In what odd reality is it the players fault that Tanki took 5 hours to fix their own coding bug and decide what to do about the results from their coding bug? That is ludicrous! Your point is so far from the mark it is almost insane. First of all the day started and boxes started falling all over the place. Most players thought it was another player dropping. The next game started and it was the same thing....NOBODY thought it was a glitch....EVERYONE thought it was a glorious Tanki event for Black Friday...finally something good from Tanki. I never left the Rio map because I thought it might only be happening on Rio. I think many other players felt the same. There were NO WARNINGS GIVEN...ZERO. Why did it take Tanki 2 hours to find this glitch?....did the mods not see the glitch? Had you been playing within those two hours you would have been exactly like the rest of us but you were probably sleeping. No warnings, no mods popping up to say it was a glitch....it just went on and on...WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS AN EVENT. Don't you naysayer sour grapes folk dare try to judge. Tanki screwed up and we paid the price in supplies and time wasted. Now they have stepped up and given all the participants 24 hours of Premium as some small compensation (which is appreciated...thanks Tanki) but it still won't cover all the lost supplies and the time can never be replaced not to mention the dire disappointment. Nope, unless that is even another glitch on top of this glitch. I never participated in the VK/OK event. So, my question still stands....I have Premium for 24 hours...is it a glitch or can I use it and be credited with the crystals I earn...or might they be in danger of being taken away. I don't want to use even more supplies to generate higher scores only to find out they have just been squandered due to another Tanki foul up.

So the %#$ at Tanki took away the containers and anything that was in containers. They also took away the crystals earned in the battles for the two hours of Black Rain and the rewards for the Daily Missions earned during those two hours but didn't replace any supplies used during those two hour battles. What a crock of pig shiitake mushrooms. That being said, in what twisted reality is it fair that I lost so very many supplies (like 100+ repair kits) for NOTHING...absolutely nothing, not even kills since that was not really anyone's focus? This is the WORST call Tanki could have made, the very worst....typical for such a &^%&$ company.

You are WAY off base here. This is NOTHING like looting. Looting is stealing an no one stole anything. This is more like company marking a product below cost by accident. If a customer buys that product, he is not stealing it...he is paying the advertised price. Retailers run into this lfrequently and 99.9% of the time just smile and absorb the loss. On top of that, Tanki is not really losing ANYTHING...it's all pixels and electrons...has no intrinsic value...ZERO.

Logically, since they are removing paints, they would have to remove unopened crates too since those crates might have paints in them. I'm afraid the best we can hope for at this point is keep the crys/supplies from the opened crates. I opened one crate and it had 3500 crystals...nice but it is not enough to even pay for a quarter of the rep kits I used.

So, 5 hours wasted...2 hours playing in the Black Rain and using a boatload of supplies; probably 100+ repair kits (about 20% of all rep kits I have ever used in the entire time playing Tanki) along with many dd,da, and speed. Now 3+ hours waiting around to see if the crates I caught get stolen by Tanki and waiting to finish my missions. Their glitch, so we players suffer...if Tanki only had a modicum of competition, they would have no players at all.

...and, as far as the real buyers go, Tanki might consider offering them MORE of something as compensation if they decide they need to do anything at all. Give those that bought containers in those two hours double containers. In other words if they bought 25 containers between the original restart and the shut down give them 50 containers....they also got to log in and collect containers like everyone else, so they already may have many more than they purchased and will probably want to keep them just like the rest of us black box collectors. I bet doubling their actual purchase and letting them keep the collected boxes would make all the buyers happy.

Personally, I think the best thing for them would be to just leave it alone, don't roll anything back and call it a fair mistake. Someone said it will ruin the economy of the game....not likely since there were only a few thousand players online and the game has tens of thousands of active players, probably a couple of hundred thousand active players. The real problem is that is diminishes the value of the containers that they sold, but that could be easily remedied by refunding some of the cash, or offering some other sort of pixel compensation to the actual buyers. But, in the real world, if you make a mistake as a business and your customer benefits from it, you smile and eat the loss...it is normal business. With Tanki, they actually lose NOTHING other than inconveniencing a few electrons. Only a short sighted petty company would take away what their mistake gave away. They even advertised that there would be these crates dropped so if they roll back to before the black rain, they will be bold faced lying. I beleive (and hope for my greedy self) that they will just let itt go and allow everyone to keep the crates they fought for.

So very true! I worked in retail for years and this is exactly what happens. The loss leaders you advertise get snatched up as soon as you open the doors in the morning to let in the waiting throng of shoppers. We were here at server restart, so I hope we are the lucky shoppers that got the promo stuff.

