Gauss is weak up close. Consider upgrading your Freeze as well. 2 good combos at your rank offers decent flexibility.

At least Hunter has to expose itself and get close to do this. Gauss does it from afar. And the buff to reload is the extra kick to the batteries...

Golds are just a bonus. Anyone complains about being killed during a gold-drop is a whiner. One falls in my lap - obviously claim it. Otherwise... cap a flag or use the opportunity to get extra kills.

Not the same thing at all. It only takes 1 hornet with OD to kill a spawner multiple times - die-spawn-die. Has happened to me multiple times. Viking can't do that, even with OD. Likley has ended by time you finish spawning, and then you can hit DA because that always refreshes when you spawn. Viking also has << killing a Titan spawning who has its OD ready. Hornet gets 20 seconds of this. And has no range on it's impact. Very few hornet players above Major are as weak to kill as you suggest. Add DA then drones. No hornet-user is activating OD unless it has great defence availabe or it is sitting in a protected defensive area.

Rail has high damage and can one-shot hulls under the right conditions. That's 1 reason for popularity ... effectiveness. Well yeah - most players would agree striker needs some kind of buff.

May be bad luck but it's also an inherent weakness in the turret. Same for striker. Team-mates and other enemies can interrupt lock-on and make it take significantly longer than base amount of time.

Well Thunder not nearly as popular as many turrets now so that makes no sense. So you might equip Rail module because it is popular. Again - why are players using Rail so much? Why is it popular?

How does a hornet speed up killing a JUG? JUG does not actually have DA to bypass (contrary to WIKI). Does JUG retain protection modules of the user? -
Took pay-to-win to the next level. I'd throw this summer-long boost to exp in there too - don't even want to play on my non-Legend account for the duration. Less players is somehow good for MM?

The co-ordination I see in many battles suggests otherwise. Nothing wrong with you joining and playing with friends. I'm just saying you are not making use of the huge advantage Groups can give you. Most battles I join solo I cant understand anything team-mates say. Groups means at min 3 of you can. Goes a long way toward tactical advantage. -
Not RFM. It's a broken alteration - especially now that they removed the damage nerf. It's like duplet up close and remains sniper from afar. Best of both worlds.

Then you're doing it wrong. Communication is huge in war. Why the heck are u not communicating in your group? At the very least a Group should have a plan - with responsibilities. Else - what's the point? -

I'm using Incendiary at legend ranks and it's still very effective. Might take a while for the resistance augments to become more popular - very expensive when you have to buy ONE PER HULL.

How garbage? You get bonus damage with no penalty. You can even damage yourself with turret like Gauss - while out of danger, and camp with bonus damage until you finally die. Then start over. Seriously - only downside I see is a friendly isida healing you when you don't want the healing. -

You can have different clan members on same team and each clan-tag is displayed. But that wasn't my point. It just has to be a generic tag "Group". If you joined the battle as part of a group then, instead of Clan-tag showing it would be ["Group"] . -
Neither can one-shot a light hull with avg damage. Both can if they get max damage. Gauss needs to lock-on for the "automatic" hit. It's not just press space-bar and ignore. How are you calculating shot times? After initial shot.. Gauss takes 3.0+1.7 = 4.7 seconds. Rail takes 2.6+1.1 = 3.7 seconds. Seems to me Gauss is slower.

1) Agree - there definitely are Groups vs non-groups. Group tags would allow transparency but they wont implement 4) Agree. The number of times players bring up k/d for comparison purposes is laughable. They have no clue... -

Like 12 min ago? Was leading my battle, we were winning 4-0... and with 2 min to go my screen froze. Thought it was my machine and had to re-boot. Same thing happened to you?
