When Twins can out-fight Vulcan at long range, then there is something wrong with Vulcan., There is something wrong with Vulcan. Perhaps if it has USEFUL alterations such as Twins has, Half the turrets have useful atterations. the other half have bad alterations or none at all. So much half-completed stuff in TO. Anyone who half-performed like this in any of the professional jobs I've had would have been fired long ago.

You clearly do not understand. Without the "celebration" I complete 1 to 3 missions / day. I gather those rewards. At the end of the week I get a weekly bonus. With the "celebration" I complete 0 missions / day. I get nothing.. When 7 days pass, I get nothing. Over the course of one week "celebration" I obtain at least - at least 15k fewer Cry than I would otherwise. Now do you see my point? No, it does not take the same amount of time. I just completed a "celebration" mission that took my 5 full games to finish. That was my easiest misison of the three. In a normal system I would have at least one mission I could do in one battle. One hour fifteen ,minutes is a longer commitment than 15 minutes. And maybe I do not want to play an hour plus of one single mode, Maybe like most days I want to finish one mission not three. Capiche? Furthermore this announcement from Tanki is telling me to not play go do something else. Niw this is probably good avice. But it is a terrible marketing tool. It is in TO's interest to entice players to play. Here we have them telling us to not play. All because of damage control attempts at a dumb decision to begin with, that being the decision to triple the requirements t finish every single mission. Once again, what exactly is wrong with the Wear Holiday Paint type missions? If they had kept that I could just change out of the Wear Holiday Paint mission and play normally... you know .. the way I enjoy playing. But hell, my sense of fun isn't the important thing I guess. When the holidays are over the chain will still be intact where you left it. It sounds like they are saying: Do not play TO during the holidays. As always, genius marketing from TO. SMH. So the holiday "bonus" is ---- you get to LOSE your daily mission income. You get to LOSE your weekly payouts. But at least you do not lose your position in the chain. This is acceptable to TO? Thank you for that clarification. But even up there in this narrow example it is possible a 3rd tank will hit one of you in mid-RK use. That being said yes of course some weapons are better at disrupting RK use than others. Some weapons kill in one shot which is another way of "disrupting" RK use. My smoky might keep you from getting full benefit from an RK but your rail might kill me before I even can consider it. RK supprsesion is just one aspect to balance between turrets. IMO there re several mosr significant aspects.

TO said the "Come in 1st Place 3x" missions would be removed from the game. Guess what mission I have? For a handful of supplies? They cannot even remember their own promises.

Good point Medicguy. But at least that fiasco affected everyone equally and they un-did the damage. In this one magnu,m exploiters got many kills and Cry they they get to keep, so far as I know. Another idea would be to test the s/w before setting it live. What a bunch of noobs.

EVERY SINGLE MISSION IS TRIPLED. Cap 10 CPs is now 30 for example. The quickest mission I have is get 15 boxes. That one is not bad but all the rest are get like 3000 exp or 1500 Crys. You are right. This REQUIRES players to glue themselves to the TO chair during the holidays. TO is pathetic at customer relations and this shows how out of touch they are. What BS. Oh well I guess I needed poush out of the game. DM-only holiday maps and ridiculous daily missions loook like they will do it. Make no mistake ... once the daily mission chain is gone the only thing keeping me interested is also gone. SMH at the gross stupidity.

Every mission I am getting is going to take like 5 times lomngr than a normal mission. One or two is OK so long as there is a mission I can do in a reasonable time 3-4-5 hours is not "reasonable". I noticed 99% of all Magnum users GLEEFULLY exploited this glitch.

Just played a game in which a Magnum would release at LESE five shells every time it fired. Do not know if it is a hack or a bug but I saw it directly several times. I know the name 100% certain. Not sure I shouold post the name publicly though. How to report this?

Well I have played my last game on Silence. I will be damned if I provide easy kills for the 3 or 4 Magnums that just lob shells down ff the heights. Fix. Magnum.

I have an average of just under 300k on my accounts to spend. I will buy some more backup modules and MU the backup ones I already have. My hulls, turrets, and primary modules are already max MU. The special map and special missions may as well not exist for me. I do not play DM anymore. I do not chase gold boxes. If one falls in my lap of course I take it but I do not chase them. So for me the holidays boil down to one day of module sales and one day of MU sales. I ad anticipated an interesting map and missions like last year. TO really phoned it in this year.

So duck behind cover and use the RK. The straight 1 on 1 battle with no one else on the map represents << 1% of all TO combat. So why is this the example give on RK? Is how the RK works the only criterion you use to select your turret?

So once again lik Halloween the special map and the special missions will be DM only. So once again no special missions of maps for me.

I liked assault mode last year at Christmas. Big map. Large tams. Special missions so the battles were always full, No overdives filling every square meter with mines. And two defense points. Blue could not just jam every tank around the flag and spam OD. The most effective defense was the active defense - counter-attacking red team. The whole giant map was in play. This year during my second try at AS mode I was already feeling bored.

Making the different would not be the end of the world. Not even close. But right now it's up to experience and instincts. After a while you are almost always right. I say leave it up to experience and instinct.

Absolutly there is more to playing Isida than just beaming heals. I played a game on Highland CTF the other day with a Dictator/Isida and shooter tanks who knew how to coordinate. We made about three steals in a row. The shooter was the tipof our spear busitn through while we healed. Then on retreat the Dictator backup healing the flag carrier. I followed the flag carrier healing it and absorbling shots. The flag was in a healing sandwich. Sure I blew up but the flag got back all the time. At worst the Dictator isida would survive to pick it up.If he did he always gave it away. Many players are very generous with giving flags for the caps. That game the team gave me two or three. I made sure to give the dctator one. It was embarrassing to be given it so often. :huh: (I also like to give the big magnum who pays defense the entire game a cap so long as I do not have a cap mission.)

No you are absolutely right about the Isidas. Some think they have to weld themselves to your butt. When I play Isida I pride myyself at driving through a maze of team mates healing them, bumping no one, and staying out of their LOF. Equalt time time, so many shooters do not know how to use an Isida either. Screen my tank with yours. Don't run for cover and leave me hanging. If I am there to heal you when we need to break a defense that is the time to dial up the agdrerssion not keep playing peek-a-boo in skrimish mode. Players should play both to know how "the other side" tihnks.,

You saw so many Rails in the "old days?" for the same reson you see so many Magnums today. The old Railgun was OP. Today Magnum is OP. There are always gamers who go for whatever is the OP gear of the moment. But today Rail is stil one of the most-used turrets in the game. I do not htink I ever see a game without one or more.. I do see games w/o striker, freeze, smoky, vulcan, hammer, quite often.
