and then goes on a nonstop OD rampage in several months.

Even as someone who uses Striker a lot, I gotta say that this buff isn’t needed. Striker pre-critical damage was balanced. Striker then got massive critical damage but that didn’t cause balance issues (*coughcough*Freeze*coughcough*) because Striker was already a rare turret and it’s one of the most difficult turrets. Tesla’s ~20% damage nerf is welcome and hopefully it’ll make things at least a little more normal.

You've been using an Mk1 hull lately. ? Mk1 Juggernauts have 5000 HP, which is a quarter of the health for an Mk8 Juggernaut. Use a different hull and you'll see the difference in HP and speed.

From 5:31 to 5:37, whoever is running the drawing just copy-pastes the list of winners into a new list, and then just presses "Start" again.
-
Am I the only one who finds it weird that after rolling the first 500 winners, they didn’t take those winners out of the master list and just continued? It’s entirely possible that someone could have entered only once but won twice because they got lucky enough for the randomizer to pick their name a second time.

I don't see why press accounts are even eligible to participate. I mean, the whole point of a press account is that everything is provided automatically.

The Tankoin giveaway hasn’t happened yet.

Yes I have used it, but as you can tell from my profile, I haven’t used it a lot. I find it pretty boring to use. From both using it and playing against it, I can say that it’s OP without a shadow of a doubt. No, not really. The infinite fire really makes it easy to use, and its cone angle is rather generous.

If you use Windows 10, you can press Win+Alt+G to record the past 30 seconds displayed on screen. You can also press Win+G to open the Xbox Game Bar. In the top left corner there'll be a button that you can click and it'll start recording your screen.

I started with Ares and Trickster, but then moved to Titan and Driver. I did notice you but I didn't see you very much because I guess we were at different sides of the map most of the time. I remember you were using Tesla/Viking

I was watching some of my old Tanki clips, and I found this one time about a year and a half ago when I somehow got a shot into the wall. ...I think? I have no idea what happened here. P.S.: The old Dynamic Lighting was just ?
