    You may want to lower that 418 by a lot more.. there are a LOT of alternate accounts out there and many were active over the event. Would not be surprised if it was closer to 250k-300k...

    I'm in that situation on average every two weeks. I stop playing from (my) friday until after server re-set on (my) Tuesday evening. If enough people have this same issue I'm sure Match-maker will thrive - amirite?

    Ironic in that each and every hull used to be different. Then TO made them all almost the same (within the weight category). Adding different OD to game might make it more interesting. It also might make it more unbalanced - like almost every update they have tried in last 2 years.

    Yup - on average that is 60 battles. 15 / (0.5 * 0.5) And that second 0.5 is being generous since it's top 3 not top 4 / 8...

    My second account which is it rank Colonel played a DM battle last night. Was doing ok, but even with use of lots of supplies I was struggling to get into top 3. Hit tab to see my opposition and was shocked to see the leader was a Gismo. Not shocked that a Gismo was leading. Shocked that a Gismo was in a battle with my Colonel. Like come on - that's just getting stupid. Fighting tanks 8 ranks above me. :blink:

  10. Is this your only account - or do you have a higher one up in Legend. I'm asking because it seems like you have not encountered m4 turrets + alts + drones. trust me when I say - you don't last all that long even with 50% modules equipped. without them you would not last 10 seconds in many battles. There are 13 turrets + mines. 3 modules covers you for only a small fraction. You will face many enemies you are not protected against - and with 8 min battles you will not be visiting garage often to change them out.

    So basically one extra RK... (periodically). it's dicey to use OD at that moment though... timed incorrectly and OD wasted and gone.

  17. Isida needs the opposite. A module that lowers DPS but increases the energy pool so that it can do more total damage before energy depleted. Can actually kill a heavy tank but - takes longer to do it...

    All things equal? (except for turret and protection amount)... That 16% difference in protection can be the difference of hammer needing to re-load clip a 2nd time. 24% means hammer can kill a medium hull in ~ 4.25 seconds. 32% means hammer needs 8.5 seconds to kill a medium hull.
  19. certainly not the only person - ask diesel Except for buyers or Legend 20+, most players did not have the funds to manage 2 medium hulls that are similar. My Viking was probably already m3 by the time they did that update. It's taken until now for me to be in a comfortable position to buy a second medium hull - making my first one somewhat redundant. Would have done it sooner but I had higher priorities - like upgrading my turrets and acquiring/upgrading protection modules. Viking is different from Hunter, but in many ways not better. There's a reason I upgraded my previous version of Viking to m3...

    Maybe if we were given more relevant updates on our "complaints" they would not appear so often. let us know... 1) that the "complaint" has been reported - I mean an actual response to that complaint not the general "all complaints are forwarded..." 2) Response from the other end - confirmation they have received the complaint and are analyzing it 3) updates on the analysis 4) a final ruling - with an explanation (example is Viking - Hunter switcheroo - we never received a legitimate explanation on that) Unless TO is willing to show good-will and do something like described above you are going to see the same complaints posted here over and over and over...
  21. 35% max is low - considering there are alts like shaft one that gives a 30% boost (at m2). In this example shaft protection is useless as it does not even prevent the one-shot kill on medium hulls, let alone light hulls. And... there are more turrets now and some do multiple types of damage. There would have to be at least 4 slots in the modules to make up for this. So how would you compensate players that invested a lot of crystals into modules over and above 35%? Some players have to choose between a module, or new turret or MU-ing current hull, etc. When the modules are nerfed, those that payed up front for modules lose more than those that upgraded hulls... FYI - the reduction from 50% to 35% is a 30% nerf... so 15% goes down to 10%... almost not worth buying if turrets keep their current damage output. 10% = 7%...
  22. When there's 3 min or less no one wants to join the battle. Another reason auto-finish should be added back in. Hunter has way more stability than Viking - so for turrets like smoky or striker or rail, Hunter is the better hull. If enemy impact keeps rocking your hull so much that you keep missing your shots, you will lose. Viking has slight edge in speed but it is not so much it makes a huge difference. And Hunter will beat Viking in short sprints as it has better acceleration. 75% of players might have Viking because they bought it before the stat switcheroo Devs pulled a couple years ago. I'm in that basket. What I really wanted is what Hunter is today. I'm actually saving up for Hunter now because I don't find Viking useful when under fire.

    Any different from 1 firebird and 1 hammer (with duplet) cornering you? Put on Fire+Vulcan+? module. Don't sit in the open - they have to fire for ~ 8-10 seconds before generating the alt damage. Get close - Vulcan rotation is terrible. The alt is pretty silly - combing multiple types of damage in one turret is not really fair.

    They already did. Isidas get no score from healing an over-heating Vulcan. Any isida with missions to do or stars to earn will be better off attacking or capping.

    Match-Maker rank-bracket spreads are too wide. Now my Colonel account is facing Commanders... :blink:
