    I agree. MM battles are often just grinds to complete missions or get stars. Many (most?) of those battles are not really fun. Wanna play just to have fun? Pro-battles on maps and options that suit your playstyle.
  3. DM is one mode of many. The team-modes combined far outweigh DM in terms of battles played. As soon a striker tries to use salvo in any Team battles, multiple enemies target that striker and either disrupt the lock-on or outright kill the striker. Salvo does not get used nearly as often as desired. Plus in MM everyone is on supplies - getting a lock on targets with SB is much more difficult. They often get under cover before the missiles are launched. Even Titan M3+. Only noob (or desperate) heavy hulls are heading out to no-mans land where they are subject to salvos.

    Don't waste your breath. That mod ignores whatever you post and changes the narrative to fit his/her outlook. MM can take many minutes to put you in a battle. Many attempts. One issue is - if you need a specific battle-mode for missions - you have no idea what is out there. You have to wait for MM to eventually put you in a battle - possibly only with 3 minutes left. Good luck completing that mission. At least with battle list you could filter by mode - don't see anything useful? Switch mode and try to do a different mission. Rank Limits - I agree they are too wide. Forcing players to fight 8 ranks above them does is not compensated by forcing 8 vs 8. Instead of adding that Colonel (low) and Gismo (high) to a battle to make it 8 vs 8 - just leave it 7 vs 7. Timer glitch - I agree Isida - MM can not control that at all - since players can change equipment. Some teams communicate better than others.

    Not doing much damage? 3000 per... self-destruct in 5-10 seconds would make them useless. Layer is not doing it just as they arrive... else they disappear when saboteur is killed. Need less mines or less damage per mine from saboteur...

    Stop at 14 or 15 / 20. Wait until you have more protections and an m3 heavy hull before going final MUs. You really need more modules and better modules.

    I have > 13,000 mines in my garage. How many battles is that ( and don't forget they keep coming in those containers :angry: )

    Yeah... the cool-down for placing mines makes this drone less effective in CTF than I imagined. Might be better off in DMs where you die more quickly (and can place more often). But for DM I like my Ricco-Titan combo with trooper drone as that allows you to survive the deadly re-spawn more often...

    First team to cap in CTF wins when Saboteur equipped. Just keep that Saboteur alive, kill the attackers and wrack up the score. I bought Miner drone and it pales in comparison to Saboteur in Team battles.

    This is what I needed. Thanks. Example of Incendiary in burning indicates 1500 damage? That's nuts! Alterations are not supposed to make turrets better. It also requires 2 different protection modules to limit damage. So they double-down on the buff. INSANE In what way is stock better than Incendiary?

  17. You can not get stars or complete missions in Pro-Battles. However, it does allow you to play custom battles the way you want. Example... longer battles on map you like with no supplies. Can still gain decent crystals, but - the rewards are secondary.

    Assume no smoky and no fire protection - does either stock or incendiary do more than the other? Also... supplies are used a LOT in MM ... so are they taken into account? DD would affect regular shots and critical shots. Does DD affect incendiary rounds?

    1) You've answered your own question - DD makes your tank 2x as powerful. Would normally take ~ 6 shots. After 2nd shot hit RK, or use DA or hide. If a tank sits there and lets another hit it 3 times and does nothing about it - that Viking deserves the death 2) What alteration do you consider the "stronger" one?

    Freeze module will reduce the amount of time you are completely helpless out in the open. Smoky-cryo freezes you instantly - unlike freeze. :wacko: Which is kind of goofy. Not a fan of these multi-type damage alterations.

    It's getting silly. hard to complete missions and get multiple stars when A) enemies 8 ranks above you are killing you and B ) you are also competing for Stars and top-3-winner missions with team-mates 6-8 ranks above you. The fact that teams may be balanced in no way helps you with multiple stars and harder missions.
  22. So insta-kill on a heavy hull with less than 35% protection and insta-kill on medium hulls even with 50% protection. The laser thing means nothing as everyone knows how to hide a fully charged laser. Impact force means nothing to a dead tank. So you really have no negatives for the ability to kill a protected heavy hull. Um... no thanks.

    There is an alteration that removes splash for twins - Stable Plasma - but that's an m2 alteration?, which is surprising. Should be m1. (ooops - Chaos beat me to it) As for supplies - no turret makes better use of DD than twins - squeezes every last second out of that supply. Even on larger maps twins can do ok - you just need to stick to more hidden paths and work your way to enemy. Or stay in base and ambush them. As for Fire - yes, many consider that turret OP - has been for some time. If you're worried your twins does not match up well against it, you are not alone.

    OK grumpus. :P But... only if they cut the number of tanks in DM in HALF. Unless you get placed in Alex or Kunger or a few others, they just become mosh-pits with 16 tanks. Dying an spawning every 20 seconds is not my idea of "having fun".
