How does TWINS only get an OD 2x per game? ODs are for hulls, not turrets. TWINS on Viking only gets 2 ODs per battle. But that's the same for every turret. Don't see how your post applies to twins.

Which turrets received a "damage buff" when activating Viking OD. How much was that buff. How much is the buff now? Does Double-Damage stack with this buff (like it appears to do for Mammoth OD and SB)?

I would rather they did not introduce these ODs. They have too much of an impact on game-play. Without OD activated you are pretty much helpless. But try a few battles and see for yourself.

Fixed it for ya. ;) How do you figure most maps are not suitable for Viking? All maps require killing tanks - and an equipped Viking OD is a guaranteed kill to at least one (even powerful) tank. More if they are in close proximity. You just need to equip the turret best suited for the map. The Viking OD just enhances those benefits. Then look at Hunter - how often you think that OD will get used on maps like Highways?

because it is OP enough. Ridiculous impact and never-ending shooting. Gets more out of DD and many of the ODs than other turrets. What exactly do you think is weak about twins?

How? Buyers get Containers and OD as well. So that should cancel out and they retain the advantages they had before OD was introduced. Actually, buyers will likely generate OD faster than non-buyers due to better equipment options - so the gap might be even wider. Or are you saying it's now more luck so anyone can win? Not sure that's an improvement...

It's not quite as effective as you suggest. Mammoth, Hornet or Viking can easily kill a Titan damaged that much. Add Hunter which can deactivate it. In DM... you are going to be targeted by multiple enemies at same time and die fairly easily. Many of the ODs can still take down another player with OD. And it's become the opposite - I you don't have OD... run and hide.

You mentioned Legends. Many of those players had Viking before the silly swap. You obviously like Viking more. Why did you buy Hunter M3? For the OD? It really isn't very good for camping... Disagree with almost all your points - so - we'll have to agree to disagree.

Magistral? Yeah - hate the mosh-pit battles. Sandal & Sandbox are just too small for 8 vs 8. 6 vs 6? Maybe.

I get more kills with it and Vulcan than I do Hunter and Vulcan.

Kunger is actually pretty big. I would consider it a "large" map. Skylark should be added.

If we weren't meant to kill ANY tank in JUG, the system would prevent it. JUG is another form of DM. Prison Rules apply.

It does not seem like it is the better choice then. It comes into play the closer the opponent is. But if you are going to miss up that close what is the point?

Only stat Viking has that is better than Hunter is 0.5 speed - which is not much at all. And many Legends are not "choosing" it. Thye had it way back when it was actually a better hull and still have it now. That is exactly my situation. They changed it shortly after I bought the medic kit. Recently I chose to buy a Hunter because I was unhappy with the way Viking performed. O.5 is almost negligible and will only be realized after both hulls have traveled some distance. The discrepancy is likely MUs.

It may have a lot of buildings- but it is a very, very large map. Have played it in past with 8 vs 8 or even 10 vs 10 and had no movement issues.

Their logic is crap. First off - they don't describe what specific options (IF ANY) they tried. What also would make it viable on ANY hull? Reducing the spin-up more and actually fixing the overheating. But they obviously put little effort into that. Oh wait... your last sentence was sarcasm. ;)

So my Titan m3 18/20 with SB could not outrun a mammoth that activated OD. They must be stacking mammoth OD on top of SB. That's too fast - since 7m is instant death.

You won't likely be able to kill three stunned tanks with Ricco - not in the 3 seconds the stun lasts. Maybe if you had both DA and DD equipped you can fight off the 2 surviving after you kill one. And don't bother trying it with Vulcan... :angry: too slow.

My alt had battles vs Gismos at Colonel. Ranked up to Brigadier and faces Legends. Not all the time - but it happens.

If the rate of fire for turrets like Thunder/Rail/Twins/Ricco/Smoky is unchanged, how is it weaker? I've seen them destroy 2-3 tanks easily before the OD runs out. Compare it to Hunter OD? 50 yds or more separate the two... Hunter does not stand a chance.
