  1. I'm not saying in-game it should be able to do it so quickly - I'm saying a real Vulcan with that special ammo is more capable of destroying a tank than say... a turret based on a shot-gun. Cannister (shotgun) is designed for killing infantry. Vulcans can do both. In-game, stock might be slightly OP. But it's the add-ons like DD+drones+overdrives that cause the most issues. TO has way too many boosters to ever be considered "real"

    Of course they do - why do you think they are complaining? Because TO has put them in the shop out of reach of non-buyers. So buyers can cap flags way more often, and non-buyers have ZERO protection against afterburn. This "update" just makes it all worse.

    I don't care much about not getting funds when I play in Pro-Battles. Problem is, many others might - so it will become even harder to find a decent battle there. Not many battles as it is...

    If it does not benefit me I'll be taking it as negative. My Fox module has been rendered useless - all those crystals spent for nothing. And surprise-surprise - there a lots of firebirds in battle. And you know why? Because they realize defenders have NO protection against compact tanks.

    I use smoky in Pro-battles. It' not uncommon to see 50% of enemy team equipped with that protection. As an aside - Sam was saying no more funds in ANY Pro-Battles. That true?

    Was a poor attempt (if even that, as opposed to... a money-grab). Since I now have no protection from afterburn (every firebird will have compact tanks), there's no point in equipping Fox. So I'll continue to equip protections vs 3 turrets that can kill me before I know they are there. Rail/Gauss/Shaft with honorable mentions Magnum & Vulcan

  11. It's not a machine gun - it's a 20mm or even 30mm autocannon. Lots of You-Tube videos showing it in action. "it fires large depleted uranium armor-piercing shells. The GAU-8 is a hydraulically driven seven-barrel rotary cannon designed specifically for the anti-tank role with a high rate of fire."

    You can't buy fire immunity with crytals and that's the only way to resist afterburn damage. So when an enemy has Compact Tanks equipped, your 50% Fire Resistance is more like 25% - at best.

    How many players do you think will end up with Fire Immunity & Freeze Immunity? Buyers - yeah - they can afford it. But the rest of us? 5000 TK? Not a chance.

    Fixed it for ya. Interesting how 15% of the players and 100% of the "helpers" tink this is a good update. While the other 85% of the players ... not so much.

    And for every one of your example there will be hundreds that get what I got in oening 15 containers so far ... supplies, crystals, soccer paints and a shot effect for a turret I do not own.

    A chance... at an "epic" tier... and there are 7 hulls. The "chance" you speak of to get a hull alt you can use is incredibly small. So practically - there is no real chance.

    If one group (Buyers) is the only group that has access to the most potent stuff then the balance is already gone. F2P tankers have no realistic chance of getting the hull alterations. That means we still have no protection from freezing and afterburn while buyers do.

    It's good AND bad. Yeah we can once again buy turret alterations from garage (for inflated prices) But they made it easier for BUYERS to get the best hull alterations. They don't have to gamble with containers - they can pick-and-choose. But the rest of us peasants will never be able to afford almost 5000 TKs. Since TKs have come out I've managed to save 500. 1/10 of what it costs for the potent hull alts. Since the hull alts are the most potent - the bad outweighs the good.

    Well, if they are hardly playing, they aren't much of a problem are they? Play - rank up. Don't play - who cares? And you never answered my question on how more splits is not a good thing...

    No idea what you are talking about. Maybe you are lumping that one change in with all the other crappy changes they've done over time... In what possible way (NOT INCLUDING the m2.10-mk7.0 conversion) is more splits not better. Stick to that one aspect - more splits, and please explain the down-side. If you play with mk7 items you WILL rank up - faster than anyone without premium. You can't earn crystals without experience.

    If you are using Fire now (why wouldn't you? - it's OP) then MU it. Will take a while for you to get to Marshal.