That was a WILD ride! I opened one crate and got 3500 crystals. I immediately dove back into Rio to collect more. I played for over an hour and a half and got about 55 boxes...I spent a BOAT LOAD of supplies to get those 55 boxes...and only opened the one. I sure as hell hope Tanki does not take them away. I will be livid.

OK, the number of accounts you really use. I have 2 accounts that I don't keep up the mission chain, but cherry pick missions here and there. I mostly use them for Pro-Battles two or three times a week, so I would say they are real deal accounts not like a bunch of accounts I made to try out different turrets and hulls.

The first question is for the number of accounts you really use and keep up with. An intact Daily Mission Chain is definitely one to be counted here. Also you might include an account or accounts that you might not maintain the Mission Chain, but use on a regular basis, I think many players have broken their Mission Chains to opt for playing in Pro-Battles and only do an occasional mission. I think you know which ones to count...the real ones...the ones you you play on all the time or intend to play on in the near future. The ones you have a real investment in (blood, sweat, tears, time, or money) =============================================================================================== The second question is about how many accounts you have altogether whether you use them or not. Any account you have that you could log into today and play...maybe it is only rank 2, but it's still open. Maybe you will never bother to play the account again, but you did open it and shoot some tanks at one point in time.

I think it is interesting that almost 70% of the respondents to this poll think that Tanki is less fun now than it was. Doesn't it make you wonder what the developers are thinking? I'm fairly business oriented and tend to think in terms of profit motive for most things. I just can't believe that the administration is trading quality game play for small, quick profits (supplies). In almost every business, you need to provide a good quality product for sustainable profits. Quality sells...in games, game play seems to me to be a major factor in assessing quality. Tanki seems to ignore the THOUSANDS of complaints from their players about poorly thought out updates and an overall degrading of the game. Why? WHY? Do they think that MM will be so cool that it will make up for the degradation already visited on the game? Personally, I would bet pretty big money that MM will degrade the game even further. I read somewhere on the forum (I'm kinda thinking something nives wrote) that Tanki will roll out some very new updates in Nov and Dec and may subsequently start trying to generate organic growth again. I wish them luck, but I just don't see how they can attract enough new blood to offset the mistakes of the past and the decimation of their old player base. I guess they are hoping for an environment that motivates a higher ratio of shop slaes per player. I hope that Tanki can roll out updates that will make the game really fun again like it once was in the past. This hope is the only reason I keep playing...I keep hoping things will get better eventually.

I would even take it as far as finishing in the top half...1st five places. But, even first three would be much better than the current 1st only. An actual 1st place could take the place of the old "collect one gold box" mission....maybe even 1st place on the winning team if the code would allow that easily. Give that 1st place a hefty reward like the old gold box mission had and the top three or five a normal-ish reward. Right now if I get the 1st place mission I automatically click it away. I get 1st place from time to time, but it is way too much pressure to get 1st place on demand like for a mission. I don't want to play 2 or 3 or 4 games just to get a reward of a few speed boxes and mines...no way...even the crystal rewards are nothing but ordinary for the current 1st place mission. One ProBattle and you make more crystals than you do on the current 1st place missions. I still don't read any of your posts GuidoFawkes since you are my only "ignore", but this was a very good idea for a poll, thanks...hope the devs see it.

Soooooooo, since there is no restart at 2:00 UTC, and servers will be down for maintenance from 05:00 till 06:00 UTC...does that mean new Daily Missions will not be given until server restart after 06:00 UTC ....or will they still be refreshed at the normal restart time of 2:00 UTC? ...giving players a chance to work on them between 2:00 UTC and 5:00 UTC?

I think your analysis is absolutely spot on. If there is only one post that ever makes it to the developers about supplies, it should be yours. Sadly, I feel that the powers that be are more concerned about short term profits from a few drug kits sales than the long term benefits of having a sustainable fun game...Bleeding the company dry or killing the golden goose. Tanki is promoting supply use heavily. This is a promo ad that popped up just after I ranked up to level 9 on a different account. The fact that we are given choke supplies in the mission chain rewards does nothing but make drugging par for the course...got hundreds or even thousands of them, why not use them? The Tanki Drug Fest is born. ...yeah I'm one of those seasoned players that abuses the newbies. And you are totally right, there are not nearly the amount of newbies there used to be and the real actual newbies don''t stand a chance since most of the players in the lower rank battles are just people that are tired of the high rank drug fests.
