    Question: So Red team makes 3 points for every flag they bring to the point at the defenders base. And Blue team gets one point for every offensive player they kill. Is this how the point system works?

    I think the guy that said you need to be a Master Seargent misread the rules...I believe they are referring to the Lion Module, so your rank should be OK for the containers. I have to wonder if you counted your kills correctly or if you did them in ProBattles? Your profile shows that you have only made 609 kills since you started your account. Quote: Lion T-D protection modules will only be added to the players who reach the rank of Master-Sergeant rank at the moment the event ends, and if the players do not have the module. If your rank is lower than Master-Sergeant or you already have the module, there is no additional reward or compensation.

    Nah, I am not gonna bother with even the 400. I don't know where I'm at for kills after Daily Missions cause the Special Site only says <400 (gosh, so informative) I might need 300, 350, or 250 more. The DRUG expenditure is totally not worth it. Players are pressing as many 3-2-1s as fast as they possibly can. It is just not even close to fun. It's just grind grind grind grind....not for me thanks. I really like the battles like before where you could drive around and shoot other tanks. Now it's spawn, click your pre-chosen drug, shoot, die, spawn, click your pre-chosen drug, shoot, die, spawn, click your pre-chosen drug, shoot, die, spawn, click your pre-chosen drug, shoot, die, get 400 kills...yawn. Cupid is a great kit, but don't MU the M1 Freeze too much because the M2 Freeze comes up in just a few more ranks..Warrrant 5 or rank #15 I'm pretty sure. Then with a MUed Viking and an M2 Freeze you are devastating.

    It would be much handier and user friendly if the Special Site showed the number of kills...even if they are under 400. If this is too much server strain, maybe show the actual kill count over 100 or even 200. This is a very handy feature if it were accurate for any kill count. I didn't bother with checking my profile since this Special Site was in place and now I have no idea were I'm at in terms of kill count...well <400 :)
  5. It may stay though. If they pull the 3x rewards after this long it will cause a mass exodus.or, at the very least, lots of players dropping their daily mission chain and playing mostly Pro-Battles. Players will not go back to tiny weekly payouts. It will be interesting to see what happens. Your pusher analogy is spot on and that might have been Tanki's plan the entire time. They might compromise and make 2x weekly bonuses...who knows/

    Thanks. Have you used it? Do you think it is worth 50000 crystals? Stable Plasma is definitely worth 50K and for me is a "must have". 50K buys a lot of DD and repair kits.

    I had a bit of confusion about how to invite someone to be a friend. So maybe others might too. Anyway, the previous icon for invitations is gone. I just used the only "type here" bar and sent. It worked fine...my invitation was accepted. Cheers

    Let's Discuss Twins!

    The stable plasma is an absolute must for me. Getting rid of the splash damage is a real blessing and turns Twins into a beast. So yeah, go for the pricey stable plasma. Now, i need some input. How about the other alteration...the long distance one. It seems like you would shoot faster (cool) and farther. In the new revamped maps (like Highland) my impression is that heavy hulls/long range turrets seem to win the day. Maybe the 1st alt (far damage) for Twins might restore Twins to the beast they were before the new maps. Anyone have first hand knowledge of this alteration? I guess you get the splash damage back since you can't use them in tandem. Ideas?
  10. I think you are 100% right. Nerfing the Repair Kit was another negative update only designed to sell more repair kits. if anything it drove a few players away. Reducing the rank brackets made game play a little less one sided and gave lower ranked players a bit more of a chance. And, as you say, they are still too wide everywhere except the very lowest ranks.
  11. Everything is always a total blowout on all the new Daily Mission maps. You are either on the winning side or you are slaughtered with almost no reward for completing a 15 minute game. 100% discouraging. All the maps are all about the same now. All have too many players...10 per side is sooooooo very far from "ideal". With Vulcan, I can't stay alive long enough after spawning to get my turret to turn. It is obsolete in Standard battles now and useless for Missions. Thunder, Rail, maybe Shaft (Smoky should do well, but haven't seen many for some reason) all on heavy hulls like Titian are the only thing that works on these maps. Light hulls are just fodder and even Viking and Hunter get chewed up like they are M0 wasps. Tanki is like some Evil Energizer Bunny...it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse.
  12. And to add a point: There were an awful lot of people that liked playing Polygon as it was with one point. It would fill up faster than any other map. It was a slaughter-fest, but that is why it was FUN! Now it is just another boring map like all the other boring maps...homogenized into sameness for Tankis unfathomable purposes.
  13. How can someone call this skill anymore. Maybe skill pulls you towards the top end of the finishers but I've been playing DM and you never last more than a second, maybe two if you get lucky. How s it possible to exhibit skill in this time frame? EVERYONE is drugging as fast as possible. Decide if you want DD or DA before you spawn-in. Materialize as you punch your drug choice, then start firing as you aim. If you live long enough click the other double drug or maybe a speed, then the other drug...usually you are dead before that and maybe to killed 1 to 3 tanks in that short space of time. The maps are TOO CROWDED. There is no time to be crafty, it is just AGAR.IO. The revamped maps make this problem EVEN WORSE! It is a crime what Tanki has done to this game.
  14. Red team will now win 90% of Kungur CP matches. Red spawn-in spots are almost on top of one of the points and super close to three more points. Blue has to travel MUCH farther to their closest point than red has to travel to their farthest point.

