This topic has been open for awhile so let's just wrap it up. The best answer to the question here is, "Because girls are smarter than boys".
-
Amazing isn't it? But not in a good way. :o  :P :D

Thanks for replying. Just today I saw a video about a Flat Earther convention. So you never know . . .

I was wondering what the connections was/ I should have known. Duh, :) Yeah. Stiff wire and springs were not invented unttl after 1969. It's called fast shutter speed. White spacesuits 10' away are brighter than stars. Look into how photography works. Lord have mercy I hope these are intended as snark.

Good idea. Gold Boxes already detract too much from the game. Probably 50% of all Tanki players care more about catching a GB than winning the game they supposedly are playing. How many times do you see 2, 3, 4, or more teammates with gold stars floating over their heads ll game long? Gotta save it for the GB!!!!!!

"cycloptic" ... Word of the day.... love it. :)

Not many responses so far I guess. But still I am a bit surprised to see my least favorite maps seem are leading the poll. They are on my list because they tend to be the shaft campgrounds.

Smoky with either Viking or Titan.

Life is a journey; bon voyage.

^^^ IMO the RK is just fine as is. ^^^
-
Nope. That is not at all how it works. That helps aim but it in not a 100% sure hit, Sytiker more deadly than Shaft? Hyperbole.

a "right" roflmao You posted in public. The public posts back. Welcome to reality.

Better idea is to leave the RK as it is right now. But make splash damage less pervasive in the game.
-
Yeah Dusseldorf is a great map and Smoky works just fine on it. I miss that one. It wasn't in play that often, but when it was it usually attracted full teams.

And here I thought Tanki Online was a driving / shooting 3d combat game. Now I learn it is a cross between Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Maker. It's really about catching gold rings ... sorry, boxes and making your tank look pretty.

Added a 4th one I'd missed: Future. Sorry about that. Reminder: you can always delete your vote and re-vote.

That may or may not be true. From my reading it is not true. But none of us know how it really is coded.

valid Self-destructing still gives people who damaged you points.

What do you mean by "strategic maneuvers"? I use the +impact smoky ammo and I am always looking for ways to hit the enemy to flip them. i don't care that I don't get points as it helps my team. When I flip 9all the time with vulcan / wasp) I hope an anemy blows be up so I do not lose the points and the kill. I guess this is not a bad idea itself. But it should be part of a comprehensive look at how points and Cry are awarded. -
Yeah I never sit in one spot. I don't just camp at the base and shoot until flowing red. I cannot afford to on a Wasp hull. I use the Wasp speed to move from firing spot to firing spot. Bullets keep coming from unexpected angles. With 50% weak damage you an do considerable damage at the longest range, you might not score a kill outright but then again I often do. You can also help teammates all over the map. It is alo pretty good for attacking enemies on higher elevations. It's a great combo on Parma and Deathtrack to nane a couple. For Freeze if the ambush you they get you. But due to the hit and run style you do not get ambushed too often/. That leaves short rangers trying to close in on you. But the wasp is also fast.. so you back up and hose down the attacker. As far as circle-strafing goes, you can swing that gun around faster than people think on a Wasp. Railguns are my bane as they tip me over so easily when they hit me from the side. As for circle-strafing I can't say that happens too often... the Wasp is too fast to be circled. In fact I have circle-strafe killed with the Vulcan. You are right about this, " Basically every weapon has its good and bad points and can kill easy if they know his equipment and the enemies equipment ". Vulcan/Wasp is actually pretty killer and it definitely is a lot of fun.

Wow we share many map opinions. :) My main weapon is Smoky and it is OUTstanding on Massacre. When I was learning it was the first map I felt gave me the old "home field advantage". that was even before I moved to assault ammo. With big impact and uneven terrain enemies often just miss you completely. Every game and team is dfiferent of course. But quite often I mange to get to the enemy rear (Viking) and then it is feeding time on Shafts and Magnums. With Titan I often operate near that central mount with the billboard laying waste to tanks comin' 'round the mountain when they come (they go 'boom').

Missed Red Alert and Silence. Rats on me, thank you to you.. A-editing I go. --- We have a lot of overlap in the like/dislikes list. I like Parma but that is with Wasp/Vulcan or Striker. I tend to avoid it with my other combos. Massacre is by far my favorite map. Yes it is wide open for snipers. But if you hug the terrain you can avoid a lot of their threat. The uneven terrain makes aiming and shooting on the move challenging. I used to really like Highland but now Magnum has really reduced the fun on that map.
-
"Hate" is a strong word. I really just mean, which maps do you try to avoid. Like Maf I will play on most of these maps if that is where the game I need is (with the exception of Lost Temple CTF). But there are many I prefer to avoid if I can.

Basic Battle Map Poll - Most / Least Favorites
LittleWillie replied to LittleWillie in Basic Battle Map Poll - Most / Least Favorites Archive
Battles in the Pro section are created by the players. So it is easy to see which Pro Battle maps are the most popular. But Basic Battle maps are chosen at random by the system. You have to chose from the maps currently in play. So which ones do you seeks out? Which ones do you avoid? And what else do you have to say about this stuff? Comment away. [i hope I did not miss any. --- I did, Forest,,,out of order added at the end.] -

You get more Cry even if it is just one. That is not "absolutely nothing". -

When an enemy self-destructs he loses a kill and some pints. That will lower the end of game Cry payout. In TDM self-destructs subtract 1 kill from the team total. in other words what you are asking for is already in the game.
