Wow, 3:00 in the morning my local time. Guess you gotta please the majority, so much for Asia...and a lotta Russians too yeah?

Why only DM for Halloween? I hate DM. I use Isida and want to heal...I am so tired of DM missions, now it's DM Halloween and I'd guess some of the future holiday missions will be on the Halloween map...so more firggin' DM. I want team battles....Isida is a team turret.

There seems to be a typo between the Events Calendar and the Discount Calendar...they are reversed. Maybe a bit of clarification? Events Calendar says: 02:00 UTC November 2nd — 02:00 UTC November 3rd 50% on paints 02:00 UTC November 3rd — 02:00 UTC November 4th Discounts on MicroUpgrades and speed-ups Discount Calendar says: Discount: 50% & 70% on Micro-Ups & Speed-Ups Starts: Nov 02 at 02:00 UTC Ends: Nov 03 at 02:00 UTC Discount: 50% on Garage Paints Starts: Nov 03 at 02:00 UTC Ends: Nov 04 at 02:00 UTC

Please, please, please, no 10 flag missions
-
The Halloween missions used to be fun with the big rewards, but now the 10 flag mission will be close to impossible with the new idiotic UBL. I hope they get rid of the 10 flag mission this year for Halloween After playing Tanki with the UBL for a week or so, I'm getting burnt out on Tanki. It is fun once in awhile, but mostly it is just a grind to complete a mission. .....and I'm sick to death of 80% of all missions are in DM. I use Isida...I want to heal my teammates not kill everyting in sight.

It's a shame that they are going ahead with matchmaking...pointless with the UBL already in place. MM will only reduce our choices and make waiting for a battle a constant occurrence for no benefit what so ever. Tanki is just blind. I had to laugh at the Vlog....New players are too confused by the battle list..OMG ! Give it a rest you condescending fools! First off there are very few NEW players in Tanki since Tanki stopped advertising cold. And I seriously doubt ANYONE ever had much trouble with finding a battle even on their first day with Tanki. Gimmie a break spin doctors! You have THOUSANDS of complaints from dedicated players about the ludicrous updates you continue to make, and you do zilch about the disliked updates, but you change the interface to accommodate phantom newbies that have never logged a complaint or comment that Tanki was too difficult to figure out. This is why everything you say is subject to such negativity from the community. You stretch and spin everything you utter to fit your agenda. And the rationalizations are usually ridiculous...this protion of the Vlog is a perfect example of this. Credibility: not in the Tanki lexicon

I started playing a few months before the paint separation and thought Tanki was great. I also thought the administration and developers were generous and genuinely cared for their player base....I felt community. Like you, it was about the time of the paint seperation that all of that seemed to change rapidly for the worse. Now I feel like they do nothing but try to justify their poor decisions with tortured rationalizations and smarmy spins that are insulting to anyone that can read...all in the name of greed and blind change. What they have done now with the UBL has made Tanki boring and tedious. I am very disappointed to lose a game I really ennjoyed.

Like many people here I think I will not bother with my mission chain any more. I intend to keep playing Tanki but in Pro Battles (until the devs ruin them somehow). I will still do missions that reward crystals, but won't bother with lame missions like 7 dd boxes for 4 speed and 5 mines. I did in the past to keep up with the mission chain, but I find the regular battles in the UBL era boring at best, tedious at all times, and frustrating at the worst. Sooooooo, Forget it. I just won;t bother with all the missions. MatchMaking can only make this bad situation worse, so eventually I would break my chain anyway. It is just a shame that they have ruined this game...blind, foolish, and kinda stupid really.
-
I think the developers have tried to make Tanki less strategic, less skill oriented and easier for noobs to play effectively. That is why they nerfed all the turrets, and homogenized the hulls and turrets...they called it "re-balance". They get a newbie, the newbie does pretty well with Firebird (little real skill required in my opinion), and he sends Tanki money for that shiny new kit and a crap load of crystals. Now battles are crammed full with this unified battle list. It is just a slaughter factory and very Agar.io like. Some skill helps you, but supplies and equipment win the day. When there are a zillion players in a battle it is just shoot shoot die shoot shoot die...little skill involved even if you have skills. Anyone can play this game now and be competitive which makes the game kinda boring now...at least in regular battles. And most of us still do the regular battle to keep up with the mission chain. I'm ready to break my chain and only do missions that reward crystals. I'll only play in Pro Battles until Tanki ruins them somehow (they will since it is still the only good thing left in Tanki). I won't make as much without the weekly payouts, but maybe I will be less frustrated and have more fun rather than waste time in frenzied shoot shoots.
-
Make the rank brackets smaller....the battles are to complete capacity with this unifryed battle list, so give the players a break and make the rank brackets smaller. Narrower rank brackets will make the competition more closely matched...balance like Tanki used to spout...balance. 12 and 14 ranks higher (or lower) is too wide. Rank brackets should encompass about 5 ranks...7 at the very most...not 12 or 14...but 5...or 7. You would still have full battles and the lower ranked players wouldn't be just fodder. The frustration level would be reduced dramatically and some strategy might re-enter the game instead of just Agario style gameplay a la Tanki; shoot shoot 3 shoot shoot shoot 2 shoot 1 shoot shoot shift shoot shoot shoot die repeat.