  16. I've now played on most of the re-worked maps. My imrression is they have been homogenized and made very similar to all the other maps, just different graphics, not strategic values. Many of the things that made a map have a "personality" have been removed to be replaced with like emplacements. As I play more, I'm sure other stuff will pop out at me. The first thing that strikes me is all maps have large bases now. There are upper level areas on almost all maps now. As has been said previously, many new spots for Magnum to camp n' lob...most maps. I do think it is kinda funny how Wolfenstein has been noob proofed...all the castle "root" corners have been nerfed by putting barriers so the noobs won't flip themsleves by taking a corner to sharply. Turrets got nerfed and homogenized with many now having splash damage or losing their unique characteristic (Vulcan lost gyro aim, Isida self healing, etc) Hulls got homogenized; they all got closer to each others specs. Drugs became ubiquitous and everyone now has overdrives...again a type of game homogenization. Now maps have been made more similar. The devs seem to want Tanki so simple that a raw newbie is competitive with a seasoned vet. I guess they think it will make them more money, but I think it will just make players tire of the game more easily.
  17. Because shaft uses skill and most Magnum players just use slop shots, don't care about their K/D. and seem to just want to blow up stuff. Shaft relys on skill Magnum relies more on dumb luck.
  18. Magnum wins! Seems like the updated maps were generated with Magnum in mind. Tribute has a new Magnum slaughter point as does Highland. Even Massacre has barriers to keep Mags safe while lobbing slop shots at the opposition. So far so bad, but time will tell. I predict lots of complaints about even more Magnum advantage.

    Topic merge mania

    This is an interesting point and I had not considered it before...thank you for an insight. This would be a really great way to see relevant posts on a topic...I'd love to see you put this into the suggestion section. I have no idea if it is possible technically, but it would help a lot to be able to cull many of the less pertinent posts...at least less pertinent based on readers likes (or lack of likes in this case)

    Topic merge mania

    Oh, specifically, I just wrote a tounge in cheek topic that there needs to be a bounty on Magnums as a Public Service. Yes it was about Magnum, yes I did suggest a nerf, but I really wanted to hear what others had to say about this growing problem in the game...and not from the same posters that post on the Magnum thread. I asked for the topic not t be moved to "Let's Discuss Magnum" so the moderator merged it with an even more obscure topic "Magnum needs to be nerfed" which the only way I can even find it is to track my own merged post. My topic and post basically got tossed out, never to be read or commented on by anyone on the forum except the moderator that moved it and maybe the next poster that gets tossed into the same dead end.

    Topic merge mania

    Have you had trouble with getting your topic merged? You know, merged into some topic that is weeks and weeks old that virtually sees no light of day. What are some of your experiences with super tight topic control? i have had this happen many times. I want to get opinions about a specific topic and some over zealous moderator relegates the entire topic/thread to a section of the forum where very few people read. It is irritating and makes me want to not even bother writing. Merging topic like this is basically censorship at best and the trash can at worst. I know the mods have lots of work to do and kudos for them usually being pleasant about their jobs, but I think they take it too far sometimes. I feel they should let some of these remotely related topics play out a bit...see if posters are interested. If not, and there are few replys, THEN move the topic to a different location, but see if they have a life first. I doubt the mods get commission on anything so why not let the forum run free a little bit instead of such rigidity?

    What? Kinda cryptic there kiddo. If you are saying that your post did relate to my previous post, you might go back and actually read my original post and you will find that your post did have nothing to do with my post. You did bring up the subject of difficulty in acquiring crates, so I elaborated. I originally never said anything about hard work in grabbing black crates..you did, and you did it very sarcastically which I did not like...your mocking tone. This is getting too convoluted and is pointless to 99.9% of the forum readers. If you wish to pursue this further, I will answer your PMs. Cheers.

    Black Friday in Tanki!

    My post had NOTHING to do with keeping or removing the crates picked up. it also had NOTHING to do with ease or difficulty in picking up crates. My post, and tone of my post, was based on someone calling me and thousands of players "dishonest" and then later blaming players in the Black Rain for the 5 hours down time while Tanki fixed their mistake. You might try reading a bit more carefully before barfing out sarcastic comments. But, now that YOU bring it up, it was kinda hard collecting crates. You know what one gold box brawl is like right? Now, imagine doing that for two hours straight and tell me how easy the time passed. It was tooth and nail. max drugs, max repair kits, max aggression the entire time...no it wasn't easy and I think that is one of the biggest reasons participants are angry...not really because of losing all the crates. I personally think Tanki made the right call for once by recalling all the items and crates and I am grateful that they stepped up with some compensation...a pretty fair shake. In retrospect, I am just happy I got to be part of The Black Rain.

    I agree the roll back was probably the best solution . It is disappointing to lose all that stuff, but all in all it is not unfair to roll it back as Tanki has done...and then they stepped up with a consolation of 24 hours of Premium. In retrospect, it is a pretty fair shake (even though I used up a boatload of repair kits for nothing)
