  1. Yes - it would be silly to swap the ODs and then reduce it more. But IF they keep it at 5 seconds, it's better on Titan than on Mammoth. Not by a large margin - but the margin does exist. I think one reason they reduced from 10 to 5 was mammoth was owing assault-RED. Unless there was a Hunter with charge ready, was impossible to stop it from capping. It would use DA+SB to get close enough, then hit OD for the coup-de-grace. Even with Hunter handy... it's stun lasts 3 seconds while the invulnerability lasted 10. It had up to 7 seconds of rampage left when stun wore off.

    Other than the fact you (maybe?) completed a "capture 3 flags" mission, I'm not sure what I'm seeing here... I see the map name, but no battle mode/results. Who won?
  3. As Titan is faster than mammoth, could make use of the 5 seconds to more effect. A slow mammoth can only catch enemies with death-zap if they are very, very close already. And the 5 seconds of invulnerability on mammoth - you can't get very far - even with SB. Unless you are in gold-drop-zone already the 5 seconds is almost useless.

    Being a wee bit casual with the word "fast". Did you mean faster? To be clear - you think immortality should remain on mammoth? Or go to Titan?
  5. How you figure? If they get 2 kills per drop, they are charging it up faster (in addition to other actions they are performing aside from OD). On mdeium-sized, crowded maps - even DM - they can get multiple kills per drop. Seen it many times. Why do you think there are CTF teams using 2-4 wasps? That's up to half the team with 1 turret out of 14.

    Works well on large maps that have decent cover. Get near flag, freeze defenders, then make off with flag. wasps do that but also drop a bomb. Plus... hornet/freeze is decent at ambush as well.
  7. Well yeah. Won't be quite that easy though... if you can't ambush them, you can still be killed by ranged weapon + DD. Goofy thing is... when my Hunter encounters another, and they are fractionally faster, I get stunned AND lose my OD. That does not seem right. Either we both get stunned, or I keep my OD. But that is not happening.

  9. Does not matter. Unless you saw them just use it - will be greater than 0. If you get 2+ tanks, odds are 1 is half-way there or better. Sometimes you just gotta take your chances. Plus... it's not like you can see supplies charge either. Use it before they can activate and they start at zero. You mean like Vikings are already doing to you with their longer-ranged weapons? Both have OD... Viking has thunder... you think Hunter will be able to use the OD before dying? (not considering ambush situations - cuz both can win if they get surprise) I'm not saying this is something that has to be done. Was a replacement suggestion for not being able to stun...

    Don't the mods have contact with anyone on Devs side? They should be proactive and follow-up - get confirmation from devs. Show screen-shots of the damage it is actually doing. Can't be that difficult.

    What are you talking about? <_< The objective of red is to CAP flags. Red gets NO score for attacking - all points from capping only. Red should only attack in conjunction with a team-mate trying to cap a flag. That's pretty much only mode where I cap because - in CTF there's only 1 flag split among 8 players.
  13. Nah. A bunch of bad games in a row - I pack it in for the night. But I'm not surprised at their methodology... TO does not want balance. They posit that "losers" will spend $$ to stop losing.
  14. I can't believe you actually typed that out and actually posted it... You increase the playtime by making it fun for players to play. Blow-outs are not fun... many times for either side...

    Pretty sure Cabbage meant all buff - as that was what you did with shaft. Was a spoof. Not sure the point of the thread. All shaft-users will give thumbs up and everyone else the opposite. Was your hypothetical just an ice-breaker? Was not an actual suggestion was it?

    Depends on your rank. At Legend - lots of players already have a (mostly) full garage so shilling out for new stuff sans sale is like a luxury. To fully upgrade a module without 50% sales (and using speedups) means a loss of crystals for other purchases. Many players at lower ranks simply can't do that - they will suffer in some area if they empty bank account on a new toy. Your profile shows 6 m3 turrets and 3 m3 hulls plus a bunch of m2s. So you must have invested real $$ somewhere. No F2P player has a chance at going your Gauss route.

    I disagree. That would be like saying a hypothetical alt for Isida, that cuts healing by 50%, but adds 50% damage, is not an upgrade. Do you really think that would not be an upgrade for Isida? If the buffs of an alt are > the the nerfs of the alt, it is an upgrade. At worst it gives 3x faster reload for a nerf of 30% on max damage sniping. That is a net buff.

    I feel the same way about Hunter-Vulcan. before ODs - a very good combo. After ODs... no real benefit - compared to many other combos it has fallen behind. I agree it would be nice for Striker to get a small buff on lock-on. You may, or may not be aware that... the lock-on improvement as you upgrade happens only when you go from one m-level to the next m-level. M1.1 has same lock-on time as m1.9. But then at m2.0 it changes...

    But... you paid full-price for the module right? Gauss came out after the birthday sale. I also bought Gauss on my brigadier account (full price :ph34r: ) - then bought the module at the next sale (I think 30% off) But this account had been spending on MUs for my m3+ equipment - no chance to buy a new m3 module. Will take time to save up.

    You only play tanki to get things like skins and paints? :huh: And how do you figure it's "easily"? The SHOP has always been around... been able to pay with $$ instead of investing time for ages.

    Not sure why you think so... "TANKOINS will appear in the Shop and will become the main currency to buy items in the SHOP" You only need to buy Tankoins if you want something from the SHOP.
  24. Gauss does not do enough damage to warrant a laser. Would ruin the turret.
