    Hull alterations are the most powerful and will have the biggest impact on the game. They were never available to buyers for purchase either. But now they are. You don't see any problem with that? And they never listened to us. They had this planned all from the start. Was an easy way to raise prices on the turret alterations.

    You have way above average garage for that rank - to get mk7 by Major General means you had to shell out the last upgrade for m2 before the conversion. on 5 items? Either you bought more than you admit to - or you earned a lot of crystals with your buddies in the Clan. 90% of the players at that rank do not have a 9k GS.

    There's more to it than that - especially at mid ranks. There are now so many different factors that add power to your tank (turret, hull, modules, alterations, drones) that F2P tankers have to make choices - can't have it all. They must choose between upgrading turret or upgrading hull or upgrading module or buying new hull or buying new turret or buying a new module or buying an alteration or buying a drone or upgrading a drone. That's a lot of "or"s the F2P tanker has to contend with. Now change those "or"s to "and"s for a buyer. The differenceis much bigger than you suggest. Faced this a number of times. Even with 2-3 defenders targting the "weak" hornet the hornet won't die. Just waltzes off with the flag.

    Was just an example with numbers thrown in as placeholders. However, need to keep a couple things in mind... - Combiiation of module & Titan dome will have even bigger effect ... Dome alone offers a net 22.5% + the module 12.5% = 35% protection. - Any changes can't be too drastic - must be a compromise. Maybe it's 70% penetration on modules and 60% penetration on Dome. Would require some thought on what specifics are best overall.

    I think you need to have independent numbers for each of the diff protections. Example... - 0% penetration of spawn protection (will not damage spawner) - 100% penetration of DA (basically ignores DA completely) - 75% penetration of modules - 75% penetration of Titan Dome

    How are you choosing this map? In some kind of Lobby - where maybe you can switch your equipment and wait for even teams?
  8. Not to mention with so many light hulls in the game you have to chase them to heal them. It's ridiculous. And I can see it near end of battle... you as isida close in scoring to someone you are trying to heal... that team-mate would run away! Taffy was talking about NOW. Who would pay 122k/245k crystals for the privilege of doing 50% less damage and being at the mercy of your team-mates for scoring?

    The 6 vs 6 was to start. More players would be added up to 8 as they get in the queue. Half the games already do this unofficially anyway - one side has 7 players scoring while the other has 3 or 4. LOBBY would solve some significant issues.

    What? If you have DA + Protection module you probably wont die from hornet rail. Or if you are sitting in a Titan Dome. But a hornet OD bypasses all those defenses. So I have no clue what you are talking about. Hornet OD makes a HUGE difference. See above. The "most of the kills" you are quote are then coming from unprotected targets. How you are fighting so many unprotected targets is beyond me. What rank are you talking about?

    Don't see how. You could not get smoky m1 at that rank and m1 was needed to MU up to equivalent of mk6. And I didn't think supplies were available at that rank either. Unless somehow it's a very old account that had a beginners Kit from years ago.

    Like I've said a number of times - they've gone too far - might as well re-name it to Hornet-Online. The game is broken - and more players will leave in frustration.

    Why should a hornet be able to punch through a Titan dome so easily? It's immobile. Titan already has counters to the dome - Wasp bomb, Hunter, another Titan. Even a Viking Rail with LCR + DD can severely damage a target in the dome. Most times there's no point in deploying the dome since it won't do what it was designed for. And you've given an extreme example. You can't design a game function with an extreme example in mind. Every other player that does not fall under that example stands no chance - and that's the majority of players at any given moment. The hornet OD was ruining the game even before the last batch of ridiculous alterations.

    My point was the opinion presented had more than a wee bit of bias. Of course everyone thinks their favorite hull OD is perfectly balanced. Gauss, Magnum and Rail can all one-shot a fully protected medium hull - even ones inside a Titan dome. And has 20 seconds to do it. It's too much. Why do you think there are so many of them in the battles. 7 hulls in the game but it's not uncommon to see Hornet as 1/3 (or more) of the hulls in any given battle.

    Yeah I played tanki X. Never saw 3 minutes. But then again, on none-peak times in TO it still takes me up to 2+ min to find a battle in CURRENT system. Like I said - start battle 6 vs 6 - don't need to wait for 8 vs 8. Heck I played Berlin 4 vs 4 back in the day.

    Agreed. Which is why I want CP kills to score less. The objective is to capture points. I want most of my team out there doing that - not just me and 2 others dying all the time as we are exposed.

    You wouldn't happen to use hornet... and maybe a high-damage turret would you? Cuz if so, I'm surely that's probably just a coincidence... right?

    You won't lose battle time. The lobby will be in addition to the 7 minutes. Getting a guaranteed 7 min with even teams far outweighs just jamming players into battle as fast as possible. Those "issues" you speak of are minor - I mean 3 seconds? Compared to the 30 seconds we usually lose at the start? A game decided in the first 15 seconds because someone loaded much faster than everyone else is major. And I think you are discounting all the players that exit battles when they start so poorly. That's a lot of battle time lost.

    I think it should apply to CP as well. I've been on CP teams that had 5 campers - expecting 3 of us to do all the dirty work while the campers protect their cough "valuable" k/d.

    that's ironic since your most used turret is ... ... Firebird. With no resistance to afterburn why are you not using fire+compact tanks. FYI... as Hunter I've been killed plenty of times by Hammers before I could get off the EMP.
