Please stop. Hornet had 2+ years of God-Mode-ON. Now that Devs finally nerfed it, it needs to stay that way.

Ummm... Defender IS DA. They are a package team. So if you ignore DA you are ignoring Defender. Your "argument" is all over the place on the game mechanics. "deal less damage than neutrally"? What? Without OD you have no chance of destroying max-protected enemies. With OD you definitely have a chance, even if it ignores just the highest. Only some enemies will be under ALL those protections you describe, and only some of the time. And yes, Titan does have a place in this discussion as the ODs overlap in how they interact. There's no point in some ODs having massive effects on enemies that have ODs active while other OverDrives are useless when enemy ODs get involved. Count the time in battles where an enemy does not have OD (and Titan had it's OD). That time is very, very low. By the Time Titan gets an OD plenty of enemies have OD that will most certainly ignore it or even nullify it. What's the point of deploying an OD when you know the second you do - it will be nullified one way or another.

When you say "counter" do you mean ignore? Or actually negate? The Dome currently reduces hopper heat effect by 85% right?

How you figure? Unless you have the fire immunity (can't buy with crystals) you have to start/stop firing. It's not insta-kill so targets, especially protected ones, have options - get under cover, use RK, activate DA, activate OD, etc. It certainly has weaknesses like terrible tracking up close - they are quite vulnerable to melee turrets. You may want to re-thing your evaluation of it. -
First off - what the heck does "deal sufficient and consistent amount of damage" mean? Is the Titan dome, as an OP defense, supposed to protect it from all incoming attacks? Currently there are 6 ODs that counter it. SIX. Where's is Titan's right to be safe in it's dome that just sits there? And if the target has ALL those defenses you describe (worst case scenario), of course you should do less damage. Overdrives are not supposed to put you into God-Mode-ON. Players like you have become way too reliant on that. Have some pride and use some skill for crying out loud.

It ignored too many layers of protection and lasted too long. It made the spending of millions of crystals on modules a waste - since at any given moment in battles there was a hornet with OD active. MAF had a very good suggestion in that Hornet ignores only the highest form of protection. So it would bypass a Titan Dome and if that did not exist it ignored DA, and so on. I think that suggestion should have been adopted instead of what they actually chose. Titan domes are still somewhat irrelevant as everyone on hornet team now ignores it. And as more players get the AP augments it will become even worse.

Not right now it isn't. Medium hull with Defender, due to 2x health has 18,000 health. A 50% module will cancel out DD. Even with buffs to short-range turrets it takes a long time to destroy a tank. I was averaging 5-7 kills per battle using freeze, the only buffed turret that account has. 17 battles to complete a daily mission is not most people's definition of "easy".

Yeah, when I made comments that some people did not like they visited my profile and commented on my K/D below 1 (I think it was like 0.95). Of course they fail to bring up the hundreds of hours I had in Isida - target number 1, even aside from the flag carrier.

Hence my mention of google translate. One reason you see fewer Dictators right now is because the OD does not help them get kills, especially against the 2x health. And for whatever reason, teammates will not go out of their way (at all) to get the boost. I type "100" into chat all the time and never see anyone. The 6 vs 6 right now also hurts as there are fewer tanks to boost = less opportunity.

I was thinking in more of a general case when I read your post. But in this case the "you" was more specific, so technically at Lt. Gen I guess Nephilim could have bought an M7 kit If enough crystals were saved up. But MatchMaker allows for really, really stupid team makeups, and Brigadiers can end up playing way above their weight-class. And even a Lt. General with a newly purchased mk7 kit is at a huge disadvantage when entering a battle with pretty much a stock set-up vs. L10+ with high modules, maxed drones and mk7.20 items.

With the way MatchMaker works, it is not uncommon for Brigadiers to play against Legends. The Kits available for crystals start at Lt. General. What exactly is a Brigadier doing wrong in that case?

Can't believe we have another TEN DAYS of this! ? As soon as I get the Tier I want in Challenge I'm parking it - playing only in "complete # battles" or "collect # supplies", if even that...

Just left a battle where a hopper was grabbing our flag before our team even loaded. It is just stupid the way DEVS refuse to fix that. I will leave every single battle where enemy gets a flag before defenders load.

Of course it can. The team-mates it is helping have to be there too - all those benefiting from dictator have to be in a certain radius. But it's silly to suggest they can't do this under cover. ?

I'm just gonna wait till tomorrow and change it - I'm not playing 16 battles to get one mission done. But that sux as I lose 70 stars. It's just ridiculous they do the 2x armor but don't alter mission requirements.

Just got a DAILY mission to kill 100 tanks. ONE HUNDRED. During this idiotic experiment. COME ON! ? And it's the same steaming ? maps everytime. I get repeat maps over and over and over.

You having trouble figuring out how much damage each turret does? Thunder avg damage < 1000. So even with DD you won't get one-shot. And NOW you are talking about spawn-killing? You forget about spawn protection? Not even Hornet can damage that now. Compare apples to apples when you try to make a point.

How exactly? Anyone can somehow do this? Is it all items or only specific items? Anyway - they WILL have to fix that bug, else there's no point to having ranks.
