    And as the proportion of smaller maps increases, so does Hoppers effect on modes like rugby, assault and ctf. Their "flying" ability will cover a disproportionate amount of the map and they will be scoring more often. E-X-I-T.
  2. I mean in terms of "efficiency". An isida healing the flag carrier is always killed first and can easily have a very low k/d. It's just dumb to give that Isida a lower efficiency because of k/d. Has no relevance to that tank - should not be a factor.

    Yes. But the Dome remains. So another team-mate can still use the dome for remaining time. Might not be taken advantage of all the time, but the possibility exists. Especially in your own base.

    If he's gonna score if you don't take action might as well force the other Titan to use it sooner. The farther from the cap-point the better.

    Correction - it's not immunity to fire. It's immunity to afterburn.
  6. Hard to believe that counts AT ALL. It's a useless stat admired only by campers. I mean, do you really want 5 campers on your team in a CP battle?

    Not bad. I'd go with... - increase lock-on time - remove the boost it received to sniping reload - add splash back to arcade and remove splash entirely from snipe. It's an EMP shot not High Explosive. The parameters Devs set up for the augment make no sense.

    Certainly helps the Titan has Defender Drone - 12,000 health is hard to kill. And your defending Titan died on the doorstep with OD unused.... For that last cap why did you wait to use your OD? If you had used it as soon as you saw the Titan you could have allowed all your team to destroy it - Dome or no Dome.

    wasp bomb does not actually disable it - just does a whole lot of damage. If a Titan under the dome with DA/Defender on gets as far away from bomb as possible inside the Dome it might survive. I'm not a fan of Titans canceling each other. I never liked that change.

  11. I'd even prefer a shot effect (for a turret I have). But more paints? It's an awful "Epic" reward since 1) I already have 40+ paints 2) You can only equip 1 paint and 3) it does nothing for me in a battle. Just a way for the Devs to get us to spend $ when we get crap from containers. It's false hope.

    If you can find any source that says it is armor I love to see that. "The generator is an intangible object that does not interfere with the movement of tanks and cannot be destroyed."
  13. Just opened 15 containers (at once). 6x 3500 crystals, 8x supplies and ... drum roll... Paisley Ice paint (it's just brutal this thing is Epic) Commons, uncommons and a very, very weak "Epic". What a load of garbage.

    The P2W augments they keep adding and the 5-minute battles they are adopting will be the final nails in the coffin for TO. Soon to follow TX to the graveyard.

    When you die, you leave the battle for a moment then reappear. Since you are reappearing, this "version" of your tank was not present on the map when the hornet OD was activated and thus not susceptible to it's effects. As for the dome - not classified as armor. They have changed the OD and called it called Armor Piercing. Since the Dome is not armor, the OD should not affect the Dome (even though we all know it actually does). Basically they've rendered the Dome useless for all F2P tankers as we know more and more buyers will accrue the AP augments and it won't just be hornets punching through the Dome. It's dumb. But in long run won't matter because all the attention-lacking players out there will "like" the 5-minute battles and I have no interest in continuing the game when that gets permanently adopted.

    Those quotes are from the WIKI and reflect how it works NOW. Before, even if you exited battle the same hornet could kill you again. My last part is about how the current version of hornet OD only affects things (tanks) that are visible at the time of activation. So... a Dome (which is not classified as armor) that is placed after the hornet OD was activated, should IMO, not be affected.

    That's not the explanation Devs give. "The death or exit from the battle of the tank that applied this overdrive terminates the ability of himself and all his allies." Spawn protection has nothing to do with it. It's the fact that 'version' of the enemy was not on the field when the OD was activated.

    "Drops a protective dome generator. The dome significantly increases damage resistance within its perimeter." Don't see the word "armour" there. It's a force-field, as opposed to actual armor like that given by Double-Armor ("Doubles the armor of your tank for 30 seconds.") They changed the mechanics and definition of what hornet OD does. That should also be reflected in what it affects. Plus it does not address the issue of deploying the Dome after a hornet activates it's OD. if the OD only affects things "there" at moment of activation, why is it affecting a Dome deployed later? Like re-spawning enemies.

    There is no team-work unless you join in a group. This will just create more deaths. Surprised they didn't just make it one map - Island. That will generate deaths, right? And 5 minutes? What a joke. It's bad enough you get placed in 6-min battles. Now it will be more like 4.5 minutes by the time you load. NO. THANKS.

    I agree. It seems the Devs hate Titan for some reason. And it shouldn't be that way. The dome is not armor, so how can it be broken by what they call AP rounds? Also, what if you deploy the Dome after the hornet uses OD? Why should dome be affected? It's kinds dumb - especially since any hull can get the AP rounds as augment. Making Titan just useless.

    6 vs 6 on smaller maps LOL for 5 minutes??? Why not make all MM maps = Island. That will keep people in the battle ALL THE TIME. No point in having any strategy AT ALL. TO keeps dumbing down the game with every change. That will be two weeks (or more) where I don't play any battles.

    Individually there is a bit of a nerf. The hornet now only has advantage on enemies that were within LOS when OD was activated. Enemies out of sight will not be affected. BUT - team-wise it could be huge advantage. Those affected are vulnerable to all enemies. The dumb part though with this change is... the Titan Dome is not armor - so how can it be "broken"? Especially if the Dome is deployed after the OD is activated. Correct. It's the target that is affected now, not the hornet-user.

    So now it's Wasp bomb and Viking OD to kill JUG I guess. Some ODs still get advantages over others while Hunter and Hornet ODs are useless against JUG.
