    It still happens now - plenty. I see it often when I play pro-battles. See my post above. Well, isn't the last changes the start of this? Still gives the choice to play xp/bp, but if you want crystals play MM. And friends are not always filling all the slots in a battle. Team of friends against team of (randoms + a mult or two)

Try to heal yourself with any of the following combos targeting you... hornet-Rail, hornet-Magnum, Hornet-vulcan, Hornet-Gauss, Viking-Rail, Viking-Striker, Viking-Magnum, Viking-Thunder, Viking-Magnum, Viking-Hammer... See the pattern? How is Vulcan-Hunter an OP combo? Vulcan sucks up close and Hunter needs to be close to use it OverDrive.

    I've personally seen groups like this. They have friends join your team, and basically do nothing. Often leave when their freinds are winning. Another schmuck joins your team as more cannon fodder to pad the scores. They win 4 or 5 battles in a row like that until no one will join/continue. Profits with little risk. And as you point out the differences in battle fund. It's not a little different. It can be HUGE... top player winner getting 750cry - top player losing team ... 65cry They don't have to save the game - they just need to fill slots in battles. That's all MM is about - filling up teams.

    When you are battling a team with 4 or 5 hornets that seem to have OD active ALL the time, quitting the game seems like a palatable solution. The Devs have feedback and just refuse to nerf some OD aspects. But they will nerf Hunter multiple times because players can't seem to find a way to kill it before it's within 25m. Go figure.

    Everyone can compete - I have never spent a penny on the game and I do ok. Of course buyers do better overall - but if they didn't the game would not exist. Missions ARE the main reason to play in MM. You will get plenty of supplies by completing weekly missions. Battle Funds are kind of a bonus. I agree MM is not great - and many of the changes they have made are making it worse.

    You need to invest A LOT MORE ($ or time or both) to compete in MM and get decent rewards. xp/bp is a closed system that does not require all the modules & drones and now augments. Excuse or not - they want more players in MM, or TO will fold. That's where they make their $. No $ = no game... for any of us.

    Hard to say - they specifically mention format/clan/parkour. But not "regular" battles.

    Does mammoth immunity extend to EMP loss of supplies effect? Like Gauss alt and Hunter? If not, it's still weak. Immunity to afterburn & freezing for 7 seconds? is not much of an add. It's probably killing the freeze or fire the second it activates OD anyway. Either that or, for the duration gets an additional 25% resist all damage. So with DA equipped it would be 75% resistant to damage. And this 25% is universal - so hornet is only doing 75% damage and not 100%. Titan changes seem decent. Healing might need to drop to 100/second.

    Very small map - takes 3 seconds to reach enemy - meh. I play Pro-battles no supplies as well. But always on medium or larger maps. Larger maps there's fewer kills because of distance needed to travel. There's (a shred) of strategy other than spawning and flaming the nearest enemy. Ones I really can't understand are the hour-long battles on those dinky maps. Screams power-leveling to me. Spawn-attack-kill-die-spawn... repeat over and over. Each to their own I guess.

    Maybe it's me - I've never found those maps enjoyable. Just seems like a bunch of power-levelers... Boring. Immunity should not have been introduced. That's one of the worst things a game company can do to break their own game.
  13. I rarely see viking destroy themselves - even when using turrets with splash. Does it happen to you that often? Giving up the collateral damage dealt (especially during OD) is a big sacrifice for not SelfDestructing once in a blue moon.

    I think they've crossed the line and are reaching this point. I'm playing less and less - my high account (this one) barely plays MM now.

    Will be a long, long time until half the players have those augments. And your example is pretty specific. You won't find those maps in MM. Most (95%) players are not gonna buy a new hull just to play on those maps.

    All resistance does is bring back the power our modules used to have. Until you actually get that, fire and freeze will be OP. And getting one for a hull you don't normally use? Well how does that help? You gonna buy/upgrade a hull you don't use becuase of one augment? If so - then that confirms these augments are OP and should not be in the game.

    And this is the reason having Challenges every month ruins battles in MM. Many players do this and many battles become hopeless because all anyone cares about is earning stars.

    But everyone won't be getting immunity. 5000 TK? Only buyers have that. And to get a specific hull alteration for a specific hull from a container is like winning the lottery. N0 - fire and freeze will be OP for quite some time. Same for any turret that can do afterburn damage. When using smoky I equip incendiary 100% of the time.

    It's like when they removed missions from pro-battles. I would not lose much sleep if they removed funds from non-format pro-battles. I don'tplay here for the funds. It's probably the next step. Basically - they want more people in MM becuase that is what drives the economy the most. But they've been ruining MM with many of the changes so who knows what will happen.

    OH my... well colour me embarassed... so Freeze can stop afterburn and Fire can somehow unfreeze itself. And everyone else not lucky (or rich) is up the creek without a paddle,,,

    Except you can't flame yourself - the fire shoots away from your tank. Same with Freeze - you can't cool yourself since the beam projects away from your hull. Do you have any sources for your hypothesis?

    They explained the difference - alternate account abuse. Besides their explanation - format etc are closed systems. You don't have to deal with all the things players have to deal with in MM. Much more grueling in MM mosh-pits.