Two points to salvage what is left of Tanki before it is too late: !. Reduce the Rank Brackets. Based on past Tanki history, the unified battle list won't be repealed, so it is here to stay. It's one biggest problem, through all the ranks is the large rank brackets. Previously in another idiotic update you increased the rank brackets...now they need desperately to be reduced again. I have an another account at rank 13 and I had to play against rank 25...That is preposterous! That is low M1 (maybe even some with M0) vs M3 and M4. Battles are now crammed full...I guess this was you goal Tanki, so now you could reduce the rank brackets and players might be able to enjoy battles more rather than just being cannon fodder. It would be less frustrating to play against a more evenly matched field at all times and would solve some of the mission problems that people are having. In fact, if the rank brackets were reduced to what the were a few months ago, most of the problems players are complaining about on this thread would not be problems any more. Incidentally, I now spend a lot more time waiting around for a slot in an appropriate battle to open up than I ever did surfing servers for a battle. Reduce the rank brackets and the game becomes less frustrating...Tanki keeps players. 2. Don't inflict MatchMaking on us. What could MM possibly bring to the game at this point? ...Other than giving players even less choice and control over the game. All the battles are full and Tanki controls the index of maps that we play on. MM will only force us onto maps we don't choose in battles we don't choose with rank brackets we have no control over. I just can't see any possible advantage to MM after the unified battle list update....weren't full battles the goal of MM? OK, goal accomplished...drop the MatchMaking idea and leave players a modicum of choice. Tanki keeps players. After a couple of days of this unified battle list, these two points stand out even more...please pay heed to these points Tanki and salvage what is left of this game.

Tanki, you need to re-think and revamp the daily missions to match the new unified battle list. One solution might be to cut the price of the "Mission Choice" by 50% or 75%. One change free, the next 20% of the current price, next 40% of the current price, etc. Or, just let people cycle through mission choices for free. It's good you already modified some like the 2x and 3x 1st and the gold box catch but you need to go much further. Probably the best missions now are XP in specific battle modes. For mid to higher ranks, crystal missions are a pain in the butt but they are OK too. For all players XP and crystal missions are doable and promote game play. Even the one "Finish 1st" has to go. There are many players that will never be able to accomplish this...there are just too many players in each battle now and the rank brackets are much too wide...8 and 9 ranks between players is ridiculous. The crystal missions are fine at higher ranks, but they are hell for the ranks below about rank 11. Even with OP equipment it is difficult to accumulate 200 crystals when each kill is only 2 or 3 crystals and an entire battle fund may only have 200 crystals. You are forcing even strong OP players to play two or three battles to complete one mission and weaker noob players will have to play for hours. Sure, you fill up games, but it is frustrating as hell and it will discourage low ranked players. They will stop playing, guaranteed. If their income supply runs dry or is just too difficult to obtain they will stop playing. The box missions need to go. I saw many cases of players camping on drop locations instead of playing the game. If you must keep them for diversity's sake, cut them to collect 2 or 3, not 7 or more. These box missions have a negative impact on pame play.

I tried to add "and previous to last year" into the "no" response, but couldn't edit it...sorry. I hope those that think it was more fun a couple or three years ago will make their vote predicated on the one year choice....in other words I hope you consider 0ne year one year or more.

I don't really know if a link is allowed but, in light of the new unified battle list (which I think is a terrible idea), I would like you to answer a quick, yes/no/dunno poll in the general discussion section about whether Tanki is more fun now or a year ago: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=364133 Thanks.

I'm just sick to death of seeing a game I really enjoyed playing getting worse and worse and worse with every update... Is there ANYONE that thinks Tanki is more fun today than it was a year or two ago?

Why are missions supposed to be hard,,,just because they are missions? Tanki wants players. Players want in-game income. If players don't get income, like from big mission chain payouts, there will be less players. Tanki tanks. It will be a small conversion rate to get the current "Free" players to become "Buyers" If I'm right, there will be significantly less players within a month...watch. If I'm wrong there will be the same number of players. Either way the game is not improved.
-
Well Tanki, I think you have stuck your foot in it this time for sure. Missions, for many, will become much harder to complete. I base this on how many people I see at all hours of the day doing missions on slow servers in sparsely populated battles. As with everything you update there will be less choice now. Less choice, harder missions, less in-game income = fewer players As I have said prevously, I expect of see a 25% drop in players within a month of tomorrow. As the missions take longer, more players will break their mission chains. When the mission chain is broken, there is no reason to log in everyday. Many players will become just casual players...a game here or there, but nothing serious like folks that need to keep up their mission chain. Oh well, everything changes... Hey you could rename the game Tankar.io

Some people have been saying how long the battle lists will be. It occurs to me that they won't be that long since everything will be created from one nexus point, The Battle Button. Now there are many battles of the same mode on the same map because there are 24 server choices. The unified list will act like one server for all intents and purposes and only create another battle in a specific mode like CTF or CP when previously created battles are full. or about to finish. In other words there will not be 17 Kungur CTF battles to choose from..there will be only one or two and these will be packed up. Overall, I don't know if this will be good or bad. It will certainly make missions harder. If it would keep the Dread Matchmaking away, I would welcome the unified battle list since at least you still have a little control and can still choose your map and rank brackets to some extent. MM will remove all choice for completing missions which is terrible and a real loser idea, but Hazel seems to be "Damn the torpedoes, Full speed Ahead!". Tanki keeps moving to "Freedom from Choice"...at least they still let us choose our own equipment even though they did homogenize the crap out of all the hulls and turrets. I believe that the ability to control so much of the older Tanki game is one of the reasons it was a great game. All the choices we had keep getting pruned away bit by bit...the unified battle list is just another bit of freedom chipped away.
