    Alterations for Hulls

    There are too many counters to Titan dome - most of those being hornets. There's battles where it seems like a waste of time activating the dome. And saving it just to disable the wasp bomb would be silly.

    Inthe other game Tanki-X, they made Dictator a heavy hull and Titan a medium hull.

    After the recent changes due to hull alterations firebird is potent. Extremely potent with compact tanks. Even against supplies it's a laugher. Flame them 1 second. If they don't use RK they will probably die. If they do - flame them again - no RK this time. The change to protection modules has made afterburn OP.

    I am so disappointed by the number of times a Viking (with splash turret) does not kill itself when I'm in their face.

    It is a very odd "medium" hull - very awkward to drive. TX actually swapped it and Titan for heavy/medium hull. But they won't differentiate the medium hulls on armor unfortunately.

    Depends. Good at camping? Hornet. Like to get your hands dirty? Dictator for the supplies (+ scoring if team-mates nearby)
  7. Magnum-Hornet with OD+DD doesn't even need to hit you to kill you.

    This is a direct quote from the patch note. "Now, protection modules no longer decrease freezing (slow-down) and burning (after-burn) effects." Specifically mentions "after-burn". Which is why many of us are quite upset the expensive modules we invested crystals on will not stop Compact Tanks alteration from easily killing us.

    I edited 2x - went back to original post because the Patch note is from 4/24 and the players post was 4/26. Protection Modules as of 4/26 no longer reduce burning effects. Unless by "Firebird protection" you meant Firebird Immunity from hull alterations.

    According to Patch # 599 this is no longer true. Now, protection modules no longer decrease freezing (slow-down) and burning (after-burn) effects.

    No you don't. You can get highest battle-score in CP and CTF and Assault and Rugby without killing 1 tank.

    I play to win battles - couldn't care less about my K/D. Only in TDM (+ JUG, DM) do you win battles with K/D. Majority of your hours are in DM and JUG so that statitic counts. I know you looked at my profile so you know what battle-modes I play in. 1200+ in CTF and > 400 in CP. Unlike many players who just camp, regardless of the battle-mode, I will Capture Points - and die while doing it. Same for capping flags - you fail (die) more often than you cap. So that is a huge reason why my KD is (barely) below 1. The turrets you use also affects your KD. During CTF I used Isida a lot - 27% of my hours. Isida is #1 target in CTG - since - as long as Isida is alive there's a very good chance the flag carrier will cap. So you play more CTF as Isida, healing players and come back and tell me how great your K/D is. AND... when I started playing we did not have free supplies. Not until I bought my first kit at Captain did I have any kind of supply stash. Back then without RKs - you died. Now players have access to a ton of supplies - even my alt account I started about a year ago has more supplies than it can possibly use. And coincidentally, it has a KD > 1.4

    I thought Freeze module only lessened Freeze effects (damage and slowing). Afterburn is fire effect. Agreed. Even if you only progress half-way is it not worth it? You get a lot more crystals and a lot more containers.
  15. Making an OverDrive OP to "even up" the hulls is a huge mistake - especially considering one is not better than the other. Before OverDrives were ever added I had a Hornet on my main account. I prefer hornet over wasp. Not including ODs, they are pretty much equal - one is not better than the other. It's personal preference.

    It sounds like you don't actually play better than me - I play against Gauss all the time and don't find them any more annoying than Magnum or Rail. Learn to adapt. Or buy Gauss module. You have a ton of turrets but not many decent modules. Invest in better modules.

    Neither can Gauss snipe - takes much longer than 2 seconds. Gauss snipe leaves a trail as well. Never said it was "easy". There are no turrets that are easy to deal with. Not staying in one spot all the time is a start. You have to keep looking around for enemies and take cover. If you were referring to Gauss arcade - that's a lot weaker than Rail, a lot less impact and it misses more often due to the slow travel speed.

    How can it be "slow" reload if it is faster than Thunder? Thunder mk7+ is 2.2 seconds. I would not consider that slow. Every hit is > smoky AND will do an additional 450-over-3? Is it cumulative? Since reload is faster than damage-over-time you might have 150/150/300/150/150 ?

    I was referring to this "raingul is good for long range, but if you get close it is very easy to make him miss his shots and he will have trouble due to long reload" If you can get close to Rail you can get close to Gauss.

    They did - from 50% vampirism down to 10%. Then they added an alt that doubled the vampirism to 20% but cut damage in half. And since vampirism is based on damage dealt... well... you do the math... Isidas disappeared from the battlefields. No idea why they thought nerfing it by 80% would be acceptable. Try 25%? Try 20%? Nah... let's just go down to 10% shall we?

    Firebird with compact tanks is a King now. Guaranteed kills with 1 second of exposure. I see a LOT of then now - on every map. And lots of wasp freezes dropping bombs - you have no chance to escape.

    Why can't you knock off the Gauss arcade-shot aim? Gauss also does self-damage when you get really close. Rail does not have this issue.
